We ordered a double kraut & mustard meal- which was as it should be, fries were ok, but it was the Polish sandwich that was reminiscent of childhood kolbassy sandwiches in Pittsburgh. The flavorful slightly spicy sausage had very little fat, it was sliced in half, served on thick slices of soft rye seeded bread, with a thin layer of mustard, slice of cheese and a crisp dill pickle. It was heavenly- I'm sorry that I didn't snap a photo. I just read online that they are known for the shakes- which no doubt we would've also enjoyed. I'll be on the lookout for Wienerschnitzel in my future travels.

Salty fries can ruin a meal and hours later you're drinking from a fire hose to manage the salty aftermath. Not these fries- they were crispy, golden, crunchy and not salty. My only issue was how long it took to get the food at 1pm on a Thursday- it was over 30 minutes.

I think it is still Corn dogs, but I could be wrong... While their drink menu is second to none, the food is sometimes hit or miss. I have found after continuing to be a patron in the late evening (when almost all other fast food is closed) that fried food and basic options tend to be the best. The cheeseburgers are still lack luster but it is clear that whoever has been managing the clean up crew is doing g a way better job of maintaining their deep fryers and as such the consistency add quality has been improving over time. The service is generally slow, and even though it makes sense because of the variety and specificity you can give to your orders (which they are pretty consistent at getting right) , I still wish it wouldn't take 15 minutes to get though the drive through line to pay. Depending on the day and time, it has been MUCH longer. All that aside, I feel that the night crew's customer Service has improved in the last year and it seems they no longer try to pass off food that should have been distressed (I.e. hotdogs way past their prime) to their drive though customers anymore. Overall, Sonic is a good late night option, and also a decent happy hour drink stop. I wouldn't choose them before 9 pm as a dinner option because there are just better choices. These burgers are absolutely delicious and massive. I couldn't finish my burger and was only able to eat a few fries. They should really put a warning up that it's a lot of food. The fries size is not very accurate as they fill the cup size full of fries and then dump in about twice as much into the bag. It's a ton of fries! I think Red Robin is the only place that can compare but Five Guys is much quicker service. I'd recommend this place to anyone that likes a good burger, although the name is a little off putting. read more

Five Guys is a great place to eat! The cheeseburgers and fries were delicious, with the fries coming in large portions that left us fully satisfied. The atmosphere was nice and clean, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Although it's a bit pricey, the quality of the food and the excellent service make it worth it. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I'll definitely be coming back to Five Guys for more of their amazing food and great service. Oh boy... I have been going here way too often. It is really really good. They had some hiccups in the beginning with the burgers being a little too smashed and sloppy, but they have it figured out now. Definitely give it a try. Oh and the fries are huge, you can definitely share a regular between two or three people. I wish they would have a smaller size because it is just way too much, so I normally end up just eating the peanuts instead. read more

Not only did I love it my kids did also. Loved how they have free peanuts and we were allowed to throw the shells on floor. This was by far best burger I have had in a long long time ( Bacon Cheese all the way). One large fry was enough for 4 of us. This place is a must and you can count on it that I will return soon. I can envision a place like this in backwoods country away from civilization. What's more amazing is that it's in the middle of basically a city, retaining that old charm in a great way. Was told that hamburgers are pressed in house and can tell something different about them. Everything seems very high quality and also made from scratch much as they can. The whole place was fabulous. Fries don't come with salt, easy enough to add. Had bacon BBQ burger (saved bacon for cat), and seriously one is the best burgers have EVER had, ever. They even have a foot long hot dog, not on the menu. After so many recent duds am extremely happy that there still are great and affordable places to eat. You guys, and gals, ROCK!
