I've never been to a bad Five Guys yet. This was another great location - excellent service and great quality food. We ordered the regular bacon burger and the bun-less bacon cheeseburger, both done all the way, cajun and regular fries, two drinks, and a coffee Oreo milkshake. Five Guys is one of those places that you can easily spend over $40, but unlike other places, at least you feel you got your money's worth in portion and quality. We were not disappointed. Flavorful, juicy burgers and a great shake. I love that there is the option to order the burger in a lettuce wrap too, as well as many sugar free drink options. I tried the sugar free cream soda, which was definitely better than a Diet Coke. Everything was great. Just don't make the mistake of ordering two LARGE fries like us! The amount of fries was large. They gave Mark a free drink to enjoy while waiting for the food to be cooked. The dining area was clean and spaced out. All employees were wearing masks. Visited February 2020 (PRE COVID) Who doesn't love five guys? We were hungry and had no place in mind. Literally we were just cruising around the area looking for dinner and saw the Five Guys sign lit up like a hunger beacon in the night. Of course we had to pay them a visit! Here's what we ordered: Little Cheeseburger ($6.59) Veggie Sandwich ($3.69) Little Cajun fry ($3.09) Wanting something different, and never noticing this as a selection before, I tried their veggie sandwich. I was under the impression there would be a veggie patty, but no, this is basically the veggies you'd get for your burger, plus sauces. So how does a veggie sandwich taste? Surprisingly VERY good! The only thing it lacked was the protein, which all things considered was not bad at all. I'd happily get this sandwich again, but if you're really starving, maybe spring for some beef with your veggies. The fries here at five guys are great, and is the only place I know of where they give you more than what you ask for. Yep, a small fry here is a cup of fries, plus a TON of fry spillover in the bag. You can choose to ignore all the fries in the bag, but c'mon...eat up! I didn't try the burger, but this was devoured right in front of me. Located off of Lawrenceville Highway, in a small strip that includes Firehouse subs, Kochi Sushi, parking has never been a problem and there are multiple exits onto Lawrenceville hwy. A decent amount of seats are here for dining in also. We had a good time, but we've rarely had a bad time at a Five guys. You get fed a lot of food and the quality is usually really good! I Today my daughter placed a pick up order at Five Guys in Tucker for a coffee milkshake and a vanilla milkshake. After I got home and she ate the whip cream off the coffee milkshake and noticed that there were chunks of instant coffee floating throughout the milkshake. It was disgusting and revolting. I called five guys and I told him about our experience and he said "that's how we make our coffee ice cream it wasn't made incorrectly". I was unable to go back to the five guys and get a remake of the milkshake because I already arrived home and had no plans of leaving again. I know some people just looove Five Guys and I will say that it tastes the same everywhere I've had it, but boy do I feel gross after eating there. This particular location was super fast! I got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, mushrooms, and pickles. My husband and I shared a large fry but it was waaay to much for 2. Five Guys is hands down one of the best fast food burger joints in the south. I'm a huge fan of their burgers and fries, as you may have noticed in my other reviews of other Five Guys locations. Burgers are always solid and fries come in abundance. While I do sometimes complain that orders sometimes come out pretty slowly, I can't deny the freshness of the ingredients, as every burger seems made to order. I shouldn't complain! This location is standard, with no complaints but nothing extremely standout, either. Parking can be a little difficult sharing the lot with many other restaurants and shops, but I've never had a problem. I can't give this location 5 stars, but I do love Five Guys. read more

Just as I remembered. Look, if you are going to cook my burger ANYTHING less than well done, I need to be asked. And a microwaved hamburger makes the lettuce soggy so you can imagine how enjoyable it was. The music was BLARING so loud that you couldn't even hear the order numbers being called. I ordered for delivery through Uber Eats. I ordered a burger with two patties ($9.95). Yep, almost $10 for a burger and a little fry (extra $ of course). I ordered mayo, onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard and mushrooms. There was ONE pattie, no mayo, some grilled onion (not what I wanted), no lettuce, no tomato, no mustard and I THINK I saw a couple of mushrooms. OH, and some bacon that I didn't want. I believe there was some ketchup which I would never put on a burger. I got a basic dried out nothing burger that I could have purchased from Wendy's for much less. My receipt clearly has what I ordered but somehow it just wasn't translated into the burger that I wanted. The fries were pretty good. And Uber Eats delivery was great. I won't be back. read more

