the interior of a fast food restaurant

Haven't been to this restaurant since the pandemic. Finally, I had a chance to stop by. They are called Five Guys, but we only counted four guys in the restaurant the day of our visit. Well.... Four guys were enough to provide excellent service We ordered two burgers (a cheeseburger and a bacon burger) and a small fries. The burgers were quite good; packed with fresh meat and ingredients. The flavor was also there. The only problem was we took them home to eat. By the time we were ready to eat, the bread of the burgers was soggy; visually not very appetizing. Wish the sauce was thicker and not ruined the bread. The small fries turned out to be half a bag. Not sure what happened. Could have fed six. Do appreciate the free peanuts

A couple of the friendly guys who work here!

Five Guys is a good chain burger joint imo. You know what you're getting and the quality is consistent. I particularly like this location because the staff are always pleasant with a ready smile. Even the cooks generally look up and smile a friendly welcome. And with the last insane two years who doesn't need a smile. For those that aren't burger fans they make a good hot dog with great toppings. You can also get cheese sandwiches or veggie sandwiches. There's always a ready supply of roasted peanuts that you can snack on while wiring for your grub. Free of course. The potato's are fresh cut for the fries and there's a sign letting you know where the potatoes come from. I like the soda choices. It's the only place I've found in town that offers diet /caffeine free Coke.

Best premium fast food burger in Petaluma. Don't listen to Dan the punisher! Order the fries. Peanut butter milkshake is magic.

Large fry, reg fry and two burgers. No extra fries at all and cup not even filled.

Worst Five Guys Ever!!! Cashier said the large fry was for three people. We ordered a regular as well for someone in a separate part of the car. They didn't even fill the cup much less put any in the bag.

I love Five Guys. I used to live in DC and it became a quick late night go to for me at my Metro stop. When I'm in Petaluma for an errand I'll occasionally stop by for a Little Cheeseburger and Cajun Fries. If you've never experience the Cajun Fries you must. It's not on the menu. Fresh cut fries drenched in Cajun spice. Sweet baby Jesus they are life changing. Also the service is super friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Yummmmmmmm!!

Would have given two stars if the burger was decent. Do yourself a favor DO NOT COME HERE... especially if you have had and enjoy Five Guys. (Worst part is that I tipped before receiving food). Ambiance was average, minus the fancy soda dispenser I have come to expect.

The Main guy here has been most professional with me as a customer and also his staff. Good to see someone in charge who treats his staff right. The burgers are bomb. And the fries are delicious and plenty. Great experience today here at five guys. My go to burger spot and grilled cheese

They were polite, respectful, and went and sat down to eat. A short time later, when my daughter's friend went to fill her soda, the manager accused her of stealing soda. She explained that her friend had just purchased the soda for her. Instead of checking the transaction or simply asking for clarification, the manager followed the girls outside and accused them again of stealing. The girls explained that they had just purchased the cups directly from her. The manager continued to lecture them about stealing and never acknowledged that she may have been mistaken. The girls were so uncomfortable and embarrassed that they quickly finished their fries and left. After I called to explain what happened, the manager told me that she believed she had given my daughter's friend a cup for water and that she had filled that cup with soda. That simply was not what happened. My daughter paid $6.59 through Apple Cash, which is exactly what she paid for the two sodas. The other girl's mother also confirmed her daughter's separate purchase of the milkshake and fries through Apple Pay. I understand that mistakes and misunderstandings happen. What is incredibly disappointing is that instead of simply checking the transaction and realizing she had misunderstood the situation, the manager accused two polite kids of stealing, followed them outside, and lectured them as though they were criminals. She did apologize to us as parents, but what really mattered was how she treated the girls in the moment. They deserved an apology too. My daughter used to go to Acme Burger frequently with her friends. After this experience, she told me, "We'll go get food somewhere else now for sure." I don't blame her. A misunderstanding could have been resolved in seconds. The way these girls were treated turned it into an incredibly upsetting, humiliating experience.

I went with the barbecue platter and my boyfriend went with two slices of pepperoni pizza. While the pizza was decent, but nothing to write home about, I would never order that barbecue platter again. First of all, the mac & cheese that it came with was more like overcooked buttered noodles without seasoning. The pulled pork and the coleslaw tasted old as if it had been sitting out at room temp. I also thought it was weird that they gave me potato chips as another side, but to eat their own. The only thing I actually enjoyed were the side of pickles and who knows if those were even made or from a jar. It was cold outside, so we decided to sit under the enclosed portion of the building and flies swarmed us - they were everywhere and we were continuously swatting our hands around to try to get any relief. We waited in quite a long line to order, but it went fast, and the staff was doing a great job processing all of the food orders coming in. We decided to order a tri-tip sandwich in sauce and a pulled pork sandwich. Plus a large order of baked beans. When we got outside, there was a table available. voila! Just what we needed. As for the food, I was expecting epic BBQ from this place given how consistently busy it is every time I'm near. Maybe my expectations were just too high. Our sandwiches were large. In fact they were large enough to split. But, they were just sort of disappointing. They didn't have a ton of flavor and the sauce was a little bit ketchupy. I would also be shocked if I ever learned that those baked beans did not come right from a can. (My bad for ordering beans without seeing them first or asking if they were housemade.) I do wish I had remembered to photograph the food, but alas, I did not. Overall, if someone else wanted to go eat at Lombardi's while I was in Petaluma, I would go with them.
