I have been here numerous times, and while the food is pretty good, it's the treatment of the staff that really ruins my experience. Every time I am here I see a member of management yelling at a younger employee. The kid always looks like he's on the verge of tears. Wow! Prepare to be stuffed with good stuff. The burgers and fixins are incredible and fresh. The fries are huge, even when you order a small size. My husband Dwain and I just took two teen-age grandsons there for lunch. They are bottomless pits when it comes to food, and even they were stuffed. Went to get some lunch, and the lady working the counter was incredibly busy and it appeared they were understaffed, but even still I recieved amazing service. Burgers and fries are good. This place is fine if you're eating here, but beware if you take carry-out. I was shorted shorted on my order and when I called the manager he implied that it was my fault! Make sure you double check you order. I love Five Guys, it doesn't matter what you order it always comes out right. It's fast food and I don't mean fast food is in that garbage you get at quick little joints with the window, I mean food that is made ahead of time and made fast with no hold times. Five Guys has the best fries hands down across the nation. The meat is always 100% Black Angus beef never Frozen. The hot dogs are Hebrew National's which are freaking delicious. Love the Five Guys Burger, The fries are only good Cajun style, absolutely hate the prices. Although the food is awesome, the prices are killing me!!! Over $10 for a Burger, Fries, and a drink! I grew up on In N' Out and was used to the extremely cheap (but amazing) fries and burgers. The items on the In N' Out menu are almost half the price of items on the Five Guys menu. If they opened a In N Out next to Five Guys, I bet Five Guys would go out of business. However I still eat the Five Guys burger every once in a while because they are delicious and have that homemade taste! read more

The only fast food restaurant I go to is in n out burger. Since they're limited in their locations, I thought I would give five guys burgers a try. While they're pretty good, they're not in n out burger. I was there quite late in the evening, and all the male employees were shouting and hollering and being generally loud, so this might be their shtick, but it was kind of annoying. Oh, Five Guys. Why must you be so enticing and yummy? The first time we ate at Five Guys, I initially ordered a regular fry and my husband tried to order a large. The cashier stopped and asked us if we'd eaten there before (she obviously knew the answer to this one). We ended up sharing a large fry; and with good reason. A large fry is basically a brown lunchbag full of fries - more than enough for two people. We gorged ourselves (and I got the "little burger," which only has one patty instead of two) and we still couldn't finish our meal. And strangely, the ambience is heightened by the crushed remains of peanut shells all over the floor. It's quite liberating to grab a few peanuts and just toss the shells wherever you like. This is defiitely the place to go if you want a fast food experience. The burgers and fries they pump out are pretty darn tasty. Sorry, Burger King. But Five Guys now has my heart. read more

Call ahead! Program their number in your phone, call them when you are on your way and walk straight to the pickup counter, skipping the horrendously long line that is always present. This is the secret to enjoying Five Guys. As a side note, don't expect your cheese to be centered on your burger. Super disappointed... Had been craving a burger all day and was so excited to go so you'd think it would have been amazing. It wasn't. We were the only people in line and somehow they got both of our burger orders wrong. My friend ordered a bacon cheeseburger "all the way" which entails sautéed mushrooms and onions. It was missing the bacon and the mushrooms/ onions. My burger was also missing onions/ mushrooms. When we mentioned it they politely gave us our toppings on the side. The bacon however was the thinnest, most dry, unappetizing bacon I've seen. Next I have to say that the burger itself was disappointing. It lacked flavor and wasn't really notable in any way. As a line cook of 11 years I know that it is not that hard to make a decent burger. On a more positive note the staff was extremely courteous and the restaurant was spotless clean ( thanks to their extremely young busboy, good work kid!).