This is always a pleasant place to walk into. No matter the location. Greeted with a smile. I ordered a kosher hot dog with my choice of free toppings. The dog is split and cooked on the griddle! Next best thing to a charcoal grill. Single cheeseburger with grilled onion and mushroom, lettuce, mustard, BBQ sauce. I love watching my food cook and the whole assembly of my order. When I'm craving Five Guy's burger, this is the location I go to. Located off Lawrenceville Hwy in Tucker, GA, this location is in a smaller, newer strip of shops. There is parking in the front and side of the shop. While there is a good amount of parking, on busy days especially during the dinner rush, parking can be tight. Service here has always been friendly, efficient and fast. I've never had to wait too long for my food. Five Guy's burgers are made to order, so there will always be some waiting, but they do it so efficiently that the wait time is minimal. On busy days the wait may be a little longer but not too long where I get antsy. The location is not large, but there is a good amount of seating. It is also always clean and I never feel grossed out in there. If you've never had one of their burgers... well, I don't know where you've been. Their burgers are extremely juicy and addictive. You can choose the toppings from the usual lettuce, tomatoes to grilled mushrooms and onions. They also let you get your burger wrapped in lettuce or in a bowl without the bun. This is great if you're doing a low carb diet. The fries are perfect and I love both the regular and the cajun flavored fries. You really can't go wrong with any of their food and this location makes them just the right way. Literally i'm only leaving a review for their awesome employee that I just couldn't help but compliment. Sure their food is great and all, but this one employee really is their order winner. I think his name was William? He was working the register, and greeted us in the MOST pleasant and unique way. His positive attitude and work ethic made us feel important and cared for. When he wasn't busy at the register, he would help his coworkers by bringing them supplies from the back and also cleaned the tables and customer areas. I love Five Guys burgers and their fries. I have been to the location off Chamblee-Tucker Road in Chamblee and to many other locations. Yesterday was my first visit to the location closest to my home, the Lawrenceville Hwy store. We had just finished a hike and I was craving a burger and strawberry shake. I prefer the shakes at Shake Shack but driving over to the Perimeter Mall area seemed unnecessary when I knew a delicious burger and shake were nearby. I placed an order on the app so I could get it faster and avoid being inside for too long. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell. It was very unappetizing. An overwhelming smell of grease. Not the good smell of food cooking. Second thing I noticed was that the store looked unkempt and dirty. They were friendly and gave me a loud welcome when I walked in but that cannot make up for how gross it seemed inside. Third, everyone was helping themselves to the fountain drinks. When I recently visited the Dalton, GA location I was really impressed with how clean and careful they were being. That location is always sparkling clean and smells like good food cooking when you enter. My family lives in Dalton so I have been to this location a lot. At that location, they had someone handling the drinks for all the customers, no self-serve. This was a great idea. The worst part of all was that when the guy went to make my shake, he informs me they are out of strawberries!!! That's the whole reason I wanted to pick up food to go. I tried a chocolate shake, thinking I was making a safe choice. It was so gross. It tasted like Hershey's cocoa powder. All in all, a completely disappointing experience. I will not return to this location. I'm typically willing to give a place a second chance, but the smell and the sloppy, dirty interior was too unappetizing for me to take a chance on this location again. read more

Just went this Saturday and I have to say the employees did not care at all about customers orders. The employees were rushed and were putting orders in without looking at the order details. Even if they did they just glanced through it saw what we ordered and put whatever they wanted inside the burger and called it a day. Very horrible service. And others were even looking inside their bag and checking their burgers looking back at their ticket and got up to complain about it. Again very terrible service and they could have done better. Went to this location a few weeks ago, and it was the WORST Five Guys we've ever been to, by far!! It was not very busy, but most of the tables were dirty. We had to wipe one down ourselves. The girl who took the order was friendly, but that was the only good thing that happened there. The burger was greasy and disgusting! It didn't even taste like a Five Guys burger, and we have eaten a LOT of Five Guys burgers. The "large fry" was more like a small at best. The burger was so bad that my daughter actually got sick from it. First time ever! The condiments tasted like they had all been left out for a month. You gotta love a place where the "regular" burger is a double patty. That being said, I'm definitely a fan of this place. This is just a solid burger joint. Delicious burgers, fantastic fries, peanuts to munch on while you're waiting for your number to be called. I had the cheeseburger with sauteed onions, lettuce, ketchup, mustard and pickles. Kept it simple. I know the sauteed mushrooms are good as well (the wife's had those before). For the money, QT has a better hot dog. 5 Guys boasts their hot dog as being kosher style which really doesnt mean anything except that is all beef.. QT's hot dogs are not kosher style, but they are all beef also and much cheaper. You can get 2 hot dogs and a drink for under $ 5.00. At 5 guys, it will cost you $ 10.99 including tax in Dekalb County. The hot dogs at 5 guys isnt a bad hotdog, just not worth it at $ 3.99 each. The hamburgers have gotten smaller in the last year or so. The French fries tasted like the oil needed changing.
