I took my 15 yr old daughter to get her nails done. She was excited and had the nails picked out. Got there right as they opened. Didn't have to wait. She showed the lady what she wanted and the color. I didn't find out till we got home that she was rude with no conversation except to tell my daughter to quit moving. I made an appointment was told to be 10 minutes early. Got there 1 min early due to work and traffic. Was told I was late and they gave my time slot away. I know I wasn't early but I was still on time. Worst customer service ever the owner is smug and rude. My grandma went here for a fill and pedicure. The guy didn't listen when we verbally told him we wanted a pedicure. He rushed her "pedicure" with just a color change since it was close to closing time. Didn't clean the feet in water or soap, no massage, no lotion no nothing. This place is filthy! Sinks not working, dust and grime everywhere, staff with no shoes on. All I wanted was a basic manicure-no gel or dip. The technician spent less than 10 minutes on my nails and insisted on using the drill on my natural nail when I told her I didn't want it because it's too harsh. None of the dry skin around my cuticles was removed. My nails look worse after the manicure than before I went in. What a rip off and health risk! read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! My first time here, walked in and didn't get greeted or told to wash my hands just signed my name and what I wanted and figured it out by myself until my name was called. I originally wrote down mani-pedi but realized this wasn't the place for me by the cleanliness and attitude so i told my tech after she removed my toe polish I just wanted a polish change and she proceeded to insist I get a pedicure and didn't want to take no for an answer and her mood got very bad and she instantly changed her work ethic noticeably which made me very uncomfortable. She kept shaking her head and repeating herself saying that's what I wrote down. The gel light was broken and she had it rigged so it worked but made me nervous it was going to fall and mess up my nails. Mind you she was very ruff on my nails and toes just for a polish change. Then on to my nails. She did a horrible job at removing my other polish and very short nail tip I had on. She made me bleed using a drill buffer and still persisted that she give me a manicure and I had to sternly say "no you've already made me bleed!" NOT HAPPY AND WILL NOT COME BACK OR RECOMMEND ANYONE HERE. Clean this place up and teach your nails techs some manners and technique!!!!! read more

This was my first pedicure in several months. I have still been very nervous about getting out during quarantine besides work and the grocery store. Union nails came highly recommended on a Facebook page for Washington Missouri, and they did not disappoint! Not only was the place very clean, I watched their sanitization protocol between customers and it was impeccable. I felt very comfortable being there. The staff was very friendly and Michelle was my technician. I received a very relaxing deluxe pedicure. She was very nice and did a wonderful job massaging my tired legs. I made an appointment for 5:00, was told to come 10 minutes early. I said I would try, as I don't always get off right on time. I showed up a few minutes before 5. I was handed paint samples and was signing in. The owner/manager (???) says "you are late". I said "my appointment was at 5, I'm not late". He said "it is policy you come 10 minutes early." I said "I'm sorry, I didn't get off my job right on time." He said "every one has a job, you are late." I threw my samples on the counter and walked out. They have forgotten that who is paying them for services. A manicure/pedicure is a treat for me and he had ruined it by being rude and disrespectful. I went to a different nail salon as a walk-in, they were happy to see me, was seated immediately at a pedicure station and had great service. I do not recommend Union Nails. read more

Just have to say, beware. I went for pedicure shortly after it reopened. Took all of 15 mins. No dry time. Understandable. Went to pay & they said don't take discover. Oops, my bad. Could have sworn I'd used it there before. Girl said " be back, ask " & she disappeared. Guy came back, said they never took it, but he'd do it for me this time. Ok then, I won't need to resort to plan B. He placed receipt in front of me , I didn't Check it Thoroughly, took my copy & left. It was only later I realized they charged me 10$ to use my discover card! Completely not professional! Had I known this I could have many many other payment options! Best nail salon in Franklin County. Super clean. Tony and Nancy do a fantastic job and have great personalities! I usually get a gel manicure and a pedicure. 4 stars because of the country music blaring. The owners are great, the atmosphere is nice (so long as you like country music). Staff is friendly and can joke around or carry on a conversation. As to the complaint below, I can say my experience approaching the owner with a complaint was much different. On my second visit, I tried gel polish. Within a day or two the color seemed uneven and the polish was peeling. I went back and my nails were completely redone, free of charge. Been going there a long time and mostly like it. Always like when my normal nail tech is there. Today, not the case. I tried to explain what was needed and the nail tech INSISTED on her way.
