Great quality every time
Gretchen S.

I've never been to a bad Five Guys yet. This was another great location - excellent service and great quality food. We ordered the regular bacon burger and the bun-less bacon cheeseburger, both done all the way, cajun and regular fries, two drinks, and a coffee Oreo milkshake. Five Guys is one of those places that you can easily spend over $40, but unlike other places, at least you feel you got your money's worth in portion and quality. We were not disappointed. Flavorful, juicy burgers and a great shake. I love that there is the option to order the burger in a lettuce wrap too, as well as many sugar free drink options. I tried the sugar free cream soda, which was definitely better than a Diet Coke. Everything was great. Just don't make the mistake of ordering two LARGE fries like us! One small order probably would've been adequate. We always forget how huge the large is! One is a lot, two orders is insane lol. Overall, we would definitely come back to this location. No complaints.

Visited February 2020 (PRE COVID) Who doesn't love five guys? We were hungry and had no place in mind. Literally we were just cruising around the area looking for dinner and saw the Five Guys sign lit up like a hunger beacon in the night. Of course we had to pay them a visit! We decided to dine in and service was quick and responsive as always. Here's what we ordered: Little Cheeseburger ($6.59) Veggie Sandwich ($3.69) Little Cajun fry ($3.09) Wanting something different, and never noticing this as a selection before, I tried their veggie sandwich. I was under the impression there would be a veggie patty, but no, this is basically the veggies you'd get for your burger, plus sauces. So how does a veggie sandwich taste? Surprisingly VERY good! The only thing it lacked was the protein, which all things considered was not bad at all. I'd happily get this sandwich again, but if you're really starving, maybe spring for some beef with your veggies. The fries here at five guys are great, and is the only place I know of where they give you more than what you ask for. Yep, a small fry here is a cup of fries, plus a TON of fry spillover in the bag. You can choose to ignore all the fries in the bag, but c'mon...eat up! I didn't try the burger, but this was devoured right in front of me. Located off of Lawrenceville Highway, in a small strip that includes Firehouse subs, Kochi Sushi, parking has never been a problem and there are multiple exits onto Lawrenceville hwy. A decent amount of seats are here for dining in also. We had a good time, but we've rarely had a bad time at a Five guys. You get fed a lot of food and the quality is usually really good! Check them out and come hungry.

Milkshake "Coffee"
Emani S.

I Today my daughter placed a pick up order at Five Guys in Tucker for a coffee milkshake and a vanilla milkshake. After I got home and she ate the whip cream off the coffee milkshake and noticed that there were chunks of instant coffee floating throughout the milkshake. It was disgusting and revolting. I called five guys and I told him about our experience and he said "that's how we make our coffee ice cream it wasn't made incorrectly". I was unable to go back to the five guys and get a remake of the milkshake because I already arrived home and had no plans of leaving again. I have never experienced anything like this at any other Five Guys !

I know some people just looove Five Guys and I will say that it tastes the same everywhere I've had it, but boy do I feel gross after eating there. This particular location was super fast! I got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, mushrooms, and pickles. My husband and I shared a large fry but it was waaay to much for 2. With his burger, mine, and the French fries it was $31 and change. The place was bumping on a Sunday afternoon with two tables outside, of which we snagged one.

I've been visiting this location for two years. The staff is courteous and friendly. I'll keep coming back for delicious fries and excellent service.

Five Guys is hands down one of the best fast food burger joints in the south. I'm a huge fan of their burgers and fries, as you may have noticed in my other reviews of other Five Guys locations. Burgers are always solid and fries come in abundance. While I do sometimes complain that orders sometimes come out pretty slowly, I can't deny the freshness of the ingredients, as every burger seems made to order. I shouldn't complain! This location is standard, with no complaints but nothing extremely standout, either. Parking can be a little difficult sharing the lot with many other restaurants and shops, but I've never had a problem. I can't give this location 5 stars, but I do love Five Guys.

I live around the area so have been coming here for years. Everyone knows that Five Guys has some of the best burgers and fries around. What makes me give this particular spot five stars however is that they are always great with service and quick with orders. Don't think I've ever had a bad experience or seen anything negative happen here. Great food, always cooked to perfection, and good service.

Just as I remembered. Look, if you are going to cook my burger ANYTHING less than well done, I need to be asked. And a microwaved hamburger makes the lettuce soggy so you can imagine how enjoyable it was. The music was BLARING so loud that you couldn't even hear the order numbers being called. They turned it down, slightly, but wow. I think ear plugs for their workers may be required by OSHA if they were inspected. Other than that it was $13 for mediocre ( one that I had to microwave ) burger and some potatoes.

