I can't believe I haven't Yelped about 5 Guys yet! I went here for lunch today and was reminded about how much I love their burgers. And not just their burgers. Their fries are probably my favorite out of anywhere. I have been coming to this location for years and the service is always friendly. The parking lot is a disaster and has tiny spaces but that isn't really 5 Guys fault. My burger from here has always been tasty and made fresh. The wait to get your food after you order can be a pain but since they're making it fresh, it's usually worth it. I like that they have direct sizes of burgers and I'm definitely a Little Cheeseburger girl. I get ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onions (raw, not grilled) ALWAYS. But I do like that they have quite a few topping choices and you can choose as many as you like. I also get the Little Fries and they aren't so little because they don't just fill the container with fries, they also add a scoop to your bag. And every order comes in a brown paper bag, even if you are dining in. Basically, you're always getting a ton of fries. The fries are so tasty and always gave the perfect amount of salt. I don't know if it's because they fry them in peanut oil but they always just taste so darn good. If you haven't been to a 5 Guys yet, you need to get yourself there like yesterday. read more

Everyone working here is so friendly and attentive, it's like they are all the owner and care about your experience. I came in today and asked for a bun less burger and they immediately asked if it was an allergy, shouted out to the cooks and they changed their gloves. Myself and family consistently have a great experience here. read more

I have been here a few times and every time i come i am never disappointing well this time i was very satisfied, there food was so good and the fries were fresh and made to order. The service was pretty good they were very fast in giving us our food even though the place was pretty busy as it always is specially during lunch time. The place is kept clean and well organized as far as were to get condiments and your soft drink and plenty of places to sit with free peanuts before or after your meal. Definitely gets four stars the only reason i do not give it five stars is because this place is over priced for two people, two fries, two hamburgers and two soft drinks =$22.00 bucks, I know it is located in a "Upscale" area and they probably pay a fortune for rent but they need to lower the prices a bit even though the food is very good and the fries are not as greasy as the ones you find in Mcdonalds. Also you can get as many toppings in your hamburger as you want and they also offer Hot-dogs,the hamburgers are a pretty good size and if you don't want a double burger you can get a "mini" burger. read more

This place is delish - I normally get the one patty hamburger which then I add on the (free) additions: the basics like mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, ketchup.. and then some others which you don't always find grilled mushrooms, green peppers, jalapeno peppers. For those who don't desire the burger they offer hots dogs, veggie sandwich and grilled cheese but I'm such a carnivore that I cannot resist that juice burger. The little burger is a simple one patty whereas the hamburger is two. The fries which comes in a medium or large (which will feed three!) are yummy. Oh.. and there's free peanuts which you can snack on till your meal arrives. read more

Would you like a burger with those fries? My goodness, the amount of French fries you get at this place. Unbelievable! Haha. They can't give you enough, it seems. Seriously, order anything with fries and then see what your bag is filled with. :) Okay, on to the real assessment. This place is great! I don't really eat red meat anymore, but when I did I loved coming here. You can get just about any topping imaginable on your burgers here. I used to order them all sorts of different ways: one with A-1, onions, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce ... another with barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard ... I don't know, I just had fun thinking of different ways to get mine. To me, that was half the fun. I see that they have vegetarian options, which is good ... since that doesn't rule me out from going here ever again. Though ... I have a feeling that I may cave in eventually and have a hamburger here, since they're so good. I don't know ... I've been to this location and to one near I-Drive, and both were similar. Had a great time - and great food - at each. Recommended to all burger fans. And, if you're a French fry fan ... well, this place is nirvana, at least volume-wise! read more

The good: Burgers are awesome, so are the fries. The bad: Atmosphere. Unless you're an emo kid with ADHD that loves music being played ear splittingly loud, plus the entire restaurant reeks of onions, which I hate. The bottom line: I would love to get food here more often, but I absolutely hate going in there. They might want to put a take out window up for us old farts over 25. read more

Ordering was easy online. Everyone working was wearing masks properly which made me feel comfortable and safe. Fries made fresh!

