Had an awesome experience at 5irom Golf in Baltimore. The simulators are super high quality and really accurate, which makes practice feel just like being on the course. The staff is friendly and actually knows what they're talking about, so you can get real tips instead of just swinging in a booth. The place is clean, modern, and has a great vibe whether you're serious about improving or just coming with friends to have fun. Definitely one of the best indoor golf spots in the area -- I'll 100% be coming back.

This place was a real sleeper, the golf felt so real and the food here was great. I actually like the kiddy game better than the more realistic game. The service was fast Ans the food was hot. This is nice place to go on a date. It's a warehouse feel and it's kinda cold in there but I had fun.

Whether you are a golfer or just looking for something active to do, this is a cool place to try. GLOWS: - The location is nice (good decor) - full bar, food, pool and ping pong table--- with other small games throughout the venue. - They have private rooms that you can host an event. The space is very cute. - Staff was super nice and helpful. GROWS: - I wish there were more week day evening deals. There are discounts during the day, but for a date night for 2 people, $50 an hour is a bit expensive.

Came here early on a Saturday for a little bit of fun and something different. Now although I had been to Top Golf I didn't know what to expect (I noted Top Golf because it's the most similar to this that I've been to) I made an appt online after checking other reviews. The only thing that was weird was locating the entrance because of construction on the street. We walk in on time and I give my name. They already had us setup upstairs. Although initially I did want to be by the bar, upstairs was so quaint and perfect, because I could miss all the shots I wanted with no on lookers . We ordered the fries and tenders and a few drinks. The fries were in point and I'd like to consider myself a fry connoisseur. They had several (hundreds I'm sure) of courses to choose from and a few games as well. I also want to add that the wallpaper in the bathroom was insanely good and they had all the lady things you'd need on a date in the bathroom, which was a nice touch! Also, check in while you're there they might still have a coupon!

I went to 5i tonight with my grandson and we had the best time. It's a great way to bond. I am writing to you to let you know that Martin, made our visit even more enjoyable. He took the time to show us everything while also waiting on tables. He's a great multitasker. Kudos to whoever hired Martin,. He is pleasant, he has the best personality, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the establishment. I believe in sending back positive feedback when I receive great service. Thank you Martin, for a wonderful time spent with my grandson. not much to do with 15-year-old boys, but we find golfing a great way to bond. Very fun and very relaxing. Went to this place because we couldn't secure top golf reservations. I really enjoyed the experience. Also, we went after 7pm so all appetizers and space rentals were half price. It was also slow so we were able to receive more individualized service. We ordered a few different items off of the menu. I would rate the overall experience a 7/10, food 6/10 and drinks 10/10.

We randomly popped in here on a Friday night after a previous engagement fell through. I'm happy to say that it worked out nicely. Apparently, it's usually packed on Fridays but maybe the rain/hail worked out in our favor and we were started as soon as we walked in without a reservation. Your play includes golf clubs and balls to hit so you don't need to be golf enthusiast to enjoy. I love the simulation of your ball trajectory and advanced stats are monitored. You can even play around with wind characteristics if you want a greater challenge. When you're not golfing, there's table tennis, a simple basketball net, and a full bar. What struck me the most was how reasonably priced it was for such a good time. A half an hour of play was less than $30 and drinks were a bargain! I would highly recommend and will return.

There is a reason they have 5 stars (as of this review). Great management (Will) and wonderful and friendly service from Martin and Brie. If you do not play golf, there is ping pong. It is air conditioned and the music is great. This place is clean and welcoming. I believe they also host events with food. Also there are TV's for sports games. Please support this great business.

Nice little spot for a group outing or a men's night out. Took my husband and some friends here for his birthday. Recommend requesting the bar area it gives a lot of options for playing other games while everyone else is on the simulator.

Pro Instructor Katie Mid evaluating my swing on Trackman.

My golf swing was off causing me to score the worst in my league. I saw an ad on Instagram for swing evaluation at Five Iron Golf and the instructor was a woman so I signed up for a session. Easy parking out front and in a garage across the street. Lively yet laid back 3 story venue. Service was cheerful & friendly from the front door. Then I met Pro Instructor Katie Mid. I was immediately comfortable working with her as she understood how the female body (breasts) affect swing, stance, and arm position. Her knowledge of mechanics and sport is extensive. Katie erased all the backwards training my two previous male instructors provided. I signed up for a lessons package just to start. Oh, and the drinks are delicious, I was too excited to eat. I got a full Trackman report for reference with all of Katie's notes. Five Iron has several options for practice, playing or instruction 7 days/week.

Ask the Community - Five Iron Golf

    Can you byob?

I'm pretty sure that's a no. They have a full bar which means they have a liquor license, that would prevent it.

Katie had an eye for which golfers have similar physical builds to me and my son and that also helped improve our swing.

A Perfect Irish Pub Experience in the Heart of Baltimore…read more While traveling from New York and spending a few days in Baltimore filming for our upcoming faith-based app, Your Daily Presence, and our Life in Motion YouTube channel, I was looking for an authentic Irish pub where I could relax after a long day--and James Joyce Irish Pub exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and exactly what you'd hope for in a traditional Irish pub. Rich woodwork, an incredible selection behind the bar, and the unmistakable feeling that this is a place where people gather to enjoy good conversation and great food. I ordered the Guinness and a burger with fries, and both were outstanding. The Guinness was poured perfectly, and the burger was cooked exactly as requested--juicy, flavorful, and served with crisp, well-seasoned fries. What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever being overbearing. It's the kind of hospitality that makes you want to stay for another conversation and another pint. As someone traveling the country meeting people and sharing stories through our new app and YouTube channel, I appreciate places that reflect the character of a city. James Joyce Irish Pub does exactly that. If you're visiting Baltimore--or if you're a local looking for outstanding food, a perfectly poured Guinness, exceptional service, and a true Irish pub atmosphere--this place deserves every one of its 5 stars. I'll definitely be back the next time my journey brings me to Baltimore. Sláinte!

The dinner option was generous with 2 delicious crabby mounds, and two sides which I did not want, but I was able to sub out others. Nice! The old fashioned wasn't much to look at, but man o man... it was actually pretty good and a reasonable price. I had a couple as I'm not one to pass up cheap drinks. Service was spectacular too with our waiter joking around with us and taking good care of us while we dined after a conference. If you're in Baltimore and near the convention center (or the Orioles Park), this place is worth a stop if you're in a crab cake mood and don't want to venture to the Inner Harbor for something a little more upscale.

We stopped by around 5 PM on a Saturday before an Orioles game, so as expected, the place was extremely busy and had a lively pregame atmosphere. The beers were good, but unfortunately, the food is what brought my rating down to three stars. The fries tasted a little stale, and I ordered the smash burger (forgot to grab a picture), which was pretty average. I've definitely had much better smash burgers elsewhere. We also tried the chicken fingers, which were very basic and reminded me of typical ballpark food, not bad, but nothing memorable or something I'd crave again. Overall, Pratt Street Ale House is a solid spot for drinks and the pregame atmosphere, especially if you're heading to an Orioles game. However, based on the food we tried, I probably wouldn't come back specifically to eat. I'd recommend it more as a pregame drinks spot than a dining destination.
