this photo was after my taco fell apart in my rice and beans
    Honey W.

i ordered the lunch date (18$) and the corn tortillas broke apart immediately, not enough meat to tortilla for price. Cilantro isn't cut, i had mostly stems. Rice was hard, no flavor in the pico, shrimp still had the SHELL on when i went to eat it. The Glaicer Melt salsa was the savior. The workers in the back let this girl suffer through cooking, prepping, and trying to remember my order. another worker came in and just messed her up afterwards. definitely won't be going back unless i just get salsa.

Taco Sano has the Burritos and options to be greater but it needs some polish. Being shown here by a friend I was eager to have a giant breakfast burrito to hold me all day and they delivered on that. I loaded it up with all kinds of options I'd never heard of - jalepeno bacon and pineapple salsa to name a couple. Those were good. The burrito was good, you can load it with various beans, veggies and salsa further customizing it, I got the Deluxe. I think the overall operation as I mentioned needs some polish and a year from now this could be outdated. The staff taking orders seemed to also be the ones to prep and cook it. There were 3 so it seemed a bit out of sorts as a line began to form. It seemed their prep area is in an awkward spot so they the carry burrito filling (eggs, meat etc.) over to the prep area and inevitably some is spilling out. Also the drink dispenser has 'out of order' sign. No Bueno. So food is pretty good, but their overall operation needs work, this would make the overall visit better.

    Menu at the counter

Came here for their breakfast burrito which is pretty good, eggs, potatoes, cheddar cheese, onion, salsa etc; basic and filling; yet not greasy. The young kids working at the counter are friendly and working efficiently. Their coffee machine did not work today....

Fantastic ICE everywhere. Gave me a warm feeling to know the staff was clean. Yes some were tanned and smiling.

Delicious burritos but make sure they give your money's worth and ask for extra rice n beans cause they can skimp on that.

The location makes it very convenient to go to the very pleasant bookstore next door while waiting for a table - there is no shortage of customers even on a Wednesday late morning. The line is well-managed with a waiting area and restaurant pagers handed out. It seems like a place that is frequented as much by young people as retirees. They have a combo plate that includes two eggs, hash browns, a protein (I've so far only tried the corned beef hash), and two pancakes starting at 17 with upgrades available for the pancakes. It can easily be split for breakfast and offers a really good variety of things. The corned beef hash, hash browns, and pancakes are all top notch in my opinion (and the eggs are good eggs also). There are numerous Best Breakfast Winner posters hanging above the window to the kitchen and I don't think this place needs much support - they seem to be doing quite well - but in case this reaches someone who is visiting Missoula and doesn't know about it, it's well-worth a stop. We did end up having to wait about 40 mins for a table and like other reviews, the price point was a little high for Montana. But we are glad we tried it. The place itself is so very very beautiful. Our server knew we were on a time crunch and was so great about getting us our food and check. I ended up getting the Ranchers Benny and hubs got the shakshuka. We were both happy with our selections and would most likely come back if we were in town.

I arrived right when they opened, yet several seats still had crumbs on them. The service was quick, though not overly warm or welcoming. I also found it odd that the drink menu is printed separately on paper instead of being included on the main menu--it feels less polished than the rest of the space. As someone who eats plant based, I'd love to see vegan items clearly labeled on the menu and at least one more substantial vegan entrée option. I ordered the Powerhouse Overnight Oats for $22. They were actually quite tasty and surprisingly filling. However, at that price, I expected a little more. The chia seeds were dry rather than fully hydrated, and consuming dry chia seeds on their own is generally discouraged because they absorb liquid after being eaten. One final suggestion: please include menu prices on your website. It makes it much easier for customers to decide before visiting.

HOWEVER, you guys have got to get your shit figured out. The cashier gave us a number placard, and told us to stay at the front to get our drinks before sitting. So we did. Employees were abuzz, swarming like ping pong balls, and making food/drinks. We stood and waited, then after like 15 minutes a gal came out and handed me my plate of food!? We hadn't even gotten our drinks yet. Why was I being handed food first , vs my drink then served food at our table? So I wandered to a table without my spouse, and started to eat as he waited at the front for our drinks. :( I'm not happy about the disorder and chaos. This is NOT the way to run a restaurant. We sat and enjoyed our lattes, and the eclectic ambiance. Finally another ten to 15 minutes later, my husband's biscuits and gravy arrived. I was already done eating, when he began to eat. Sad to say, our experience was extremely disappointing. Totally disjointed experience, and it left us feeling very frustrated and irritated. This shouldn't need to be said, but you guys need to serve people in the order they come in. Get those tickets done asap, and it'll clear up your insane bottleneck you create by serving the "easiest" drinks and meals first. Yummy food, but NOT a good dining experience. Also, there are some funny reviews whining about feeling uncomfortable that this place is anti-ICE. Pro-lgbtq. "Oh the horror" to be inclusive, and tolerant of other people! lol Clyde Coffee is said to be a "liberal" coffee shop, but if you think about it, this is simply human decency... Treat others with basic kindness, and you won't feel such guilt. :)
