We lost her when she was only 10 years old, so her birthday is a very special and emotional day for our family. We had a miscommunication about her birthday cake at another bakery and, because it was such short notice, we called several places hoping someone could help us. Unfortunately, everyone told us they couldn't accommodate us. Then we called Jewel in St. Charles, and Stephanie didn't hesitate for a second. She told us she could have the cake ready by 2:00 PM today. She didn't make us feel like we were asking for too much or that our last-minute request was a burden. She simply wanted to help. You have no idea what that meant to our family. Being able to celebrate our daughter's birthday today with her favorite cake, Snoopy, means more than I could ever put into words. Stephanie showed such kindness and compassion at a time when our hearts are already hurting. She went above and beyond to make sure we could have this special part of our daughter's birthday celebration. Thank you, Stephanie, for helping make a very difficult day a little brighter. We will never forget your kindness. Please know that what may have seemed like "just a cake" to you meant so much more to our family. Well organized and I noticed that they had their pants organized by size which was nice for people looking through versus having to dig and dig. This one seems pretty new and must have just opened. It even smelled good and not dusty and old like some of the other thrift stores.

I came in to pick up the prescription for my wife who had arthroscopic surgery on her leg earlier in the morning. I needed to pick up aspirin for her to relieve possibility of blood clots and a a pain killer prescription. I spend abut 10 minutes looking at the wide variety of aspirins. I went to the counter and asked him and he told me I should select a low dose and something else which I cannot recall at the moment. He also told me the aspirins are included in the prescriptions and explained to me the dossages and frequency of the pain killer and the aspirins. I was very nervous coming from the my wife's surgery and he took time to explain the prescritions and dosages. Thank you so very much. This is why we have been using Walgreens since I was a kid growing up in Chicago, the employees care about their customers.

She has told us she has been here almost 20 years and she is always so friendly, talkative, helpful, and just very jovial. She says she loves her job and we always go to her line when we see her here and have many times just engaged in small talk with her. Employees like this are rare, so thank you to Sonu and I am sure various other great employees we just simply may not be aware of.

Aldi gives better value and quality on all items. There's no b-grade produce here which is disturbing to see corporations happy to price gouge consumers and ruin farmers excess. So tragic this country has no curb or control on waste or efficiency, the same goes for business policies. Employee treatment remains too low for the massive income generated each year. Walmart selection and brand options are overwhelming without being that well priced. Ice cream is especially obnoxious to see how little five bucks gets now. Only Target makes everything here look fair.
