Five guys is our first burger choice if we don't want to drive into civilization. The burgers are yummy and we love the Cajun fries. For those new to five guys, the regular burger is a double and the little burger is a single. We've been ordering online and eating in our car in the parking lot during covid. The online ordering system is easy enough that I will continue to use after things return to normal. I'm docking them one star because they have consistently shorted us on the fries we enjoy so much. The restaurant is one of the standard lunch spots for my coworkers and I, and it's become that because of the solid quality of the food as well as the speedy preparation of it. This was probably my second or third time at a Five Guys. I like the Brighton store a lot. Not only close by the house but clean and friendly and far less of a madhouse than the Detroit location. We came for milkshakes and stayed for the burger and fries. I will say, they give you a ton of food! Our regular fries were enough to feed 4 and their double patty burgers are gigantic. Plenty to eat half and save some for a snack. With bacon and all the add-ons they're more than filling for one sitting. The food is quality too. Made well, prepped well and delivered to you fast. I can see this being a regular burger spot but definitely not on the cheap. Our two meals ran about $35 with the two milkshakes but don't forget the milkshakes or you'll wish you hadn't. We stopped in for cheeseburgers and shakes. The shake machine was broken down. That was a little disappointing, but what was really disappointing was that someone else picked up our order and ate it (not 5 Guys fault). Got carry out for my daughter's birthday, I'm alwats leery about how food like this "travels", as burgers and fries are best eaten in house. This experience was not an exception. Now, we only live 2 miles away so its not like the food sat forever before we ate it, but the fries don't travel well at all, were soggy. There is, however, no excuse for using nearly rotten lettuce. This Five Guys location is fast, friendly and always delicious. If you're new to the chain, it's a low-key burger joint serving up thin/smashed style, fresh made-to-order patties. There's a wide selection of toppings to add to your burger. I believe they also have hot dogs and a bunless (lettuce) burger option as well. All of the patties are cooked "well done" but they are never dry or lacking flavor so don't let that steer you away. The fries are my favorite of any I've ever had; I get them Cajun style and could live off of them. The milkshakes are also awesome and a great way to top off your meal. Generally there is a 5-10 minute wait after you place your order but since they're cooking the patties fresh, it is totally worth it. This location has additional parking in the back of the building that is usually easier to navigate. read more

Our experience was horrible and I highly do not recommend we got four burgers and two milkshakes for $105 which is a horrid price for what gross burgers these where and then the fries where very undercooked and when we sent them back they came back exactly the same if not worse. Customer service was pretty disappointing. When we got to the restaurant to pick up our order they didn't read the name and just told us they never received our order. Then we had to wait 20 min to talk to the manager, and when we did she was able to pull it up and let us know our food had already been sitting there for 10 min while we were waiting. I have never eaten at a Five Guys so we decided to grab a quick bite there. First off quick was not part of the deal. It took about 15 minutes to get two burgers and some fries and they were not even that busy. Second I don't like American (fake) cheese so not having other cheese options was disappointing. I ended up getting a bacon burger with lettuce, pickles, and A1 steak sauce. The fries were actually delicious and the best part of the meal. They have malt vinegar and ketchup which is my favorite way to enjoy thick cut fries. The double patty burger was really dry and pretty much flavorless. Not impressed. The lettuce was not fresh looking and soggy. I find it ironic that they claim to cook their patties to juicy and well done perfection. Not having a cooking temperature option seems odd. Well done and juicy are not two things that make sense together. I probably won't go out of my way to return especially at the price point. I don't mind paying $30 for a meal, but it better be at least a little tasty. Also the dining room was a mess. Dirty garbage cans and floors. If you're going to offer free peanuts to waiting customers, you better have someone minding your dining room often. read more

We've been going to this location since it opened. The staff is great and they always take great care of our gluten free eater. If you mention someone has a gluten allergy, they will handle with care with brand new gloves. Love the Cajun fries and even the hot dogs! Me and two other guys went to five guys for lunch break from work, I can't recall what the third one ordered but two of us ordered cheeseburgers with everything on it and french fries it was the most horrible experience I ever had with a cheeseburger and french fries burgers was very sloppy, and french fries was dripping with grease me and my coworker swore that will never go back there and we never did.
