I always stop here when driving to East Montana. Healthy, tasty, fast and friendly service and next to a gas station! Perfect place to stop for lunch.

We stopped at Soup Farm as we were driving by on our way to Bozeman. This was a quick and easy stop as it was right off the highway and we were able to order online ahead of time. I had the seasonal salad which was exactly as I had hoped and even more delicious than I expected. The ingredients were fresh and the staff were super friendly and helpful! They suggested a couple nearby parks so we could exercise our pup before heading out. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for something quick and fresh while you are in the area!

As always this place is delicious! I love how they rotate their soups and each one I've ever tried was phenomenal! Highly recommend this place!

Cute little soup and sandwich shop. They have salads and takeout items to. I had the Korean beef and rice soup with the turkey and Gouda sandwich. Great healthy food on a cold rainy day!

On our way to Yellowstone National Park we stopped at Missoula for lunch. We found Soup Farm on Yelp and enjoyed our lunch. We got Pork Chili Verde, Roasted Tomato & Fennel, and Chicken Salad Sandwich. We loved both our soups, they were like homemade soups, made with fresh and quality ingredients. The sandwich was made after we order and tasted great. The service was friendly and helpful, when she realized we were going to split our sandwich she asked if we wanted it cut in half. I highly recommend this place.

Yummy soup, bread, and sandwiches. Only given two slices of turkey on the half, so not hearty at all, but good flavor. Will try again.

Everything I've ever gotten here is *chef's kiss* the most delicious, always perfectly crafted and made with fresh ingredients. You must try all the soups! The staff is always so welcoming and the rotating menu items will keep you coming back for more. They do give real silverware for to-go orders so you have to come back to return that anyway ;) location is quaint, definitely one of my favorites when I come to town

I also really appreciated that they offer several vegan options. I ordered the Creamy Blue Smoothie and the Banana Walnut Oatmeal. The oatmeal was absolutely AMAZING--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the best breakfasts I've had here. It's the item I'd recommend to everyone. The smoothie was good overall, but the fresh mint was a bit overpowering and left an aftertaste for me. I think it would be even better without the mint or with less of it. I also appreciated that they use compostable straws, although mine was cracked when I unwrapped it. Later, I came back for lunch and ordered the half Brussels Caesar Salad with the vegan protein. The vegan protein (chickpeas and lentils) was delicious, and the half portion was surprisingly large. I also liked that the dressing came already tossed throughout the salad. One thing I found a little confusing was that the Brussels Caesar uses a vegan dressing but is topped with cheese, so I'd be curious what substitution is offered for guests ordering it vegan. The bread was good, although the butter was served very cold and was difficult to spread. A few suggestions that could make the experience even better: * Add a larger "Basal" sign above the entrance to make the restaurant easier to spot. * Install a large wall-mounted menu inside for easier viewing. * Keep tables and chairs wiped down throughout the lunch rush. The restaurant was spotless during breakfast, but by lunchtime several tables and seats needed cleaning. Given the price point, I'd expect a bit more attention to dining room upkeep. Overall: good atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. I recommend the Banana Walnut Oatmeal.

For dinner, we were going to order the ciopinno but it wasn't available so we ordered the rack of lamb and of course, the NY steak! The rack of lamb had a good flavor, but instead of medium rare, it was well done. Sadly. The NY Steak was also well done- instead of med-rare. They did give a reduction in price when I mentioned it, which I didn't expect! Everything else was so great- we will definitely go back to give another chance!

The wine department alone is worth the trip -- they've got everything organized by region with these great little signposts (Chile, Argentina, an actual sake and dessert section), plus a deep bench of natural and small-production bottles. Found some gems I hadn't seen anywhere else in town. The prepared food situation is excellent. The hot bar, salad bar, and antipasto bar are all $9.99/lb, and they've got a made-to-order panini station and wok bowls if you'd rather get something fresh. Solid spot for a quick, quality lunch. What really sets this place apart is that it's so much more than a grocery store. There's a whole housewares section with SMEG kettles, beautiful linens, mugs, and kitchen gear -- dangerously easy to walk out with more than you came for. They even have a sunny garden nook with locally grown succulents, orchids, lavender, and organic seed packets from regional growers. Love that they support local. Yep, just with a unique spin. I tried a large brown rice and salad bowl with the beef, sweet potato, roasted red pepper sauce, chimichurri, tomato vinaigrette, and farofa. It's a lot of good and the flavors are fresh, especially with the brightness from the chimi. The sweet potatoes are seasoned beautifully and the best part of the dish afterwards. The beef...needs more salt and has been sitting in the line for a bit too long - gray and bland, which I feel is not the hallmark of Brazilian churrosco. But the grill setup is there for the vibes. Maybe try the chicken next time. Also make sure you get the pao de quejo, super addictive chewy cheese rolls that are best fresh from the oven. Again the steam tray probably wasn't helping but either way are worth it as a side.
