Vanilla Cream and Milk Chocolate Sprinkles
Daniel B.

I tried two donuts - the vanilla cream and chocolate sprinkled, and both were so delicious. Even at 7 PM they tasted fresh and had the perfect donut texture and flavor. I could've eaten so many of these donuts with how delicious they were.

I was looking for a gift for a co-worker and saw someone eating a delicious looking donut. They told me they got it from Five Daughters and highly recommended the vanilla crème. I found them in the back corner or the food stall downstairs and I ordered it and it was amazing. I also ordered the cinnamon roll to have for my breakfast the next day. It was really good too.

Yes ! YES ! to every flavor !!! Big fan of the cinnamon bun too. The one with cinnamon and cream cheese frosting on top is TOP TIER ! The flavors are so fun to choose from - from regular glazed to strawberry lemonade. All of them are super fluffy and have many layers of delectable buttery goodness. Would highly recommend a stop here if you're in Ponce City Market - amongst all the great places here, it's a star!

The Purist is a hundred layers of flakey goodness cut into a donut shape, deep fried, and glazed with the songs of angels.

First, I have to admit what a hopeless romantic I am, and I love a good American success story. Five Daughters Bakery is a great American success story. And their success is well deserved. Their shop in Ponce City Market is always immaculately clean, well stocked (in the morning) with friendly staff who take the time to explain the seasonal offerings. If the flakiest butteriest most delicate croissant you've ever eaten fell madly in love with the hottest, softest, sweetest donut you've ever tasted, these CroNuts would be their children. Their delicious delicious children. I like to eat one cronut in the atrium amid all the shops for the sights, sounds, and vibes. And so I don't have to share with anyone.

Sugary perfection! I tried the caramel apple, double chocolate (chocolate frosted and filled), and cinnamon cream cheese cronuts! They were all delicious! Buttery, flaky, soft, pillowy... My favorite was the chocolate frosted and filled one. I liked that the filling wasn't too heavy- it had a lighter, airy, whipped texture. I also really enjoyed the cheesecake frosting which topped the cinnamon cronut. The layers really make these 'donuts' stand out. The caramel apple flavor tasted too much like artificial apple for my liking. I still enjoyed it, just not as much as the others. Overall, I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

Croissant donut lover here!! Never leave Ponce without getting "The Purist" donut! It is my favorite one and the layers are so delicious! Must try donut place! Sometimes they are out of donuts if you go near the time they close, so go early! The ambiance is surrounded by other bakeries in the corner of Ponce's Food Hall! Service is always welcoming and sweet!

All of the donuts here are amazing and I believe most of them come with a vanilla buttercream filling. I always get the maple glaze donut. 10/10 every time. I've tried others like the chocolate sea salt and the salted caramel apple as well. These are really good but the maple glaze is a step above.

Definitely worth getting a couple of delicious donuts while checking out the Ponce City Market. The apple fritter and the vanilla cream were two of our favorites today. The PCM in itself is very cool.

This past Sunday, I treated myself to an afternoon delight at Five Daughters Bakery, located on the first level of Ponce City Market. Even with the crowds buzzing through the market, the staff kept things moving smoothly--I was in and out in no time! After a quick scan of the display, I settled on The Purist, Strawberry Glazed, and a Mini Shortcake. Each one was so good--soft, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The flavors were well-balanced, and you could tell they're crafted with care. One of my favorite parts? The thoughtful touch of a Bible verse printed on the box--a small detail that left a big impression. If you're ever craving a sweet treat in Atlanta, I definitely recommend stopping by Five Daughters. Your taste buds will thank you!

After 5 year I can back to Atlanta and my 1st stop was here! The donuts are big and fresh but the flavor is not good, the Boston cream the chocolate is to dark and for the other donuts are to fatty. The sugar plum has a very artificial flavor and too sweet

So I'm giving a 5 star review even though I don't actually get to eat what I bought. I bought a pumpkin spice latte donut (because hello fall) and a vegan purist donut (because the regulars were hyping everything up). Honestly, I hadn't planned to buy anything, but the gentleman working was so engaging in convincing that I decided to try a few things. Unfortunately, my husband "misunderstood" my comment to him that I bought him a treat home. By the time I came to eat my pumpkin spice latte donut, there were no donuts in the house, and even the box was already in the trashcan out back. I do plan to try it one day, but it won't be now.

