Clean, very well laid out. Dining inside or out. We ate outside so the doggo could hang out with us. The choices were over the top. You had better have given this some thought before trying to order. Seriously, then remembering the list of toppings? Every time I've been there, I have been delighted with my order. I'm adding new stuff now. The milkshakes are perfect. Yep. Haven't been to this restaurant since the pandemic. Finally, I had a chance to stop by. They are called Five Guys, but we only counted four guys in the restaurant the day of our visit. Well.... Four guys were enough to provide excellent service We ordered two burgers (a cheeseburger and a bacon burger) and a small fries. The burgers were quite good; packed with fresh meat and ingredients. The flavor was also there. The only problem was we took them home to eat. By the time we were ready to eat, the bread of the burgers was soggy; visually not very appetizing. Wish the sauce was thicker and not ruined the bread. The small fries turned out to be half a bag. Not sure what happened. Could have fed six. Do appreciate the free peanuts read more

Five Guys is a good chain burger joint imo. You know what you're getting and the quality is consistent. I particularly like this location because the staff are always pleasant with a ready smile. Even the cooks generally look up and smile a friendly welcome. And with the last insane two years who doesn't need a smile. For those that aren't burger fans they make a good hot dog with great toppings. You can also get cheese sandwiches or veggie sandwiches. There's always a ready supply of roasted peanuts that you can snack on while wiring for your grub. Free of course. The potato's are fresh cut for the fries and there's a sign letting you know where the potatoes come from. I like the soda choices. But, they are under staffed and not well trained. Today, I asked for my fries crispy- I got them cold and soggy. Butger over done Garbage over flowing Tables not wiped down 3 guys behind the counter- 1 was clearly overwhelmed with the other 2 untrained staff. I love Five Guys. I used to live in DC and it became a quick late night go to for me at my Metro stop. When I'm in Petaluma for an errand I'll occasionally stop by for a Little Cheeseburger and Cajun Fries. If you've never experience the Cajun Fries you must. It's not on the menu. Because we are in the midst of the Covid pandemic, you need to either order online or in the shop. We ordered our food at the shop and took it right outside to eat at a table. We had never been to Five Guys. We both ordered the smaller sized burger. The larger burger has two patties. The "little" has one patty. The "little" burger was plenty of food for me. We also ordered a regular sized order of fries which was plenty for both of us. Both the burger and fries were hot and fresh. My daughter had a shake which was also very good. I liked almost everything about this place. It may be a bit pricey though. I liked this place and I will be back. read more

Not even close to being on the same level as In'&'Out. I would give this place three stars had they actually been able to get my order right. I've been here twice, probably four or five months apart and each time they forget a topping or two. It's literally spelled out for the line cooks on the order receipt so I don't understand what the issue is. It's not like I'm going to demand that they re-do the order either - just get it right the first time around. They plaster the walls with praises from food critics, but ultimately I have to pay an outrageous $20 for a burger that's "like" an In'&'Out burger with the added uncertainty of getting my order right. The buns were soggy, the whole presentation was a sloppy mess in general. Basically what it looks like when you make a burger at home for the first time - blindfolded, but much, much more expensive. Don't bother getting a large portion of fries either. They are ALL large portions since they pad the bottom of the bag with fries anyhow. read more

Fries, drink came out to almost $20. I asked for the fries well done "crispy" the lady argued & she said "they always crispy" I said "ok I hope so.." when the fries came out they were hot but limp! Burger= Sad, had chopped up bacon not whole pieces was sloppy and the bun is too thin. It fell apart after about halfway. All in all. I will not be returning. I've eaten burgers from multiple 5 Guys locations and this one is honestly the best tasting burger I've had. The manager was very kind and even turned down the Air Conditioning when we pointed out (didn't ask) that it was cold in the store. Is it the best burger in town?, No, but it's not the worst either. Real meat and the French fries are decent. It's def over priced, 2 burgers, medium fry and two shakes was about $34. Since I'm from the East Coast we have these everywhere. I would give it higher stars if they were priced better. I'd rather spend this much and go to JJ's in Novato, which is a huge step up in my opinion. Wait staff were pleasent, food was ready in a decent amount of time and of course the kids love the free peanuts. Shakes we're good as well, the coffee shake had a good amount of coffee flavor. I don't want to compare it to In and Out, as others have, since I don't get the fascination with the place. To me In and Out is a cheap McDonald's. read more

Never again. $70 for 5 burgers, 5 fry orders, 1 soda, 1 shake. The only thing that didn't have a problem was the fountain soda. The order was to go. They gave me the shake (wasn't for me, I was delivering it) right away and it was already runny. I should've handed it back and asked for a fresh one when my order was ready had I known I would stand there for 10 minutes. I don't mind waiting for good food but this was not good food. I watched them put the cups of fries in the bag and then dump on another shovel full of fries. I don't know if the fries all started out limp, soggy and greasy but that's how they were when we got home. Not enjoyable at all. The burgers were piled in the bag so that when we got home and unwrapped them they were squashed and misshapen. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is the burgers tasted just OK and the order was absolutely correct. We were hungry so we ate the burgers. Maybe if you got the order to eat there you could avoid the squished burger but I have to wonder if the fries would still be as terrible. I will never go again. When I walked to the counter they were putting away their tips and took a few minutes to take my order. The burger took too long to come. The quality of the burger made the difference. The burger did not look or taste like a typical fast food burger. The patty was thick and the produce on the burger was high quality. The bread was fluffy and delicious. The burger is a little more expensive than In n Out but well worth the extra cost. This is a popular chain in the east coast and I hope they continue spread throughout California. read more

Ordered- He asked for a Bacon cheese burger with jalapenos and I asked for a bacon cheeseburger and got asked if I wanted a single or double. But the kid taking the order didn't ask my guy. Stopped in for a quick burger no bun and to wrap it in lettuce, and they actually call it "no bun-wrap." I asked for a mini and they just means it's one patty. You can add many fixings at no extra charge. Lettuce, pickles, ketchup, etc. Overall it was tasty, but they put way too much lettuce around it. The burgers at this place smells so good in fresh because they are! The guys and ladies there always get it right and it is perfectly cooked. It's pretty rare to find something that feels so old fashioned and a good way at a restaurant so fast. It does take a few minutes because it's a real burger with real meat and it's real fresh, but the people there work really hard to make it as fast as I can be.
