As we live in the UK only 1st visit, last week. The children visited twice. What a good quality of burgers, 100% mince ! Delicious. Creating a personal burger was new for me, but pleased very much. Nice and clean establishment and a very friendly & helpful service. Mc Johnny's does not offer such a good quality (not in UK/Europe anyway), as far as I know. A real meal, to stop the hunger. My compliments to everyone, Henri PS A very convenient location too read more

6:50 on 12/14/17: Screw up my order the first time and I'll cut you some slack and I pointed out nicely that the bacon cheeseburger was not ordered with tomatoes (tomatoes were not on the order or on the receipt). I waited for a replacement that the manager requested "on the fly." Well, the replacement looked like a kiddie's burger and was missing the bacon and I pointed this out and was handed aluminum foil with some bacon in it. SERIOUSLY? I'm supposed to assemble my own burgers, now? Screw it up AGAIN after I return it and shame on you especially after I gave you the receipt that had the CORRECT order that the assembler ignored the first time and that I explained to you. Then, the manager handing me the missing component wrapped in foil that you forgot the second time says that you just don't care. The name is Five Guys, not Five Tries!!! I ended up leaving the food at the pick-up area, eating nothing, not asking for or being offered a refund and leaving hungry. I'm out the money that I paid (I'll chalk it up to being the cost of learning that some places no longer care about customer service) and I had to go elsewhere to eat. There was no excuse for this other than not caring about their customers and not paying attention. They weren't busy and the shift manager that handled this just stared at me like he had lost his puppy. Either inadequately trained or absolutely oblivious to his responsibility. You can pretend to apologize, but an apology without sincerity or proper action is about as useless as a fork to drink a glass of water. You've lost a good customer. I won't be back!!! read more

A decent burger. I got a burger bowl but I was hoping they had ranch but they didn't. Oh well. It wasn't as good I was hoping it was going to be but it was better then most fast food places. I would go back. read more

I'm not really a burger person but I enjoy their burgers especially w hot sauce! The employees are very nice and very accommodating to allergies. Dining room is always clean and so are the bathrooms. They are always fully staffed and the staff seem like they really enjoy their job! read more

Three visits w/ family, all at dinner hour. No waiting. The burger was passable. The rolls are ok. The condiments are adequate. The fries make up in portion size what they lack en todo. I thought the dining area was a bit grungy around the edges. Maybe next time to go? Peanuts? Big deal. read more

Hillsborough location of 5 Guys USED to be outstanding. In the past year the service and quality of food has rapidly deteriorated. Online orders paid for but they have no record in store of the order. Orders are more frequently incorrect. And most importantly, the quality of the burgers and fries is not what it is at other 5 Guys. This used to be the "go to" place in Hillsborough for a burger; unfortunately no longer. read more

At a time when restaurants are hurting for customers now is not the time to screw up orders or short change a customer on the volume of food . If all you sell are burgers i would expect you can get an order right - 2 double bacon cheese burgers, - got home - no bacon , no cheese and for $1 I could have got more fries at Burger King than $6 for the soggy large at 5 Guys . Oh yea - Burger King actually has bacon double cheese burgers and fries without spending $28 . read more

I had the usual great experience at Five Guys today. I love their burgers and all the free topping choices. Their fries were hot, fresh and plentiful. The flavor of their ground beef, even though they cook on a flat-top, tastes just like the burgers you cook at home. I appreciate the way they number your sandwiches in the bag so it is easy to hand them out - ingenious. Free peanuts pass the time waiting for your order. This location offers outdoor seating, which was awesome on a beautiful Spring day. My only complaint about this location is that the complimentary water cup they offered was REALLY small and they refused to allow me to upgrade to a regular cup. read more

Was very excited when I found out that a Five Guys was opening in Hillsborough. We have tried it 5 times. Usually ordered it online and picked up. The burgers were always a big mess when we got home (just 3 minutes or less drive) and the bread was soggy. Today we decided to just go in, order and wait for them. When we got home, it was the same thing. It looks like when they are wrapping them they press the burgers down and they are a smashed mess when you get home and unwrap them. I think I am done with Five Guys in Hillsborough. read more

