a hamburger and fries on a table
Sara W.

Went to five guys for a quick burger. This was the first time we got Cajun fries Cajun seasoning on the side and it was really good that way! We had to wait longer than I wanted and also they didn't give us any extra fries in our bag even though we ordered a large so service and ambiance were a bit lacking. However this is fast food but it's what we were looking for. It's definitely not going to be my last time at five guys.

This isn't a review on the food as much as how long the wait took. My god, it's fast food, not slow AF food. There were two guys waiting idk how long in front of me to order food...there was one male employee in the kitchen part who obviously isn't blind and could have notified one of the other 3 employees in the back but he didn't. Finally a girl came out and helped them. I have no idea how long they were waiting. I'm STILL here waiting for my food and it's been almost 30 minutes. And to clarify, it wasn't packed with customers when I came in, nor is it now. Won't be ordering from this location again, the food isn't THAT good to justify the wait .

The only burgers I like & will go out of my way to get. Staff is friendly & there is always someone walking around cleaning, food came out quickly. Zero complaints except they need ranch for their fries! I'm fat, I like my ranch.

I count 30 open parking spaces, and one A-hole driving a red/maroon Hyundai Accent

Placed order anyway and went elsewhere for a snack. Food showed up in 50 min and it was every bit as good as it used to be. Crowded, football game was on and air was filled with greasy smoke since there is an open kitchen. Fries are no longer free, you have to buy them and no longer unlimited like 7 years ago. But still very good!

The bun is smaller, less plump and airy. Likewise, the hamburger meat is smaller, less juicy, less vegetables, where did the crinkle cut long pickles go? Why is there less sauce on the burger? Why are there less vegetables? It's like elements of the burger are being rationed. "Gradual changes are less noticeable over time, but they're still noticeable to the keen observer." --Albert Einstein Biting into a Classic Double used to be like biting into a large juicy apple. It used to be so big it was difficult to wrap your teeth around it; it was difficult to hold in two hands without it falling apart, stuffed with meat and vegetables, dripping with grease and cheese, that's what made it brilliant and excessive. A treat for when you wanted the perfect hamburger. "Yesterday's hamburger was equivalent to a small hockey puck served from 'Burgerville' or 'Jack in the Box'." --Wayne Gretzky I've been noticing a slow and steady decline in KB since they reduced the size of their burger boxes and started charging for bacon. As the packaging got smaller, so did their portions. The cooking wasn't good on this last visit either. "Well Done" by my definition means just the meat patty, it doesn't include cheese and bacon. If you overcook cheese it evaporates. Overcook bacon and it turns into brittle sticks. "Well done" simply means we don't want cool or tepid raw meat at the center of our burger. If you cook past well done, it becomes "extra well done", "overcooked" or "charred". My recent burger was overcooked when I asked for well done. "I currently rate the KB burger (3/5) and fries (3/5). The KB burger used to be (5/5) perfect." --this reviewer (10/10/2026) So, how does this compare with your competition? 'Five Guys' has the best fries (5/5) perfect fries, but their burger is (3/5). 'In-N-Out' has the best "mid" product (4/5) for both burger and fries, but now I'd rather eat at 'Five Guys' or 'In-N-Out' because their quality is better, and they're cheaper now too. KB used to be the "premium hamburger" option both in terms of cost and quality. These last few monthly visits to KB have me thinking they've stopped competing with 'Five Guys' and 'In-N-Out', and are now competing with 'Burgerville', 'Jack in the Box' and 'McDonalds'. If that's true, they're going to lose a lot of customers. I hope they figure it out.

Seriously one of my fav burger spots in PDX that I came here more than once! I'm a sucker for smash burgers so this place definitely hits the spot for me. Honestly after trying their peanut butter bacon burger here, it really got me more into sweet/savory dishes. I like how it's made to order and the crispy crust of the patty brings it together. The waffle fries are seasoned well and has a good crunch to it. Definitely recommend for your next burger craving!

Walking up to the business, there were at least 9 people, in a few different clumps, outside. I didn't know if they'd eaten, or were waiting. It ends up they were looking for another place to eat - not because of the quality of food, but instead the lack of adequate seating, and especially for larger groups. Ordering is at the front counter. One of the first things I want to make sure I say, is that all the employees were incredibly kind and patient. It's all crazy manic orders and trying to deliver them and deal with the turnover, but you wouldn't know that from how they treated us. The burger my son got was good. Not fantastic, but certainly tasty. The waffle fries? Insanely good. So good that my son and I turned to each other with wide eyes after our first bite.

Before Facebook could refresh the screen, I was sure too quickly Google search the brewery. I went onto their website as I was eager to get my hands on a case. He put me in contact with his guy Josh, who was working with their distributor to deliver this particular beer down to southern Oregon so my parents could pick it up for me. The distributor had issues getting the case down, but the folks at Binary Brewing kept in contact with me and continued to attempt delivery. After a second failed attempt by their distributor, Josh stepped up and delivered it down to Beerworks in Medford himself. I was able to enjoy the beer right as the newest book was released. I'm look forward to making my way up to Beaverton at some point and thank them both in person. Cheers to Tav, Josh & Binary Brewing, Co.