So this particular Five Daughters is located in Ponce De Leon Market. We love Five Daughters. The doughnuts are always moist and flavorful. I can't say I have one that is a favorite because they're all SO good! The service is always impressive as it's a small space but they're always efficient. The cute space is small but gives you what you need.

Ordered the apple cider donut and the apple pie donut which were both vegan. I ate my donuts the following day which I do not recommend but the flavor was good. The icing was balanced. I didn't taste straight sugar which is good. I will say they need to have more dairy-free options. I know it's Autumn but not everything needs to be apple flavored. Where's the pumpkin spice? Or Vegan Caramel?

Food & Drink (35%): 2/2 There's a huge variety of options, including some very creative offerings. The quality is excellent, and I really appreciate that they warm up your selections for you. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared. Personal Enjoyment (25%): 2/2 I genuinely loved the experience. It's the kind of bakery that makes you excited to explore the menu and try different things. Value (15%): 2/2 We got seven items for $42, averaging about $6 per item. I didn't pay close attention to every individual price, but for a craft bakery offering this level of quality and creativity, the overall price felt very reasonable. Service & Hospitality (15%): 2/2 Great service! The staff was fast, attentive, and pleasant to interact with. Everything went smoothly and made the experience even more enjoyable. Atmosphere & Experience (10%): 2/2 The space is surprisingly large, with high ceilings and plenty of bar seating and areas suitable for working on a laptop. It's a genuinely enjoyable place to sit down and eat. It can get crowded, understandably given its popularity, but that didn't detract significantly from my experience. Overall: 10/10 5/5 stars I use a weighted five-category rubric that considers food quality (35%), personal enjoyment (25%), value (15%), service (15%), and atmosphere (10%). Importantly, I judge places relative to their category. A neighborhood bakery should be evaluated as a bakery, not compared to a fine-dining restaurant. The Little Tart earned full marks in all five categories. Excellent food, enjoyable atmosphere, attentive service, and reasonable pricing. Definitely a bakery I'd recommend!

It tastes like gingerbread in a cup. You can pick out every note, from the cinnamon all the way through to the coffee, and no flavor drowns out the others. We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

Saying it was delicious would be an understatement, it was phenomenal the quality of the beef, the saltiness , the soft warm bun. It was so good after every bite he was proclaiming how amazing it was, and truthfully, I agreed! We arrived at about 12:50 PM, and I'd say we were out of the bakery at about 1:35 PM along with our burgers we each got a cookie I decided on a butterscotch millet one butterscotch is a flavor that I'm personally in love with and it screams Fall to me, it was a great treat to finish off my meal with and flavor forward thankfully! My only note for the burger would probably be just that some more of the aioli would've been much appreciated. Otherwise, I know where I'll be in line Sunday's going forward waiting for that famous flag to fly. I'm hoping to try some of their savory pastries in the future, they all sound delicious, and the sausage roll was definitely something. I was hoping to snag, I wouldn't say pickings were slim around the time we arrive, but there were definitely some items that didn't make it till noon. Parking for us was relatively easy, there is maybe about 4 to 5 spots directly next to the butcher/bakery that they share with Arden's garden, and ample street parking. Staff was super kind, I wanted to grab our cookies first, so they actually remembered me and said welcome back when I made my way back in with my boyfriend who was buying our burgers which I thought was silly and nice! (: I'm an active home baker so I always find it amazing to see what it looks like inside any pastry case, and I was able to get some information on their various breads through these informative cards they have - at home I tend to only make focaccia, but I loved having the insights into the process they use for all the loaves they have. After the sampler, I was done desserting. Yep, sampler. Why settle for one flavor when you can try them all? Well, six. Six. I tried six. And each one was excellent. The staffer was patient and helpful in leading me to a mix that would satisfy my desire to be a bit broad in my tastes but never traveling too far from sweet. Savory is not the move when it comes to these treats. My journey to France by way of Atlanta started with chocolate then went to raspberry violette (what???) then I went to the circus with cotton candy. I got a bit traditional with salted caramel, stayed there with nutella and finished up with creme brulee. When I tell you each macaron was better than the first... wow. You definitely get what you pay for -- so this wouldn't be an everyday splurge but... when you get a hankering pay for the real deal. Your tastebuds will thank you. If you're gonna go, go all in.