This location NEVER has the burgers done when the online order states it will be. My husband is waiting for our burgers for an extra 10 minutes and then an extra 5 minutes for our shakes.. On top of that, my burger hasn't been correct the past few times I've gone. I shouldn't have to check my burger in the store to ensure I'm getting what I paid for! This location is so disappointing and we are done visiting it for quite a while! read more

Been here before and it was better. This time, although the burgers are generous in size, they are very messy. Flavor was okay. The fries were soggy! Very disappointing for a place with fires in the name. I doubt I'll be back even though I crave fast food burgers occasionally. read more

Have been to this Five Guys location a couple of times. The fries are good. The extras they put on the burgers are good. The buns are good. The free peanuts are an "interesting" gimmick. But its a burger place and the burgers have nothing going for them. The are well done which is not the way I like my burgers but even a well done burger can be good. At this location they are soooo dry and have no flavor. As much as it pains me to say, I can get a better tasting burger at McDonalds or Burger King. read more

Among the burger chains I like Five Guys the best. It's not haute cuisine, but their patties are flavorful, and the topping options are plenty. Their fries are decent. The place is well lit and comfortable (though it could be a bit cleaner sometimes). All in all, I'm glad we have this option nearby. read more

LOVED the burger & fries. Went here with my boyfriend for the first time 2 weeks ago. He wasn't kidding when he said I would like it. The peanuts are a nice little app before the food. The burger was tender & juicy, fries were to die for. Will definitely be returning! read more

My love for Five Guys was absolute. WAS. Burger sizes have shrunk, fries are just too soggy, and the restaurants need a deep clean. Our burgers today were at most 2.5 ounces, over cooked and tasteless. I'll stick with Shake Shack, Bobby's Burger Palace, or Smashburger. read more

burgers are flat and dry like hockey pucks. mine was tastless and it was small too. burger is expensive for like a 4 bite patty with just cheese. fries were a heart attack in a bag with the amount of oil in them and way too much. put more back in the patty and less in the bag!! the place looks grungy with the peanut bags and all everywhere. people with peanut allergies would not want to step foot into a place that has bags lined up in the middle being used like a wall divider. GET RID OF THE BAGS!!!! read more

To start this is the first review I ever had to write. 2 people in front of me, being nice it took 5 min to order, that happens I understand nothing is perfect. Then I noticed people that ordered way after me were walking out with their food one by one, I had to go up and ask where is my food. I looked at my receipt when I finally got my food and the time on it, took 20 min plus the first 5 plus min. Oh, must of been because my order was huge, 1 cheese burger and 1 small fry. I can understand if they were crazy busy, but they were not that busy. Very poor service don't deserve even 1 star. I work hard for my money, I will never spend a dime there again. read more

Great customer service and a wonderful experience . Special thanks to Jorge, the gentleman who served me, and John, the manager on site at the time. read more

Not a very good Five Guys location. Usually eating Five Guys makes me feel like a bag of trash in the end, but it's at least gratifying and tastes good while it's going in my mouth. The burgers were I suppose about on par with other locations I've been to, but the fries we got were awful, soft, and weirdly dark. They were also supposed to be cajun fries but were not seasoned properly - usually fries from this chain are absolutely coated in seasoning, so that your fingers are red by the time you're done. This time they were just dark-ish, seasoned but not very much, very soggy, very short pieces seemingly from the bottom of whatever fry reserve they have back there. I got my food to go so maybe they soggified a little more in the 10 minute car ride home, but I doubt they would have been much better fresh. Lastly, I got the food for pickup so that I wouldn't have to wait in the restaurant for my order, but they seemingly didn't start the order until I stepped in the door. The weird hard-of-hearing guy on the phone told me (after keeping me on hold for 3 minutes (?!?!?)) that it would be ready in 5-10 mins, but I ended up waiting 10 mins after I arrived. Overall a thumbs down. read more

