I felt rushed to order, but felt confident about the smashburger taco. I then royally screwed up by ordering a mini vanilla concrete mixer with caramel. It was $5 and had barely any caramel. I should have gotten a small sundae with caramel sauce. As for the taco, it was super salty. I know that since I don't eat fast food often, my tastebuds for sodium is on high alert now, but this was borderline inedible it was that salty for me. I'm sure I'd return for a quick custard if the need presented itself.

They have something like a large garden gazebo or something that has high-top mismatched tables and chairs. The structure you're eating in is open air - it doesn't have windows, and the walls are only half walls. In the winter they put plastic over the open parts to try to keep the wind out. This place gets five stars anyway. The food is that good. In fact, it's so good, that if rating on just food quality alone, this is my favorite restaurant in Summerville. I've had nearly everything on the menu at Tiki Taco, and I've loved every bite of it. It's fantastic. I'm not such an authority that I can tell you how authentic it is, or that they do this really crucial thing that only "real" Mexican chefs know how to do.
