I love the staff here, because they remember me when I come in and I feel like it is my neighborhood corner store like those that I grew up with. I'm 53 and I still feel that nostalgic friendliness with a genuine happy heart goes a long way. I can always find everything I need and I have so much fun going through the clearance aisles and special sales. I love the way holidays are decked out to the max and fun gifts and decorations are on point and a bargain. The shelves are organized and the aisle are well lit. Clothing fabrications reflect those needs, too, with light and airy options that won't make us sweat (I shopped in April). Fitting rooms were nicely-sized, with a solid door (not a curtain), and a chair. One gripe... there were only two hooks for clothes (I like to have hooks for "Try On," "Buy," and "Put Back" options). Within the fitting room, but outside the individual stalls, was a three-way mirror so you could get a really good look at your outfit to make sure you'll look good coming AND going! As I said at the beginning, the check-out staff was what really dropped the quality of my experience. There was no employee at one counter, so I went to the other one, where there was one lady doing a return, and doing it *very* slowly... It took her probably 5 minutes to complete it AFTER I'd already gotten there, so who really knew how long it took from start to finish! I think it took 15 minutes for me to check out with my two simple items. However, even though she was slow, the cashier was extremely friendly, so a point in her favor! When I arrived parking was convenient. There are a ton of spaces available. I was a little bummed about their Christmas stock. There weren't a ton of items there. It's still not December, so maybe they'll have a chance to add some items to this section. I will say, Dollar Tree is no longer the $1.00 tree, or the $1.25 tree, it's not the multiple dollars tree. Items range from $1.25 to at least $7. Which is a bummer. I did go over to their birthday section and was able to get some birthday candles, balloons, and streamers for an upcoming birthday. We had just left a soap shop, where my friend purchased some soap and put the soap in her pocket as it was one bar. As we were standing in the front of this store, an older woman, who turned out to be the manager, came to her employee at the front and whispered something in her ear. I didn't really pay much attention at the time but something felt off about it. At the same time they were trying to pull items in from the rain that had just started. We were then followed the rest of the time we were in the store and as we were leaving questioned if we wanted to purchase anything. After I left my friend said they had mentioned something about her pickpocketing and were staring at her pockets. It all made sense what we had experienced. I called and spoke to that manager explaining what had happened and my disappointment. She first blamed it on new staff till it was revealed SHE was the older woman who whispered in the woman's ear. She was rude and defensive and ultimately hung up on me saying "Sorry YOU were uncomfortable." This was blatant racism and profiling and I highly suggest you don't shop at such a disgusting place.