Hair in patty.

Local 7 lives up to its name as an ideal local hangout. This is really a 4.5 star review. It's an…read moreeasy spot to take guests from out of town or just swing by for a casual weeknight dinner. The drinks are strong, the menu is varied, and the service pretty consistent. Occasionally when seated out on the patio my partner and I have waited a while for food or to see our server, but the food is always tasty. I don't fault the servers for this, they're all really accommodating, sometimes it's just that busy! The drinks are also consistently strong & delicious, our favorites are the Mason Jar Margarita and the Tucker Tea (bourbon & sweet tea). The prices for cocktails are excellent and I hope that doesn't change any time soon. For eats, my partner gets the Steak and Frites, and would like people to know that if you tell this kitchen you want it rare, it'll be very rare bordering on bloody, so if you want on the rare side without it mooing, order medium rare. The Fish & Chips are good, but I usually go for the chicken tenders because they're tender and well-seasoned, and the fries are really good too. I get it with the delicious house-made ranch. When I indulge in an appetizer it's the basket of fried jalapeños that pair great with the aforementioned ranch and is a great portion to share with friends. If you aren't into the spicy vibe you can get a basket that's half jalapeños, half pickles which is equally tasty. I've brought plenty of people here and from the salads to the burgers, they've been consistently happy with the food. For desserts, they change daily- check the big chalkboard on the wall for the day's offerings. They source them from Southern Sweets Bakery so you know they're delicious. Parking is a little iffy but not terrible, you have the options of Main St, the parking lot around back, or the strip of parking across the street and between those options it tends to be fairly easy to find a free spot. Give them a shot!

The fries remind me of the 90s Wendy's fries which were my favorite back in the day. Crispy enough on the outside, light and soft inside, and the perfect size and cut. Lightly salted. The chili cheese dog was on point. The split dog itself is a pretty generous size, good seasoning/flavor, & had the right texture to it; not too soft, not too chewy. It might actually be a sausage link; I didn't ask, so I'm not sure. I recommend ordering it with raw onions and add your own mustard. I like the dog more than the burger actually. The burger was solid. I got a double bacon with pepperjack, grilled onions, and jalapeños. Everything felt fresh. I think the burger could be better if the patties were a bit more crisp (cooked a bit longer or on higher heat for a harder sear and crust) and butter the buns before toasting them (they might already but maybe not enough butter to notice). The milkshake was the perfect consistency. Not so thick to where you can't drink it through a straw, and not too loose to where it's not a shake. The inside was clean, and the staff was friendly. You can order at a kiosk, or at the register. I used the kiosk, only because It's the first thing you see upon entry, so I thought I had to. The kiosk is missing some items though (unless I just couldn't find them), and the card reader was a little stubborn when trying to tap to pay. I could only find milkshakes as part of a kids meal on the kiosk so I ordered one separately at the register. Also, I was going to order cheese fries, but the kiosk only showed bacon cheese fries as an option. Nice spot and not too far of a drive for me. I recommend trying.

I prefer the thicker burgers over smash burgers. I think I like Shake Shack a little more just because the burgers are more unique and it's slightly juicier. The mushrooms were free so that's nice. The chicken sandwich was crunchy but smashed too thin. It was comparable to the chicken sandwich at Wingstop but less meaty. I had the tater tots with it that had the same exact texture and flavor from my work cafeteria. It's probably the same vendor. We ordered a side of fried pickles and they were kind of overpriced for the amount but the flavor was fine. It wasn't too sour or bland. Would I come here again? Yes, but only when I get a coupon.

Looks a little sketchy from outside and surrounding area, but don't worry it's a good place! Discovered this place via yelp, searching for a dinner location anout halfway between Decatur and Lawrenceville, as we were meeting friends and neither of us wanted to travel too far. Seeking economical choice with good food & drinks. Mission accomplished here! Wasn't our first choice. Dining on a Monday is hard, as so many restaurants are closed. But it turned out to be an excellent choice, as we loved our apps, drinks and meals. Had a nice size table with plenty of room in the quieter dining area in the back, away from the bar and TVs. There are TVs in back area as well, just not as many. Started with the nachos with beef chili, and the blackened brussel sprouts. Both were delicious and gone quickly! I had the cheeseburger salad. After all this deep fried, heavy southern food and grits, wanted something a little lighter. The portion was huge, and it was delicious. Onion rings were delicious. Huge plate for a side dish. Others had various wraps, and everyone loved their meals. Good tap beer selection. We had a variety of cold ones. If you're in the area looking for a good local, affordable place to have a meal or drinks, pick this spot. Its family friendly as well.
