Cheeseburger, All the way!
Nate J.

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and there was no line, SCORE! We were greeted right away and our order was taken. The restaurant was very clean, no peanut shells on the floor a def plus! I tried to get some unsweet tea and it was like pure tea no water, ewwww.... We got our drinks and took a seat, and within a few minutes our number was called! Unwrapping the burgers got us excited as there was melted cheese and grease all over the place mmm! First we had to rearrange the toppings as everything was on one side (no biggie) but the first bite underwhelming.... the bread was already kinda soggy, the burgers for being made on a flat top they tasted more like they were boiled or steamed... No char, no real flavor IMO. The fries were pretty good, a nice mix of crunchy and tender fries. All in all for the price this would not be my first choice for my next burger.

I honestly don't mind paying 10ish dollars for a burger but the quality of these has gone soooo down. This patty is smaller than a McDonald's burger at this point and that's that I ordered a normal cheeseburger lol.. the fries were alright - pretty well done too although they were generous with the portion. We asked for extra of some of our toppings while ordering and they looked at us like we had five heads so we just said never mind. Overall, mediocre and will just be sticking to my normal "fast food" burger joint Whataburger or Shake Shack which have much better quality and tasting burgers.

Pictures do no justice, but this burger was flavorful, juicy, and delicious.

I have not ate at a Five Guys restaurant in forever (2013), and I can't believe it's taken me forever to eat at one again. My burger and fries were delicious. I love how seasoned my fries were. Customer service was excellent. I want to come back to try the their milkshake.

Come on. Price is outrageous in this joint. I'm not eating in Saltgrass or anything but a burger joint. Burgers and fries are good but I don't think I want to pay for 20+ for a meal (BTW they don't have a meal). Bacon cheese dog is served in melted square cheese and strips of bacon (pic below). I'll stick to McDonald's or Burger King.

This Five Guys should seriously reconsider rebranding as Fry Guys because hot dang, y'all. Five Guys has been in San Antonio for a hot second, but with all the happening hamburger joints in SA, it's really hard to justify going to a Chicago eatery over any of my favorite local spots. That said, I had this urge for some natural cut fries yesterday, vaguely remembered the Five Guys close to my house has them, and squeal-tired my whole way over to pick up a Little Cajun order. How had I never had these with Cajun seasoning before?? The real draw for these fries? You order a small and the Five Guys guys with hearts of gold pour extras all over that greased-up brown bag. After the last bite, you can bet I rubbed the inside of that paper sack all over my face because that seasoning is exceptionally delicious AND exfoliating. Two birds, one stone, mah dudes. Two birds, one stone. So while the burger may not be my favorite, the fries are going to keep me coming back because a good fry is worth its salt.

My bill for two burgers, fries, and drinks.

My daughter and I went out for some daddy daughter time as she picked this place out, and I myself have had a burger from this place but it was years ago. This go round I came back with a burger in mind which was the grilled cheese burger (it's not on the menu you have to ask for it) I also added lettuce, onions, pickles, and Mayo it was fucking delicious if I go back I'll add tomatoes which I probably will as my daughter loved her bacon double cheese burger and she asked me this morning when we go again to make sure that she puts the onions on top of her burger instead having them on the side lol, and the fries that came with the meals are pretty damn good as well I got the Cajun fries, and she got the regular fries. The service was good, they are really friendly there the burgers, and fries where prepared fast and to order. The ambiance was like a burger diner should be and was very clean. But the reason for the three stars is due to the bill I paid almost 50.00$ for two meals and for the amount of food you are getting that is steep as I know of a place not far from this location that I would pay this price and get a burger that is as good and would leave with left overs, and feeling better about what I spent. Bottom line the food is good but to expensive.

Cute little pre-food snack!

Took my nephews and they liked the burgers. Though one nephew did say that it tasted like Burger King burgers. Fries are good.

I live close to a Dairy Queen and never go because of the hassle getting in and out of there. Easy in, easy out at this one and also no matter what crazy time I have gone and no matter how much I change what's on my item, it has ALWAYS BEEN CORRECT! *5 stars for this place. Now I'm here to talk about the wings which we all know are chicken nuggets with or without sauce. I got two sauced ones to try. First the sweet n spicy which I really enjoyed...not too big a kick in spice. Just enough. Interesting flavor reminded me of Chinese food. Really enjoyed. * 3 1/2 stars Then the buffalo...OMG I don't know if mine soaked in more or what but this burnt both my mouth and stomach and I spent a lot of time in the bathroom that night and the next day. Did they add something different to it? I'm not a buffalo wimp. I've had them at the original Anchor Bar in NY while coming from Niagara Falls. I've even had them at the San Antonio location and lots of other places. Now I usually dip in blue cheese to cool them off. That wasn't offered but I tried ranch and cream gravy and nothing helped. Now you can get the wings not sauced and just dip. I've had the buffalo dip before and it was not as on fire as that sauce. So you might want to try un sauced in that flavor and dip. Now I think you get more sauce when they come sauced but not sure on that. I can't give those wings more than a *2 star since they tore me up so bad. I wonder do they pre-sauce these and does it intensify as it sits? No idea but I'm not getting that wing flavor again. I've also really enjoyed the return of the Monterrey Melt...I love that burger but I often change out the bun for Texas toast but I do that with a number of hamburgers. I've had it both ways this time...and always a *5 star to me. Sorry no photos this time. I was a hungry girl and forgot to stop and take them.

The team working at that time, especially the two employees taking orders outside, were absolutely phenomenal. They were professional, patient, and incredibly courteous. What stood out most was that they did not rush me at all while I placed my order. In the past, I've felt hurried at other locations, including Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, 10938 Culebra Rd, so this level of attentiveness truly made a difference. Their positive energy was contagious and genuinely uplifting. It's clear they take pride in their work and care about creating a great customer experience. The atmosphere they created was welcoming, efficient, and upbeat, exactly what great service should feel like. This team represents the brand exceptionally well. Thank you for making my Sunday afternoon such a great one!

Eat the chicken by itself, and tell me it's amazing. You can't because it's not. It's bland. The fries the same, dip them in the sauce, great, no sauce, meh! The toast is great though! Heck go get some strips from Popeyes, then buy sauce at heb or Walmart.

It might be but I can't tell or judge appropriately. If you follow my reviews, you know I have been hunting for which is the best fish sandwich. There was confusion in the app trying to order and then more confusion at the store, so I ended up with a dry sandwich with no tartar even after paying for a tartar sauce. I've given this whole thing a lot of thought and I think Popeyes in this area ran out and didn't want to reorder a seasonal thing so close to cut off. A couple of weeks ago the app showed tartar and a place to select it. But does let you select and pay for an extra package of it. Currently it says no tartar on the app. Then the shrimp was supposed to be available in the same flavors as the wings. Again changed in the app and still posted on the menu board. They have no way at the restaurant to select flavor. OK enough about minor problems, just what to explain why my rating is lower then it might have been. The sandwich was dry with only pickle on it but the bun was toasted and nice flavor. I can see why it's rated so highly as it was a nicely cooked, juicy piece of chicken and just a squeeze of lemon or that tartar would have brought it up higher. Maybe next year. Now the surf n turf. I've had the fried shrimp before OK but nothing special nor nothing wrong. I'd never had the tenders before. I'm a on the bone mostly dark meat girl. I really enjoyed the tenders. I give them an A.
