Went here for lunch. I've been here before a few times, and it's always great. The burgers are a must try, and I haven't had a bad one yet. Bring your appetite! The fries are good, cut from fresh potatoes.., blah blah blah. They're ok. They're not crispy usually, at all.. but nevertheless, still pretty good. They give you a ton of them, so unless you are a (non-crispy) fry lover, order the smallest one. Oh God, no. This establishment is highly overrated and expensive AF. My first and last time ordering there, I ordered to eat in- my burger was messy and not appetizing. The Cajun fries are loaded with seasonings and hard to enjoy, nothing about it tasted Cajun. The best piece of my visit was the free roasted peanuts! I always place my orders online and pick up on my lunch break at work. I found that every time I ordered, I would have to sit around and wait 10-15 minutes for my food. What is the point of ordering ahead of time if I still have to wait? (And no, not for fries - just a simple burger). Last time I went in I told myself I wouldn't return since I waste much of my break waiting. I decided I would order once again, but that I would put a 3:30 pick up time but show up at 3:45 specifically so I wouldn't have to wait. I show up at 3:45 and there's a line of people waiting to place an order so I go right to the pick up counter...I see no food waiting. I told the woman I was picking up and she said ok and asked the cashier about a web order. He told me they never received it and would work on it now...although every one in line's order was being made so now, once again I find myself waiting. They told me I must have not place it right - I showed them my confirmation email. I told them to just forget it - I wanted my money back. The cashier told me he could not refund my money for an online order??? A girl ended up coming out from the back and told me their online ordering was shut off and she doesn't know why it even let me order. This was my second time at five guys and I was pleased with my food. I ordered a regular bacon cheese burger with jalapeños and grilled onions. The burger was grilled to perfection--it was lean and juicy. Vegetables were fresh! But the Jalapeños were extra spicy and I could not eat it after my first bite. If you want an extremely fiery taste to your burger, definitely add the jalapeños. Avoid it if you're hoping for a mild spice. I had to drink a lot of water to cool down the heat in my mouth. The cashier was very welcoming and the restaurant was clean and spacious. Our group had fun hanging out snacking on peanuts as we waited for our food. The soda machine was also pretty cool. They had endless drink options. If you are craving a solid burger spot, this place is definitely better than fast food. You'll be satisfied. read more

Offensively loud 80s rock (my 2 little kids could hardly have a conversation with me bcuz the music was so loud "come on feel the noise! Girls rock your boys!!" - not what I want to compete with for conversation). The burgers were mediocre at best. The employees were playfully yelling back and forth to each other. The place was busy but everyone was nearly shouting to be heard. The buns were soggy on the burgers and the tomatoes were pale pink and a bit slimy (I guess that's what ya get in the middle of winter). Took almost 15 minutes to get a grilled cheese, a burger and a small order of fries. The floor was filthy and so was my table. The only thing good was the fries. Not worth going back for fries alone. I have been meaning to write about this place. I have only eaten at 5 Guys in Warwick on two separate occasions...there will not be a third. First of all, let me explain that I am not a fast foodie but appreciate good tasty fast food if I'm craving it. I consider In & Out burger to be my favorite...still crossing my fingers on In & Out spreading to the East Coast. Back to 5 Guys...their burgers are nothing to write home about. I have had pancakes thicker than that and I'm also not a big fan of burgers prepared on flat tops....there is something about burgers on the grill that makes this girl happy. The toppings are free which is good for me as I bathe it in condiments to cover the crappy meat. The fries are tasty however the whole fry situation must be some sort of ongoing joke. When I ordered a SMALL fry, which is all I wanted (because I would have gotten a large if I wanted to) I figured that when I saw the guy scoop with his little scooper thing and put the fries in the cup, that it would go into the back and be handed to me. No...the fry filled cup went into the bag, followed three additional hearings of scooped fries. I had a large brown bag, half filled with French fries. I am surprised the grease didn't cause the bottom of the bag to give out. Clearly those 5 Guys and I do not have the same interpretation of sizes. That was gross and a waste of food as 90 percent of it was thrown out. Sadly enough, I'm sure most others are not as sensible and I feel bad for their arteries. read more

