On top of that, out of the 24 regular checkout lanes, they only ever open lanes #21-24, and usually no more than two at a time--all located on the grocery side. That means if you park near the electronics entrance, you're forced to walk all the way across the store just to check out. The result? Constant backups and long lines that could easily be avoided. It's baffling why they won't open the other self-checkout section or spread out the lanes.
