This is the location we frequent most often as it's the closest to our home and shopping. I was prepared to give this a two star rating this visit but because the food was actually above average this visit, I bumped it up a star. It's a Saturday afternoon, early evening (around 4) and the place was fairly busy. Cashier was friendly but I did notice the crew was being extra chatty and joking with each other. I don't normally care that people are having fun at work but when the service starts to suffer both with the customers and cleanliness, I draw the line. The place was in a shambles with counters and tables dirty, floors littered with trash, garbage overflowing and NO SOAP in the bathrooms. Also, both Freestyle machines weren't working properly with absolutely no one giving a crap about fixing them any time soon. Waiting time took about 15 minutes or so to get our order. Luckily, the food was really, really good with the fries being extra crispy (much more than usual and I loved it) and burgers better than I remember. Great place to get exactly what the sign on the front door says. You place your order and you get exactly what you asked for on your burger. Burgers are hot and juicy. A single order of fries feeds two or three people. The place was clean and tidy. read more

I work in Warren so five guys is a great place to come grab a bite to eat during lunch hour. They are always packed during the lunch rush and always manage to get you in and out really fast. Helpings of fries are always plentiful so always get the little fry instead of a regular or large. The coke machine can be finicky since it is one of those 30 million flavors in one machine, so if the person in front of you opts to get a cherry orange lime diet coke, press the water button and hold it for a few seconds to clear the lines. In the summer they have outdoor seating so that's real nice when it is a nice day out. Parking is also a little packed during lunch, so you can park near Meijer to avoid the packed spots read more

So far my plan hasnt failed me yet, I have taken a few people from out of town to this place and have been overly impressed with the burgers and fries that serve. Sometimes sinking your teeth into a big greasy burger and a bag full of fries sounds so delicious. If you are in one those moods, I suggest trying this place. The burgers are fresh and made to order. You can add all the fixings you'd like for little to no charge. Nothing really much else to say about a decent burger. Every time I've been there, the fries have been crunchy, never soggy, probably because I go at lunch where the turnover rate is pretty high. I love their cajun fries. Definitely try these if you like a bit of kick. They don't skimp on the portions. There is enough for 2-4 people in a single order. Definitely don't get 1 order per person. While you wait there are peanuts available which is a nice touch since sometimes they get backed up and you have to wait 10 minutes or so for your food. Nothing special about the decor. It gets really crowded at lunch, especially this location since it's right by the GM Tech Center. You have to try it at least once. read more

All these reviews are about the burgers, but I must say the hot dogs are awesome, you can get whatever toppings a burger has. I got a bunch of veggies like hot peppers and lettuce and ale cheese very good, and all beef I think. For being just a burger fry chain its pretty good! read more

Want to start out by saying fortunately this was not my first visit to a Five Guys. I placed my order online and was told by the site that my burgers would be ready by 6:52. When I went in to pick it up they where a little busy but not outrageously. I went to the counter and gave my name, the girl just turned around and never said a word. I waited for her to bring my order for a minute or two but then moved back. No order came. I waited, along with other customers. Twenty minutes later I went back to the pickup counter and talk to another girl, she called my name out that I was there. I waited another 10 minutes before they called me up to pickup my order. When I got home the order was wrong. I wasn't going back because of my previous 30 minute wait. The burgers were the absolute worst burgers I've ever gotten. Soggy buns, cold meat, wrong condiments, terrible all around. We threw out most of the food. We will NOT be going back to this Five Guys EVER and it was such a nauseating experience it's going to be a long time before I go to any Five Guys. This is the best large scale burger joint I have ever been to. The value is excellent! You can pile on the toppings at no extra charge, the toppings are also fresh not frozen. Be very careful if you or someone with you has a peanut allergy as peanut oil is used here. read more

Five guys has good burgers! They have call ahead for dine in and take out which helps since they grill each burger for each customer. What a concept. This make for a very fresh burger that tastes like 1200 calories. It beats any fast food burger and most sit down joints. Not the best I've had but in the top 5 for sure. The best part of the experience is the staff who generally is quick and friendly. If you have not been you must at least give it a try. read more

We just visited this place for the first time, and when we put an order, we watched the people in front of us make our food. One of the main people making the burgers started scratching his nose and face without changing his gloves and went back to work making our burgers. I went into the 12 and Mound Five Guys tonight around 8:30, let me begin by saying I've never been let down by a visit to one of their restaurants until tonight. The service was great, cashier was friendly and personable, the person whom I assume was the manager was keeping the dining area well stocked and very clean. I ordered a cheeseburger and side of french fries, but I knew something was up when they called out my order number less than a minute after I placed my order. The fries had very clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time, they came to me soggy with grease, floppy, and not the least bit crisp. The burger was a slapped together mess with grease dripping off the bottom bun and condiments all over the top bun. While all the toppings were plenty moist, the actual burger patties were dry and overcooked. I really enjoy fast casual counter-serve restaurants such as these, for the reason that food is usually cooked to order and of a higher quality than other places. Neither my burger or fries were cooked to order, and it showed. Like I said, the service was good and the people were nice, the food was just lacking that fresh quality I associate with Five Guys. this place is great. nothing fancy, just really good food. you order at the counter, they cook your food, they call your number. Easy. And their burgers are great!! I like the fact that you can get green pepper slices on your burger (growing up my folks always put green peppers on burgers.
