What in the heck is going on? Got home with my over $30 order with a tip mind you, and the burger just didn't taste like normal. Not only that, I did see 3 people that ordered behind me get their order before mine. My son said his was terrible as well. The only thing I can think of is I tipped $1.50. Are these people expecting a 20% tip on a take out order? And now I am thinking if you don't tip to their satisfaction, they go into slow mode and god knows what they may have done to my burger. There are better options now folks. And I am no longer tipping at takeout. F that. I see less and less people at the Haggerty and Beck road location. Same great service we have had in the past. Same great burgers we have had in the past. Same great fries we have ... oops... rewind. This was the only thing that messed this visit up. The fries were quite floppy and undone. First time for disappointing fries. Can't really take them back. Not sure if they were in a rush to get them out to the other customers but just not we were expecting. We will still stop here but we will also be checking the fries before exiting. read more

This is the third time that I have tried Five Guys. The first two visits were at other locations and I was not impressed. I guess that each location is individually owned and the Northville restaurant has its act together. Had the cheeseburger with everything and loved it! Comparison to a double Big Mac wasn't even close and the price wasn't that much more. The small order of fries was enough for two people and were cooked just right. From my table I was able to watch the four workers who were busy and efficient. I noticed that the burgers were slightly smashed after flipping. As far as fast food burgers are concerned, I personally don't think it gets any better than Five Guys. This is coming from someone who's also had In-N-Out Burger and Whataburger. It's not enough that they allow you to customize your burger to your liking, but I think the bread is outstanding. I also love their fries and the fact that they give you free peanuts to munch on. My main advice though is when you order their burgers, try to eat them fresh instead of taking it to go because by the time you get home it gets kinda soggy and the bun is flat. I love Five Guys... I just can't understand why they charge soooo much $$$$. It always taste great and the service is always friendly and smiling. Never a bad experience but the price is just so high. I don't get it. Not comparing to in and out or whatabuger but a great fresh burger made consistently with great service and fresh ingredients doesn't have to cost $15. Family of five costs $80-$100 bucks with fries and drinks. It's still just a burger and fries. read more

We have visited this location many times and typically have a great experience. My husband visited today and ordered a Burger and Cajun Fries. The burger was delicious as usual. But the fries had WAY too much cajun seasoning sprinkled on them. He had three fries and had to throw the rest away. Ordered on the ACTUAL website (not doordash) to have food delivered. All 3 burgers we got were incorrect and had condiments and all sorts of things we didn't order. I called the store to tell them and they said we had to call doordash to re-submit our order? Or come and pick it up. What a waste of time.... I didn't want to bother with DoorDash customer service, so I said fine i'll come get it. The worker on the phone was rude and hung up on me after that. Burger was OK not worth $12. Got a chocolate shake really soupy.. they still have peanuts but no one's taking them because they give you a little half cup cardboard holder for the peanuts. This was my first time visiting a five guys in my life. I will be honest and upfront and stating that I do not believe I will ever attempt another location. The service was good, and that's the only reason I gave it a single start above one. The fries may have been freshly made, but sure as hell couldn't tell. There was so much salt and seasoning on them that it felt like my tongue was on fire. I'm a guy who likes salty foods, but when you cannot taste any potato over the salt, you're obviously over seasoning. Then comes the burger. I don't know what the hype is about this place. I got a single bacon cheeseburger, extra cheese, mayo, lettuce, ketchup and mustard. Pretty basic all things considered. Holy crap. First off, somehow it tastes like they didn't season the burger AT ALL. Secondly I wasn't aware (nor does the app, which is where I ordered) that they were double cheeseburgers (honestly not a problem, but if you don't know it's a lot). The bacon taste was lost in the pure greasiness of the burger patties. There was no texture to the burger, and the lettuce might as well not even been on the burger as it tasted wilted. I don't see how people like this place, as I've had better cheeseburgers from a sub place. For $14, I expected a LOT more,... not a grease trap in a bag. read more

Go to five guys to get your burgers and fries! I love that they're made fresh to order, and you can customize with a whole assortment of free toppings! I went with my go-to five guys order: a single cheeseburger with bacon. Yum. Unfortunately, when I visited for lunch, the employees (while masked) did not enforce masks. Two men walked in unmasked, and the employees neither asked them to put on masks or asked them why they were unmasked: they just let the two men walk up to the counter and order. It made me uncomfortable, and I was glad my order was up so that I could grab my lunch and leave. For this reason, I won't be back to this location until the pandemic is over. read more

This was our first time at Five Guys and this is a new location. Curbside pickup went well but I think they generally only have inside pickup or service here. The young man who delivered the meal to my car was very polite. The cheeseburgers were fantastic but the fries were a little cool and limp but there were plenty of them and they still tasted good. Still very "new." Portion sizes (fries) not consistent with other locations. Slow service for a limited menu burger franchise. I hope this will improve once business becomes steady/predictable. What is the deal with the loud music at Five Guys? Are they trying to drown out the staff chatter? It's almost as bad as Abercrombie & Fitch. This was not my usual experience with five guys! They were not serving french fries after 8:45 pm but store closes at 10 pm. Bags of potato available everywhere. No explanation given. Customer service is very poor. Workers do no look enthusiastic to work. Service is slow and the food lays a lot of time before being packaged. Not a hygienic scene especially during COVID. Good food, poor service. First time that I ordered on line I they left out two items so I had to drive back to pick up the rest. The second time my order was not there but went to another store. Drove to that store and had to wait nearly 20 minutes. Seems that in store orders take precedence over on line orders. Store pick up is chaos. read more
