Bun was a bit on the mushy side. Double patty needed salt or something. Double the meat as In n Out but it looked like something someone made at home. You can always count on 5G burgers to taste the same or similar, depending on what toppings you get, across the board. This place is no different. I like the location of this place cause it's part of the outer part of the Valencia mall that is next to the mall parking lot, that has an easy in and out of the mall. If I wanted In-N-Out, I would have gone there. Just like when I'm craving GeA I don't go to Burger King and say "this Whopper sucks compared to the Behemoth." I'd heard the comparisons to this burger and that burger but wanted to judge this one on its own merit. An East Coast burger moving into West Coast burger turf. I like the fact that I could get a bazillion different things on it (mustard, mayo, ketchup, cheese, relish, tomato, BBQ and A1 sauces) at the time of order which makes it feel a little more hand crafted and little less production. The meat was cooked properly and seasoned well with only 5 minute wait on a busy pre-Christmas shopping day. The fries have an option of Cajun or standard (since I was sharing went plain) which do have a good taste to them. Yes Lucy, in comparing them to Fry Smith much, much better. It's a bit odd that everything is in a paper bag (no trays here), wrapped in aluminum foil and then numbered to correspond to the order on your invoice. I do like being juvenile with the complimentary peanuts and throwing them at the kids but that's just me. Even though it was a single, it was gigantic which I love because that's some bang for my buck. The meat patty itself was soft and tender (I think it's because they hand form all the patties--yes, that makes a HUGE difference) and still had a crispiness about it because they cook them on a flat top. All the toppings were fresh and crispy and were a perfect accompaniment to a great burger. I added jalapenos but I couldn't taste them. I would recommend a 5 topping maximum just so you can taste all the components of the burger. Ahhh.... The fries were so goooooooodd.. Hand cut and soft.
