Food is decent, but the lack of cleanliness at this restaurant is appalling. The floor was so dirty with grease and grime that I almost slipped walking to the women's room. And that wasn't the worst of it, as I walked up to the women's restroom I could smell how dirty it was from outside of the door. The floors in there were even worse, and the drain on the floor was green with mildew and grime. It smelled like someone put a tiny bit of cleaner into a dirty bucket of water and sloshed it on the floor. It had me seriously concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen and safety of my food. Seriously, Five Guys, don't let your disgusting restaurant appearance overshadow your food. I don't plan on going back and cautioned many co-workers to steer clear. I'm very disappointed especially given the price of the food. We got out cheap at $25 and should've taken that down the street to Chick Fil A where they have decent standards for their customers. read more

I've been here before but it's obviously gone downhill in the past years. Even though I saw the ratings were now low, I decided to go anyway. I was in the mood for a good cheeseburger. The food was not fresh and not prepared well. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The meat was hot but that was basically the only decent part. Both pieces of cheese were cold and not melted. The were also put on the burger partially in and partially out. Therefore I had to rebuild this burger. It was going to happen regardless because all of the pickles were stacked on top of each other in the middle. (Who eats a burger like that?) Also, half of the lettuce was old and wilted. None of it had any crisp or crunch to it. The fries weren't much better. I ordered the Cajun fries, and while the seasoning was good, they fries themselves were not. Most of them were cold and many seemed like they had been sitting for a while. They were soggy and limp. Bottom line, I don't think I will be coming here again. Lunch is an absolute disorganized mess. I ordered one cheeseburger. That's it. No fries, nothing fancy, just a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and onions. I had the pleasure of watching the guy two spots behind me in line, who ordered five burgers, sit down with his friends, eat and leave before my one burger was even ready. When I politely asked why my burger took so long I was told to "f**** off". Yes, that really happened and NO I will not be returning. The burgers are good but not nearly that good. read more

Stopped by here Saturday and picked up a bacon cheeseburger and fries for the road. The burger was good...I think there are other semi-fast-food options at least as good, if not better, but it was good. The fries were very, very good...just short of great, I'd say. They were pretty well seasoned (I'll try cajun next time) and quite tasty...I am not totally sure what it is that kept them from sneaking into the realm of greatness, but something did...but they certainly did knock on the door. Once I got home I understood why I paid a pretty hefty amount for a regular order of fries...like Mooyah, they give you a small container of fries with bunches of extras in the sack. Bunches, I say. All-in-all, not a bad meal at all. The value, though, left me a little flat. I got just what I mentioned above, and it was right at $10. No drink, regular fries, and bacon cheeseburger. I will most likely be back, but at least then I'll know what to expect n that arena. One other note...they were quite busy when I visited, and the staff was definitely busting their humps. It seemed to me, just via casual observation, that the food prep area could be laid out better to help the staff work without ending up constantly avoiding each other, but I'm no industrial engineer. I did appreciate the fact that the food prep area was right there to see, but it definitely contributed to the noise level in the place, as well. I think this place is pretty average. I mean if you're wanting Five Guys burgers and fries they won't disappoint you here. The service is fast and the staff are okay. Some are friendly some are not. The place is clean and I thought they would have more peanuts laying around but there are only two boxes at the counter. I think the burgers are good and if you get everything on it it fills you up. I also think they can make the fries a bit more crispier but it's not bad. read more

Nice, small, diner-styled place with good, juicy burgers full of flavor and fries that are made fresh from real potatoes. They actually get fresh potatoes daily to make the fries and they proudly display the supplier for the day (which is different most of the time that I go there). The price may put you off at first but when you get your food you'll understand that it's very much worth it. A regular order of fries can be split between 2 people since they make it a point of overflowing the container so it fills a good portion of the bag as well. I almost shudder to think how excessive the large order is. The standard burgers come with 2 meat patties and everything is cooked to order making everything taste fresh. They have a great selection of fountain drinks (I find it rare to see Cherry Coke, but I was really happy since I love it with a good burger). Fairly decent music selection most of the time as well. read more

hey yelppies,yep it's time for another review, thought i'd get this on in during half-time (go cowboys)well,stopped in at five guys famous burgers and fries yesterday, and let me tell you,out-of-this-world,my first time there so i had to get a feel of the place,upon walking in you'll notice how clean the place is,and i absolutely loved the pallets of potatoes on the floor,the color scheme is red and white (classic),very relaxed atmosphere, but very busy,when i got to the counter, i mentioned to the very nice young man that it was my first time in,he gave a big smile and explained that you build your on burger,just tell them what you want on it,and build from there,so i got the cheeseburger, classic fries,and a vanilla shake, the burger is all hand patted meat,and all of your veggies are fresh,but the fries,like the burger are to die for,and are seasoned to perfection, the shake i could actually get thru the straw,that is without sucking long enough to give myself a headache, you know what i mean,we've all ordered that shake that will take you the better part of an hour to get the first sip thru the straw,well i'm glad to report this isn't one of those shakes,and it's fantastic, the staff was friendly and polite as could be,but you better pick the time that you go because not long after getting our food the place was super busy,now i'm going to tell you,it's a little more expensive than your regular burger and fries joint but really well worth it,i urge you to stop in and try it,i think you'll really like it,well that's it on the latest trip,bon appétit.... read more

after hearing all the hype about this place, i was sorely disappointed. the family in front of me took forever to order, which was irritating because five guys had about a dozen people behind the counter but only one person taking orders? maybe i've got high standards but i say that's ridiculous when the place is packed at noon on a saturday. the regular cheeseburger comes with two patties and when you order it "all the way," you'll find that the bun gets soggy real quick and it's hard to keep the burger together. to their credit, the patties are well cooked and juicy but two of 'em, plus grilled onions and mushrooms, will quickly overwhelm and defeat the thin bottom bun. i ordered the little cheeseburger, which was more than enough food for my fat kid self to enjoy since it's pretty much the equivalent of a normal cheeseburger at most other fast food joints. their cajun fries are seasoned deliciously but i wasn't really crazy about it (my personal preference with fries is overly crunchy and with minimal potato texture)... if you're a fan of fries where you can tell that it came from a potato, you'll proably like 'em. hopefully they pay more attention to the seating areas since all of the vacated tables were dirty and crying out for some attention. i'm glad i tried it, but i don't think i'll return when i'm craving a burger. read more