Greatest fast food burger joint in the west. Huge, authentic patty. I always get the works. Free peanuts while you wait, which is great. Friendly staff. Quick orders (burgers are made right in front of you). With all these plusses, you can definitely justify the price (which is just a few more bucks than a big mac). I came on a day that apparently wasn't very busy, and ordered the fries. They said they had a ton, and asked whether I wanted the rest of them since they were just having an off-day - lol. Who would say no? They immediately fries a bunch of potato slices and gave me the whole paper bag of fries haha. Was enough for 3 college boys :D The fries are either cajun or regular, I don't like cajun much. The burger bun itself is really good. Five Guys forever :D read more

When I want a burger - this is the ONLY place to go! Love the idea of the smaller burger for us lighter eaters. Also have the best fries, just make sure you bring an appetite! read more

I come to Five Guys when I need a big 'ol, sinfully greasy yet equally delicious burger. Keep in mind, there are no "value meals" here, so everything else you order (fries, drink, etc) is a la carte. The awesome thing about five guys is that all of their toppings are free so you can pile on as many as you want, according to your taste buds, at no additional charge. I also appreciate the open kitchen concept where you get to see your food being prepared. This location is great because you can eat in then walk a few steps to Coldstone for dessert :-) read more

I was first introduced to Five Guys when I lived in Washington DC. It quickly became one of my favorite places to eat. The food is fresh, I personally love the bacon cheeseburger, and they give you more than enough fries to fix my craving. The cashier who assisted me was kind, smiley, and attentive. She really helped make the experience wonderful. I expect nothing less. I came with my family during a busy time but our food came out hot and in a timely manner. I am grateful!!! It doesn't taste like fast food here, the food doesn't taste processed and full of fillers. It tastes home cooked and isn't rushed. I'm stomach is happy and so are my tastebuds. read more

This place turned me away bc I had a 50$ bill for my 45$ order. I asked where the signs were. Manager said they could not post any signs to inform customers of this and they could only post FiveGuy logo posters. I'm not sure if the owner would be happy about turning away a order this large bc of a change issue. I'm sure it's a case by case circumstance. I understand if I only ordered 1 item but I ordered 4 burgers, 1 large fry and 2 beverages. I will not be returning to this one or any others. Very bad business practice. Horrible experience and kids left disappointed. read more

Well here I am at five guys and ordered a veggie burger go figure . I'll let you know after the taste test. Phenomenal burger and guess what I don't feel like being run over by a steam roller. I would definitely order this again. The fries, well how can go wrong with something grown in Idaho. Awesome and easily shareable. read more

Great burgers with a great choice of toppings. Usually get little cheeseburger because the regular are so large. Fries are awesome and plentiful. read more

Awful five guys, extremely inefficient with an excessive amount of inept employees. My second attempt before writing the review and just as bad. If Bengel owns this one I suggest you take an unannounced visit. One topping maker wipes his nose and eats fries, while complaining how big the line is. Extremely disgusting and health code violations left and right at this store. No one knows how or cares how to make a milkshake. They are disgusting runny milk. Not even close to how they are suppose to be made. I've watched person after person complain and excuses of the machine or the mix is their response. Manager sits back and just watches without care. Avoid this location. read more

five guys is the one place that satisfies my burger cravings. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger (by default, normal burgers have 2 patties). i get a side of fries too. this simple pair of food is just amazing. the place has friendly service, too. overall, 10/10, will go again. read more

It's a decent hamburger, but I don't get all the hype. I guess it's supposed to taste like a hamburger you can make yourself at home, without the hassle of going into Hell-Mart for meat and then burning yourself on your George Foreman grill. For the price of not having to cook, I'm willing to put up with a lack of ambiance, an average burger and children throwing french fries everywhere (there must be a chemical in the food that causes kids to freak out). read more

