Came here only cause tagliare was closed. Food was 24$ for two bowls. My girlfriend got a portion for a mouse. Beans were completely unsalted and fell apart which means it was cooked for way too long. Meat was another thing completely unseasoned. Lacked any flavor. They loaded the sides up to where my food underneath was cold cause I had so much sauce and lettuce on it. Omg. Amazing. Being a Mexican lady and raised with the best Mexican food this is one of the best burritos I've ever had. Grew up in East Los Angeles this is so much more tasty. Stopped as a group for lunch on our way out of town. The staff here was very pleasant during what appeared to be a lunch rush. This restaurant has seating inside and outside, and has a menu that is limited to handmade tacos and burritos- perfect for a quick lunch. My group mostly chose vegetarian burritos and they had PLENTY. I chose the tacos and tried the pork, chicken, and fish on corn tortillas. They were very tasty. If u want a cold ass burrito go here. It tastes good but everything they put in it feels like it came out of the fridge. Cheese isn't even melted. I traveled all the way from California on a road trip and my mom and I were traveling down from glacier park and my mom said let's find a good burrito spot on the way. We used yelp and it was rated awesome and in the picture the burrito looked good however when we took our first bite we were so disappointed. I don't know what the draw is or why this place is always so busy. It's nothing to write home about. Honestly, if you've ever eaten at Qdoba, chipotle, cafe rio, taco del sol, or taco sano then you know what to expect. It's really quite similar in price, quantity and food selection. Well, the national chains have more variety. My hubby's tacos were so darn dry today it was all he could do to swallow them with his soda. This is my least favorite Mexican place in Missoula. The flavors are weak, the beans have no seasoning, there are no sufficient vegan options, the salsa is boring, and the price is far to high. It's not that hard to add seasoning to food, I don't understand why they don't. The burritos literally taste like if I took rice and canned beans from my house, put them in a tortilla, and called it good. I don't plan on going into this place ever again. TL;DR, if you aren't a vegan, you might like it, but if you can't eat meat, this place has absolutely nothing to offer and there's no point to go. read more

I tried this place twice out of fairness and can say with authority there is no reason to ever go back. Favorite burrito place ever. The most delicious and wonderful pork burrito of my life, every time. The more toppings, the better (although the guacamole is slightly expensive but well worth it). I've been going here for years, 2-3x week during school, and never gotten a bad burrito. Always fast and the workers are very courteous. Came here for our first visit. The employees are friendly and we got our food super fast. It was reasonably priced (Burritos are between $7-$8) and they were generous with their cheese and sour cream. (sour cream was extra) I would definitely come here again! Although I would get the smaller burrito next time, since the larger one made me full about 2/3 of the way through. read more

Wow!! This place is absolutely awesome. I am so excited to have found this spot. The food is amazing and the portion sizes are gigantic. The best part is the pulled pork they put in the pork burrito. I don't mean carnitas...I mean real pulled pork!! I have never seen anyone put this in a burrito and it is straight genius. They also have a delightful cilantro lime sauce that adds a phenomenal top note to the flavor combination. I have discovered that the whole wheat tortilla tends to fall apart...I think in the future I will have either the regular tortilla or the naked burrito. The only other bit of constructive criticism I have is they might want to wash out the outside garbage can...it is getting a little ripe. El Diablo is a stop I make often and I've yet to be disappointed. In a town with several good places for quick, big burritos El Diablo hangs in valiantly. They are a bit more expensive than Taco Del Sol, but their ingredients likely cost a bit more too. The veggie burrito is great (get it with their cilantro lime sauce!) and the only meat they have that I wasn't a fan of was the pulled pork. Probably just me though, because other friends who are big swine fans enjoy it. While I'm still a bit more loyal to another burrito place in town, El Diablo is a close second. read more

Hello from Missoula, Yum. El Diablo is a great value and such big portions. We usually have the fish taco, which is made with grilled fish as opposed to fish sticks. Really good with their great lime cilantro white sauce. Just writing this is getting the juices churning and I am already hungry for one of their specials. They are located close to Great Harvest, so buy your dinner bread first. Once you are full of tacos, you can't remember why you needed bread. I have never had a poor experience here. Everything on the menu is excellent, and so is the service. There are many places in town you can get a burrito, but the quality of ingredients at El Diablo sets them so far apart from the rest. El Diablo is my second favorite burrito place in town after La Parilla. My favorite is the Carne Asada filling in either the Taco or Burrito (which uses same fillings, just different shells). It is close to my house and also the University so you don't have to go all the way downtown for a good burrito. The price is pretty good and it's 75 cents cheaper if you order a smaller 10" tortilla. read more

I am a big fan of El Diablo, my favorite burrito place in Missoula. I eat there about every other week. The restaurant is clean, service is fast and courteous, and the food is great. Well, at least the veggie burrito is. I have not tried any of the other fare. I would give this place five stars, but I can't bring myself to five-star a restaurant with five things on the menu (putting the burrito ingredients into taco shells hardly constitutes a separate menu item). I am vegan, as well, so I have but one item to choose. I like El Diablo much better than the other taco shops in town...although I do think some of the ingredients are bland and could use more spice and flavor, El Diablo serves mahi mahi (which I love) and season their rice with cilantro. You know, El Diablo is really good. But, as much as I want to, I just can't like it as much as Taco Del Sol. I want to like it more because they have higher quality meat, it seems, and the portions are great, and they put out a lot of good coupons. But, the burritos always end up good but kind of bland. This last time I tried to spice up my fish burrito with the hottest salsa and jalapenos. Well, it was just spicy and bland. I think the leg up that Taco Del Sol has is their medium sauce. It lays down a blanket of flavor and makes it a lot more moist. If El Diablo would offer a medium sauce, I think they'd take the cake. Until then, it's pretty good.
