This place is....awesome. For a fast food place. I dropped by for lunch the other day, since I was in the area. And boy, am I glad I did. It's easily the best burger I've had in the two months I've been in MA. The staff was friendly and great. The cashier waited patiently for me as I stared dumbfoundedly at the menu and tried to decide what to get. I ended up ordering a jr bacon burger in a lettuce wrap + grilled onions + grilled mushrooms + BBQ sauce. (love the fact that all toppings are free). The burger itself was so juicy, delicious, and full of flavor, that I didnt really want to talk while i was eating it because i was trying to savor the moment. The fries were pretty good as well- a bit different from your typical fast-food french fries. And they give you a pretty good amount as well. I wish there were a Five Guys closer to my place. But then again, if that were to happen, I would find myself going there multiple times a week and gaining double digits in no time. But yeah, give this place a try if you havent done so already! read more

We haven't been to FG in months. Out running errands yesterday and decided to order online, pickup, take home. Ordered at 5:53 and the app said food would be ready at 6:01. We arrived at 6:08. Went on app to let them know we were there. Had asked for them to bring it out to the car. Without all the details, know that I phoned the restaurant several times and calls went straight to voice mail. Went inside at 6:40. Waited. Finally at 6:50 ... almost an hour later ... got cold burgers, nasty cold fries, and a completely melted coffee shake. Shame on FG. They didn't even seem that busy. If we go back, I will order there and wait for the food inside. Really bad take out service. read more

Ordered online for the first time today! It was a little after 9 o clock when we ordered and online ordering was very user friendly. We got to the store 15 minutes later the food wasn't ready. No big deal it happens. When we told them our order we were informed that there was no bacon in the store. They compensated this with a free shake, but we had 5 items with bacon on it. Still not a big deal. However this sleazy, older, heavier, gentleman who's personal hygiene could use some heavy lifting. Was working on the counter kept repeating the name of my order very loudly for all to hear, Obviously hinting his was aggravation with the online order. Made us feel very uncomfortable, hope he didn't do anything to our order after about 10 minutes of waiting in the store we got our order and left on the way out the man wished us a good night in his most irritated voice, after saying thank you and walking out the door we could hear him complaining about our order. They didn't close for another half hour + and still had many customers in the store and more customers entering after us. Food was good but not worth the price and not a very pleasurable guest experience. Will make me think again before going back here again. read more

They don't melt the cheese on a cheeseburger! WTF they just throw a slice of cheese on the bread with the patty and other toppings and serve it. That is awful, not going back. Burger was also over cooked. This place is very overrated. read more

The burgers are juicy and cooked just right. You get a ton of fries. Unlike most burger places they have malt vinegar to go on your fries. The only real complaint is the music tends to be too loud and they always put the burger in the bag and then the ton of fries on top. read more

F for effort! If you are unwilling to cook a burger on a piece of foil to help out with a good allergy, you are not trying! Five Guys has simple menu choices and simple, fresh ingredients. Boy, what a let down. Entering the lobby we were literally blasted with heavy metal music or something close to it. Judging from the demographics of our fellow diners, one would guess the staff chose the genre. Waiting for o order, I made the mistake of using the restroom. Littered with paper with the music blasting, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I figured hey, just a bad day. The food will be the saving grace. Could not have been more wrong. While the fries were terrific as always, the burgers we ordered were awful. Overcooked. Put together sloppily- letting and tomatoes half on and half off the bun. Very disappointed. As all Five Guys, food is excellent! But, I can't said the same about costumer service. We arrived maybe 30 min before closing. Cashier was trying to do his faster order. Then when we was eating, one lady come to announce "we will close in 5 minutes, but you can move on the outside tables". Really!!?? We was almost finishing, And for me she was so rude and un respectful to us. I'm not much of a burger person so I had never been to 5 guys. After a day of school shopping, I didn't want to go for "fast food" but didn't want to go to a table service restaurant. Wow! Talk about over-priced. I went to this place expecting to pay a little extra, but after getting a sandwich, small fries, and a drink my meal was over $13. The burgers are nothing special at all. Whether the chain wants to believe it or not, the place is a fast food restaurant. You still get the wrapped burgers, greasy fries, and greasy receipts like at Wendy's or any other fast food restaurant, except you pay $6 more at this place. When I got my burger, it made me think of Wendy's. The fries were even closer to resembling Wendys. If you want a burger, save your money and go to Sonic or even Simards in Wilmington. You'll get the same quality of burger and be able to get a dessert for less than you'll pay at Five Guys. My solution is that Five Guys should get rid of 3 of the guys so they can charge a reasonable price for their food. Their food is not worth the premium they think they can charge, so I won't be back. read more

So much hype so little truth. The burgers are a step above a drive through but not thick and juicy like I expected. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. The meat was quite bland, this was no grass feed beef burger I'll tell you that! The cheap cheese was nasty but the bacon was crisp still not at all worth the money. My son didn't even eat 1/4 of his burger complaining it was too greasy. The fresh cut fries really had the most promise but were soggy and limp. The drink machine was the only part that was cool! For 1 small cheeseburger 1 bacon cheese burger, 1 drink and a small French fry it came to over $20! The worst part was this place was disgustingly dirty. The floors were filthy and not just from the peanut shells, and the tables were a sticky mess! As another reviewer mentioned, this location is as great as any other. I prefer their cajun fries--real spicy and awesome! And of course the burgers are great, too. They also have those new Coke Freestyle machines, which are kind of fun with all the different flavors of soda you can try. read more

Okay...so Five Guys is a step above the cheapo burger chains, and a step below a restaurant burger, but I can completely do without. The beef pattie is good, but then they ruin it with processed orange american cheese. Cheddar would be 400 times better. The fries are okay, if you like them mushy. They slice their hotdog lengthwise, which drives me crazy...and their grilled cheese comes on a hamburger bun. Try getting your kid to eat that! But none of this truly matters, because they NEVER get your order right, anyway--even when you order online and remove the chance of miscommunication. We need an In and Out Burger. read more

This has to be by far the WORST Five guys location I've ever been to. Been there numerous different times and I've not once gotten my order correct. The receipt has it right. But they never make the order correct. I dont think I've ever been there one single time and gotten the right order....I dont understand they have 3 things on the menu. Burgers, dogs, and fries. Yet they cant even get that right. Just paid uber eats to bring it to me and half the order is missing and the half of the order we got is completely wrong... upon calling they say we need to go to the location for a refund...yes okay I'll pay an uber 20 dollars to get my refund. Then 20 dollars back home... yes okay. Will never go there again. Ever. Also want to know why these people get paid what they're paid to do. I went in there once and had some nerdy white kid arguing with another employee on whether or not "iron man was better than spiderman" and guess what. I thought this place could use a little oomph. I know the idea is simple, which is why the decor and menu are super simple, but for me i want to see a place that tries harder to please its guests. I am a huge fan of the five guys chain and love eating there as whenever I can, but this experience was less than stellar. The resturant is not busy and the tables and floors are all covered in food and soda. The staff was behind the counter joking around. read more