I love a good burger! I do not love Five Guys' burgers. I had heard so much talk about this place, and then my husband and the boys came home raving about it after lunch one day so needless to say, I tried it. Ewwww. Talk about a greasy joint. The greasy burgers is actually what my husband loves about the place. That and the fries that come in paper bags that are slick from all the oil. Uh, not my idea of yumminess! For me the negatives are the overly greasy food, it's pricey and the nightmarish parking lot (not their fault). The positives ... sweet tea, the food is fresh (I'll give it that), free peanuts ( this is what I eat while the boys chow down), and Dwight Howard's appearances! Yep, we met him in there one day ... a super nice guy, but this isn't about Dwight! Oh yeah, one more positive ... Cold Stone and Winestyles is right next door and I'm down with that! To each his own, right? Enjoy (or not)! read more

Hey Five Guys corporate..."what is the point of calling ahead if you still have to wait 20 minutes for a burger?" This location sucks at building burgers efficiently. Love five guys but will never visit this location again. read more

Great food friendly people. Had a problem with my previous order and I informed the manager Sam, who was able to correct the next order.

It may be that Five Guys was talked up so much that by the time I got there, I was expecting edible diamonds and platinum. My experience at Five Guys, however, was more like visiting a kids cooking camp. I'd give it another shot just based on the reviews of others, but for now, my vote is pass on this and go to Backyard Burger. A few reasons: 1- They didn't have ranch dressing. Ranch is a MUST. The fact that they looked at me like I had 12 heads when I asked was a bit absurd. 2- My first, and only time there, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Apparently a cheeseburger really meant two, so when I realized that I asked to change my order. That involved getting the manager. 3- The manager was a jerk! I think he actually referenced having 12 heads for my lack of knowledge on Five Guys burger terminology. It took about 5-10 minutes for him to agree to cancel my order, which involved several credit card swipes, placing a new order from the beginning, and piercing glares from all of the counter employees. 4- The burger sucked! Maybe they were having a bad day. Maybe they threw mine on the floor (KIDDING) for the travesty that was changing my order, but it tasted terrible. 5- I ordered regular fries but the seasoning was so hot I thought I'd have to call the fire department. It seems like I'm the only one in the world, from what I can tell so far, who actually dislikes Five Guys. Props to you all for putting up with it, I am not a fan. read more

Ya know - I don't usually review chains and corporations. But Five Guys,... ohhhhhh Five Guys. I just wanted to say "Thank You." Your little cheeseburger with extra pickles, mustard, mayo, ketchup, and sauteed mushrooms has gotten me through COUNTLESS hungover mornings (and by mornings, I mean 4pm on Sunday.) I call my order in, wait 10 minutes, put on sunglasses, grab a friend and try not to scare the children and families as I breeze past them all in line to grab my brown paper bag full of delicious grease, and of course a giant cup for sweet tea. And that's why, despite my diet and work-out regime, I'll be back. Because with a hangover cure like this, there's no reason for me to stop partying any time soon. read more

This is not worth it. It's been 25 minutes after we placed an order, and 15 minutes after half of the order was completed. I just asked about the second one 5 minutes ago and was told it is still being made. Same thing too, nothing fancy. A burger. :) So I ate mine, and the person with me ate fries. Amazing place if you want to eat alone, annoy your company, and in the process be annoyed yourself. Update: finally asked the manager for a refund for the sandwich that was not made. Got no word, as if he was pissed he had to give me a refund. Our first visit here. Absolutely never going back. read more

So, being a vegetarian, I don't usually go to burger joints. But I was on a bank run with a friend and we were trying to get in a quick lunch, and this place was right next to the bank, so we stuck our heads in to see if there would be anything I could eat without having to get back in the car. And, surprise! The 12- or 14-item menu actually included three veggie selections - Veggie Sandwich, Veggie Cheese Sandwich, and Grilled Cheese! I can't really add much to Shaun's thorough review, other than one large order of French fries is enough for three people, and they offer brewed sweet and unsweet tea, instead of the typical soda fountain crap. Yay! read more