I've eaten here 4 times in the past year. Fantastic burgers and fries. Love the atmosphere and the music. Love the custom soda machine. Fancy a strawberry Sprite Zero? Yep! If you want to get fat(ter), this is the place to do it, hands down. A meal for two is around $23 - not cheap- but the taste is head and shoulders above anything from MCD's or B-K (forget Wendy's as they're atrocious now). To the cheapskates complaining about the prices: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! read more

Popular burger place. Kids say better than big chain places. But the prices are relatively high.

The staff here is great! They get food out quick and they are always nice. The fries are amazing and the food is consistent.

I went in at 9:45 about 3 nights ago to get one kid burger. As soon as I walk in the door I apologize for being here 15 minutes before closing because I work in the food industry as well, I understand they are trying to close. Every single worker in there ignores my apology, doesn't take my order for like 3 minutes of me standing at the counter and I get nasty looks from everyone in there. Their backs were to me clearly to ignore me. Very rude. I get home and my fries are over salted I guess in their "revenge" to a point where I couldn't eat them. read more

Excellent service this time of day, cooked my burgers real nice

FIRST AND LAST TIME. My bf ordered a bacon cheeseburger and I simply said "make it two to make it easy" followed by explaining what we wanted on it (lettuce pickle etc) AND THEY ACTUALLY MESSED THAT UP. Stupidity at its best. Maybe if cashier didn't have to yell every time someone walks in the door they would be able to concentrate on orders. read more

I love this place. So far I haven't had any problems and everyone seems friendly. My girlfriend loves this place, and it's our place to go for a good burger. The price is steep at about 15 bucks a person. But the quality seems to match. The burgers are juicy and the fries have that real potato taste. The vanilla milkshake pairs better than the fountain soda. They have the touchscreen soda machine that offers vanilla rootbeer. The peanuts are nice to hold you over while your foods cooking. As for calling in my order, I gave plenty of time between my call, and my arrival for my order, and it was not ready. It was not busy that day, it actually seemed dead. The only reason I could excuse this is they wanted me to give me fresh fries. (The fries went into the fryer right after they were alerted to my arrival.) I was waiting about ten minutes at the counter for my order to be ready. I didn't see any burgers being cooked, was my burger sitting in a bag?? That seems to defeat the purpose of the fresh fries. Luckily I wasn't pressed for time so this was just an inconvenience, but if I was I would have just left. What was the point of calling ahead? Next time I will have to make it known that I will be OK with the fries if they are sitting for a minute. And I'm telling this story for whoever else decides to call in. I was disappointed to see others giving bad reviews about service, and one review that said a manager refused to give a bag of peanuts to go on a large order, than argued with the customer over email. A place with that kind of management IS NOT the kind of place I want to eat at. I hope I don't encounter a problem like this at this location. As of now I would return. read more

Fantastic burgers and fries. It is always great every time that I come. I would definitely recommend it.

Great too stop by here for the milkshakes and the fries! But the prices are a bit too high just for that and they dont have much else going for them read more

I didn't quite get the hysteria about FIve Guys before it opened and after eating there a few times....I still don't get it. Don't get me wrong, the food is solid overall. The burgers are a step up from McDonalds and BK but not much better than Wendy's. The fries while fresh cut and nice and hot tend to be overcooked. I understand that most people like their fries on the crispy side but don't burn the damn things! read more

The burger was burnt on the outside and dry on the inside. Totally tasteless unless you like a mouthful of salt. Their fries were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside dripping with peanut oil that it leaked thru the bag. Really do not know what the rave is about, much rather go to a diner where the burgers are much bigger, flamebroiled, tasty and about the same price. Not going back! read more

Excellent hamburgers and fries, but be aware that the hamburger is actually a double burger. The fries are packed with flavor, a little salty for my taste, but still great. Do not come here if you are counting calories, though. read more
