Kind of a subpar experience. The burgers are dry here, because they squeeze all the juice out of the burger and keep pressing down on it. Supposed to just smash it once and let it sear, probably. Also had an awkward moment where they didn't have milkshakes after charging me for it. Had to wait awkwardly for a refund, basically held hostage so I couldn't just go elsewhere. And definitely no offer of a substitution or anything. Worst part, the person who looks like the supervisor also took my card with his greasy gloves, then went back to prepping with the same gloves. Gross... it's like no one cares here.

Good for higher quality fast food. The small fries is ginormous. Free refills. 2 burgers w drinks and fries is $30. Easy parking in this lot off the LIE.

I came here and got a cheeseburger and a regular little fry which came out to $16.09 with tax. The place was empty, so service was quick, and the place looked clean overall. I ended up getting mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, mushrooms and ketchup on my cheeseburger. The fries are still jammed packed in the bag. The burger tasted good, and the fries could've been a little warmer. Also, they should add chipotle mayo and fried egg as an option for the burger toppings.

    (Truly) small fries

I tried to cheer myself up the other day by coming here to order some fries. I opened the bag in eager anticipation only to see one tiny cup of fries, with no extras at all in the bag. A picture's worth a thousand words here. What happened?? I've been to numerous other five guys recently and they always, ALWAYS dump extra fries in the bag regardless of the size fry you order. Besides that, 4.50 is an absolutely insane price to pay for this minuscule amount of fries. This cup was so small I would still be thirsty if I were drinking water out of it. There were maybe 15 fries that were edible and the rest were burnt to a crisp. I hope this was just a fluke and was the result of a new employee not getting the memo or something. For now, beware of this five guys if you expect the usual generous heaping of fries.

I don't know what I like best here- the burgers or the hotdogs. Both very messy- which I love and filling. A meal here for two can run anywhere from $20-$30. I recommend the hotdog with all the works as well as the little cheeseburger with all the works. A SMALL Cajun fries is enough to share between two people. And parking is readily available at most Five Guys

The establishment is off the Long Island Expressway which is extremely convenient (literally get off and back on ) as needed. It's part of the Little Neck Plaza which has several places to eat in or take out. Which is good thing to try out variety of things. The establishment is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. They were well staffed. It seems that they increased their prices on the menu. The dining area is large enough and it does have adequate seating. The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. The orders were taken promptly and quickly. The service was good. The food came out fresh and accordingly. For some reason we find the Five guys did not seem to busy. They do have a parking lot which is very convenient.

Dear Five Guys management pls enforce or train ur staff to wear the mask correctly !!!!

No mask ! No entry ! Meanwhile their own employee have it on but not wearing it! Management pls make sure ur staff are following the rule. I end up did not order one for myself! I don't think it is safe to eat there if she doesn't know the basic rule.

I'll admit I haven't been to another Five Guys location, but it's hard to complain about this one. Sure the food is more expensive than McDonald's, et. al. That's because it's BETTER! Not only that, but even a Little Bacon Burger will keep me full for 12 hours. So ordering a meal at this place is actually like ordering two meals for the price of one. The fries are crisp and delicious, free refills. Everything tastes so much fresher than at most other burger joints. They even have a white board on the wall that shows where the day's potatoes were imported from. No complaints about the service. As of yet, I have not tasted a better burger than Five Guys.'

If you got a hankering for a burger, get here. The perfect burger made fresh before your eyes however you want it. Consistently amazing burgers. Juicy, fresh, delicious. Free peanuts while you wait that you deshell. I love that. Fries are delicious. Fresh cut, fried never greasy, in paper bag. Love love love! Hot dogs too. Lots of choices of toppings. The only reason i can't give 5 stars is this location has temperature control issues. It's freezing year round. Probably because the thermostat is high up on wall directly adjacent to grill area. Today was chilly, rainy Spring day...it was literally warmer outside. They did eventually adjust the thermostat. Not their fault. It's warm where they are all standing, by the grill.

I love this spot for a juicy quick burger. I go there all the time. I love their fries and their service is awesome. They are wonderful and great. I'll continue going there.