Great burger!!! Taste and looks like I cooked it myself. Loved the chopped onion and real fresh jalapeño. Gotta give props to the staff, gave them a pretty complicated order for five people, and it came out hot, fresh, and correct. Gluttony. I made the mistake of not ordering a "little burger," which is only one hamburger patty. Instead, then I added all kinds of toppings. Went topping CRAZY. Mayo, mustard, relish, ketchup, tomatoes, lettuce, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, pickles...AND cheese AND two hamburger patties... Couldn't hold it all together, man. It was tasty, though, but those FRIES are just great. read more

All cheeseburgers are not created equal. At least that is what I have determined from my visit to Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Anymore, it seems like even the farthest reaches of the world have been adorned with a B.K. Lounge or the golden arches. The burger has become commonplace and an afterthought. Thankfully, Five Guys is here to offer their shock paddles to the taste buds of America. Most notably about Five Guys is their super simple attitude. From the moment you enter, the red and white tiled atmosphere says, "Great burgers sold here." Above the register hangs a large sign presenting you with a passport to deliciousness. The choices are simple: hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon burger, bacon cheeseburger. From there you can add on a myriad of toppings at no additional charge. Conventional toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and pickles are a given. However, Five Guys has managed to go above and beyond by adding fried onions, A-1 Steak Sauce, and even sautéed mushrooms. For those with a lighter appetite their burgers can be ordered in a "little" version which comes as a single patty instead of the double stack. Consider saving room for some of the delicious fries served either regular or with a Cajun seasoning. While the claim to fame is certainly the burgers, the menu offers a few other choices such as hotdogs (cheese and bacon optional) and grilled cheese. As if the place couldn't get any better, peanuts in the shell are complimentary while you wait and they serve Coca-Cola products to wash it all down. Five Guys will please everyone from burger connoisseurs to those just looking to make their stomachs happy. Five Guys uses fresh and never frozen meat alongside the freshest toppings, key to making a great burger. Also, the element of surprise when it comes to cooking has been eliminated. Most fast food places have a cramped kitchen filled with who knows what. From the moment the order is placed every step can be observed, from grill to dressing table to signature brown bag, quality and taste are guaranteed. By far one of the best burgers in Orlando. Tips: The burgers are a pretty good size as it is, but the fries are something else. Unless you have a monstrous appetite, I suggest splitting your fries with someone. read more

Five Guys - Burgers Near Me - Altamonte Springs, Florida

In theory, I love Five Guys but the reality is that I kind of don't. To clarify, what burger fan can say no to a big juicy burger delivered on a toasty bun with really good french fries? Done and done-now what...There is nothing else to grab onto to keep me coming back unless someone asks me to go there with them. The burger variety isn't as great as many other places..especially the newer breed of upscale gourmet-style burger facilities. The prices always seem to be more expensive than you would think-probably because the fries come in a way too large portion and are priced accordingly. The ambiance doesn't lend itself to sitting down and enjoying your burger. Everything about being here is rushed and chaotic. Arguably, the store is way too small as seating is very limited for the crowd that is usually here. Even though my burger and fries have always been tasty enough I feel perturbed every time I come here. Frankly, nowadays, I can get a similarly good burger at Wendy's if I want something close or quick...or I can go a little more upscale and get way more variety at a gourmet burger shop such as Pine 22 if I want to sit and take my time. Verdict on Five Guys (at least this location)...burgers mostly good with a fairly pedestrian range of options, fries very good but portions are too large and expensive... ambiance-nothing short of chaos unless a quiet roar is in your vocabulary...parking...mostly chaotic with lots of SUVs and trucks parking in the spots marked as Compact Vehicle Only....Is Five Guys worth the effort...Meh... read more

* Prices are high - too high. **Regular ($5) burger is a double. Small is a single. What a sloppy mess (even every picture on the net shows this). Not quite sure how this uninspired concept gets rated so high. I've given it two chances and both time have been disappointing. Meat is an unseasoned mess. Nothing special about their fries. Service was scattered and lackluster (not that I expect 5 star service from a fast food joint). Backyard Burger has Five Guys beat for a burger joint (great tasty burgers, fries and shakes). I just wish BB had a sit-down site in the area (their potato soup rocks and only seems to be available at locations with a diner). NOTE: As a friend and I sat and looked through our bag meal, in both bags, as many fries that were in their holder were also thrown in the bag. What a waste. read more