Having eaten at 3 other "Five Guy" locations, I'm aware of the calibre of this franchise. They've set the bar high for not only the Burger genre, but their own franchise siblings. Five Guys-Lincoln has gotten off to a fine start with no teething problems at all. The order was handled correctly, courteously and promptly. The signature peanuts were strategically placed in the usual locations. I'm glad I no longer need to travel as far to get my burger fix. Congrats on your launch. read more

First time at Lincoln location Friday night. It was definitely not up to par with Warwick or Patriots Place!. Burgers bland, cheese cold and unmelted, and fries were Very disappointing! I came in around 7pm the restaurant was very busy. I had really bad cravings that I came all the way from Providence. There was a 20 minute wait to place my order. I ordered the bacon cheese burger, the burger took an extra 20 minutes until my order was called in the pick up line. My burger ended up coming out soggy/sloppy, mayo was spread all over the outside of buns, not only that my toppings were old, my lettuce was brownish, my tomato was old. I love the simplicity of this place. My first hamburger was fine by me. The kitchen area is open to see and hear and was abuzz with efficiency and good attitude. I was impressed as the main cook neatly organized the orders and it was fun to watch. My burger was fresh and exactly as ordered. I enjoyed the back yard burger style presentation. The tomato, lettuce and onions were all fresh and generous. The fries were kinda pricey at 5 bucks for a large. That's the burger price? They were fried in peanut oil and that is a pricey oil so I'm figuring that's the culprit. The peanuts to munch on while waiting for my burger were fresh and endless and salted. No unsalted that I could see but if they have them I'll choose those instead. One thing I would like to see is a 90 percent lean beef choice and maybe a soy burger for my herbivore friends. So good that we have date nights here. No joke. My youngest son has a severe peanut allergy and can't step foot in here without going into anaphylactic shock. So anytime we have a sitter and go to the movies this is typically where we eat. Perhaps it's more delicious because it's forbidden. I always get the cheeseburger and we split fries. My wife opts for a hot dog because she's not even man enough to eat a little burger. I haven't tried the shakes out of fear of diabetic coma but my brother in law says they're not to be missed. It gets super busy on weekends but lines move pretty quickly. They have one of those souped up soda machines that offer like 500 drinks. First I would like to preface my comments by stating, as a burger lover I have no patience for restaurants who do a poor job on making one of the easiest products to prepare for their guests. So let me begin my review. I have heard so much about this restaurant chain and I was anxious to try it. Many people that have eaten at Five Guys have raved about one thing, the French Fries and yes the fries were great, thus the reason I gave it a One Star rating. When I entered the establishment first thing I noticed it was not high on the cleanliness scale and it was loud with servers constantly yelling out guest's order numbers to pick up their burgers etc. The line moved quickly and it was my turn to order. I asked for a burger with mushrooms and onions only, cooked medium rare. The server could not prepare my burger medium rare because everything was cooked well done. This immediately tells me the quality of meat can't be trusted and the food chain does not was to assume the risk. Because I was with good friends, I proceeded with my order, otherwise I would have walked out, as I have done at other establishments never to return. So I gave it a try. It took 15 minutes to finish my small order and the moment of truth arrived. Taking the burger out of the foil and looking under the bun I noticed the mushrooms and onions were burnt as well as the burger. So I bit into it and on a scale of 1 to 10 where ten is the best, I give it a zero. Burger was dry and overcooked, but the fries were great. To continue with any further ratings of this FAST FOOD CHAIN would be an exercise in futility. If your a lover of fast food, which by the way was not fast, then this is the place for you. Perhaps Wendy's or some other fast food place that can't cook burgers the way you would like it might be a better choice. At least I tried it with one guarantee never to return. read more

I give this place three stars because I find it to be very hit or miss. On some occasions, I've had the best burger of my LIFE. On others, it's barely been meh. This location has horrible service. I put in a online order at noon time for pick up at 2pm. I got there for 2 and it was not even started on. I stood there for almost 15 minutes waiting.