My custom double bacon cheeseburger and Bomb AF Cajun Fries!

First time in this joint, very ample space. Has free parking lot. Cashier was very friendly and informative. She recommended a double burger so I got a Double Bacon Cheeseburger. I tried their cajun fries before which were so good and well seasoned. This time I got the meal. Burger was nice and soft. Meat shouldnt be squished/pressed but I guess five guys has a training method for their burger patty. Cashier told me I could add any toppings so I went all out lol. I enjoyed the fries and the burger however double patty was too much. I was a fan of the flavors but the bun to me didnt complement the meat or add ons. Ill definitely swing back after the gym of course I still crave those fries. Service did made up for the bun. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

But we are huge fans of the Peter Luger steak sauce & we had visitors, so why not visit this iconic steak house which is conveniently not located in NYC proper? We arrived a little early for dinner, so the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. They had us sit for a second at the bar lounge while a table was being assigned to us. The ambiance really plays up the heritage of the Peter Luger brand. We were seated towards the very back of the restaurant. I really liked the area since it was not too dimly lit. We started with the breads and wedge salad. I love carbs, and I liked that the breads were a little heavily seasoned. Caraway seeds are not for everyone, but they are for me. The butter was not very flavorful or soft, but I guess that's being too picky for free bread and butter before the meal. I chose the wedge salad because I knew I'd want crisp lettuce with my steak & also this salad comes topped with chopped bacon. The same thick bacon that people order on the side! It felt like a two-for-one dish. I enjoyed both the bacon and the lettuce smothered in blue cheese. The bacon really was nicely cured. We got the steak for two, which came on a sizzling plate precut. We did ask for medium-- not my preference-- because my guests didn't really enjoy eating meat not browned up all the way through. However, the steak came out closer to medium-rare. Initially, the plate was hot enough for us to try to sear the pieces. However, I found that the plate cooled much more quickly than I thought. The flavor of the meat was very prominent and the seasoning was well executed. Creamed spinach was a bit of a disappointment. It just didn't really taste like anything except a little muddy in aftertaste. The onion and tomato were nice, thick slices that helped cut through the richness of the steak. I did write on the reservation that my guests were celebrating a wedding anniversary, and they brought out some whipped cream and chocolate even though we declined dessert! Always such a lovely touch.

Part of the dining experience is the service. The food was good, no question. We had the rudest waiter that made the experience unpleasant. This wasn't our first rodeo there. There are wonderful places out there that have equally good food and charming wait staff. Why deal with a nasty waiter who is rushing us out before we even ordered and jumping down our throats every time he came to our table. Bye bye Peter Lugers.

Fast forward to last weekend, when I bribed them with a promise to visit a Mr. Beast Burger on a visit to Queens. I looked up nearby locations on its website, and the first location we tried in Port Washington appeared to be an incorrect address. We ended up selecting the Great Neck location next, which is actually the address of the Inn at Great Neck. The bartender at the hotel confirmed that they provide Mr. Beast Burger meals but said I had to order online. The website for the popular YouTube influencer didn't allow a pickup order here, so I asked the bartender again. He didn't know and turned instead to the person at reception, who told me I could download a meal delivery apps (which I decidedly don't use because of the fees they charge independent restaurants) and select the pickup option. I did that, but it took about a half-hour longer than the app said to have my meal handed to me, although it's possible the bartender didn't know to check. (There were two other people at the bar, so it's not as if it were that busy.) Limited to one order each, my kids ordered the grilled cheese, whose greatest innovation is being made with one half of a small hamburger bun placed upside-down, and the fries, which were cold and slightly soggy. Neither order was exceptional in any way or of any notable quality. Like I said, the guy is a marketing genius.

Note: They don't open until 5. The burgers all consisted of two patties and were all cooked decently on a soft bun with some crispy edges, which reminded me a little of Shake Shack. Even the french fries tasted like a variation of Shake Shack that just met expectations. I prefer the unseasoned fries over the seasoned. All the food can be considered mediocre without anything special that stood out. If you're craving a burger without any additional frills, MrBeast Burger is worth a try.