Let me start by saying I love Five Guys. The burgers are great, the fries are awesome. I LOVE THEIR ICED TEA. I'm a snobby iced tea drinker and I REALLY REALLY REALLY love it. That being said, here's what I don't like about Five Guys. First of all, the burgers (although tasty) are always greasy. I understand a certain amount of grease is normal but I usually need two or three napkins to keep my hands clean. Wtf. Second, the portions are WAY too big. My stomach is not that big and I always feel like I have to cut my sandwich in half and take it home. Don't get my started on the fries. I really like them but my fiance always have to share one order because I couldn't eat all that. Again, I really like Five Guys but I would like them more if they lowered the prices and the sizes of basically everything. read more

Ok, I like Five Guys, but what is up with the amount of fries they give one person? I eat like a damn pig and I can't finish those fries. Burgers are good. I like their hot dogs best. But for two people, it's like 25 bucks for a couple burgers, fries and soft drinks. I think that's kinda high. Best burger between Five Guys and Backyard Burgers? Backyard Burger. read more

I don't eat meat, and I barely eat "fast food." So what was I doing at Five Guys, you ask? Well, I was in town visiting my pregnant friend and her family so I went wherever they took me. I actually like the grilled cheese from here though, I just don't like paying so much for it. Everything here is a little expensive, and they definitely get you by pricing everything separately instead of having any meals. But I guess it kind of makes up for it when you get your bag of fries.. I definitely recommend getting regular fries and sharing between at least two people. It felt like I had two servings and I only ate one. read more

Craving a burger and Five Guys was the closest/best option when you just want a quick burger (that isn't fast food). It took awhile for us to be recognized as customers and have our order taken. Then when we proceeded to find a clean table, we gave up and cleaned our own. There was food and/or trash on all tables and all over the floor. It was about 4:30pm on a Friday and only two other tables filled with customers, no one else in line after us. However, the entire time we were there no one cleaned up anything in the customer area. The bacon was burnt to a crisp. On the bright side - the rest of the burger was good and the fries were piping hot and tasty. A cleaner restaurant and better service would go a long way to bump up my rating! read more

Peanuts!! Oh wait...I came here for a burger....but yay! Peanuts while you wait. +1 I love Five Guys. Fresh hamburger patties cooked on a flat top, buns toasted on the same flat top, and your selection of whatever toppings they offer on their menu. (+1 for building your own burger!) So if you don't like your burger...it's probably your fault for either: a.) Picking out the wrong toppings yourself b.) Coming to get a gourmet burger at a fast food joint And the burgers are huge. (+1 for quality, and value!) I usually get the mini burger and it's the size of a normal burger. Oh, and no kids menu here. This is straight up adult size portions. :) The fries are ridiculous. You can get regular or cajun, and they offer ketchup or malt vinegar. (+1 for malt vinegar!) And if you do order fries, seriously, get the small...it's enough to feed half an army. But I guess if you have an army of an appetite, go large. :) I normally split an order of small fries with someone and we can never finish them. I'm curious about trying out the hot dogs too but a little suprised that they don't offer sausages since they're more for those with a heartier appetite. (Ok....actually, it's my wishful thinking and hope that they'll consider adding brats to their menu) :) read more

I wasn't sure if I should rate 3 or 4 stars. The burgers are okay. but a little on the soggy side. Although that could be because we've been getting take out the last couple times. so a warm burger wrapped in foil may be the cause of that. To top it off the burgers make me nauseous a couple hours after I eat them. I dont eat here much but the last couple times this has happened. its possible im just not used to eating greasy food often. there was a time I could eat McDonalds several times a week. now just the thought of a burger from there sickens me. the cajun frys are awesome though. the staff is friendly. so all in all. if your looking for decent food, 5 guys should do just fine. read more
