We walked around, we looked at a lot of stuff, but I'm not looking to become a hoarder. So I passed on everything. Seems like some of the food we looked at, was expired, or expiring soon. So, look at the dates before you buy. I think I will pass on any food. I looked at the wine, just running my eyes though the wine section, finally I found one, I like red wine, it wasn't at eye level, I had to look a shelf down. I purchased 1 bottle; it was $3.99, and my wine app couldn't tell me anything about it. And I didn't like it! I might go back and get a floor rug, but other than that, if I'm in the area, I might stop in. Customer service was ok.

Ehhh, I can't recommend this place…read more Lots of expired groceries! Expired everything, in fact. Other liquidation stores in Jax have occasional expired goods, but this store is FULL of expired stuff. Dangerous, and idk how it's legal. I found my way here out of curiousity to explore the various liquidation centers in Jax. As a Philadelphian, we have a few of these places starting to pop up, but the Jax ones are well established and have been there a long while. I feel sad for lower income shoppers who either don't know better or have no means of getting around to other stores, but this place is not only full of dangerously expired goods (which ought to be given to a food pantry for IMMEDIATE USE, or thrown out), they are overpriced at that. Coincidentally, I saw inventory there that I'd shopped at other stores. Some Cat&Jack (Target brand) pjs were $6.99 but they had been on clearance direct from Target a month before for $5!!!! Also, plush Rudolph reindeer priced at $7.99 had also been $5 on clearance at BJs! These are not deals, folks! I bought absolutely NOTHING and that is hard for me to do at a discount store. I can always turn trash to treasure and fix up or repurpose anything to help myself or my charity efforts, and I felt dirty to touch things in this store. I sent my husband and child to the car because I didn't want them around it all. Super disappointed and sad for the people who have no other options but to shop here.

I was curious about these liquidation stores in Jax. There are several, some stand-alones, some…read morelocal chains. A few have 2-3 locations but each liquidator is a separate family business. We don't have stores like this in my hometown Philadelphia, so after a Jax Zoo trip, we checked out a few liquidators. Daily Dealz is different from the rest. Other liquidators have the traditional price tag set up, stock on shelves, etc. but DD aims to clear stuff out as fast as possible, throwing truckloads in store bins, and letting customers sort it all out. They have new inventory every Friday, when bin items = $10. Prices go down each day until Wednesday when everything in bins is $1! The day I went, Monday, everything in the bins was $4. Not the cheapest day, not the most expensive. Going in I assumed most had been picked over, and it looked that way. It took time to sort through a lot of stuff I didn't value over $1-$2 (although others would probably value it higher) to find anything I wanted to pay $4 for. It feels like a returns warehouse when you enter. I've been to scratch and dent appliance outlets and such, but many of the items I saw were open box, had suffered some damage, or were plain used and returned. If you made a little effort, you could sort to find the closeout items, which were new with tags, but past season (limited color and size options, of course). My guess is, in addition to networking local retailers purging old stock, they also buy those big Amazon returns lots available online. The longer it took me to dig, the more ready I was to leave, and the more discerning I got about what items were worth my effort. I am trying to learn the meaning of diminishing returns in all areas of life, and shopping is a big one for me. Just as I was about to give up on DD, I found some worthy "dealz"; brand new kids' rain boots $4/pr, brand new wooden birdhouses $4, new Target (Cat & Jack) kids' casual canvas shoes $4/pr, and a returned dog backpack carrier $4 (to donate). I was happy with these deals, but ready to quit the hunt. I regretted not buying more birdhouses, and probably would've found more worthy buys if I kept looking, but it wasn't worth more time with other stops on my Jax trip. You must rely on their social media accounts for sales, price updates, and alerts to special liquidation lots they may get. They do answer the phone if you need to call with questions but their social media is more informative. They do take credit cards! They have another location on the west side of the city.

The food is always super fresh--produce is beautiful, the bakery smells amazing, and the deli gets it right every time. I've never had a bad experience here, which says a lot considering how often I'm in and out! It's little things like being greeted with a smile, aisles that are actually easy to navigate, and consistently stocked shelves that make this store stand out. I'm so grateful to have this Publix close by!

Upfront: This area of town has needed a grocery for quite some time. When folks learned a Publix was coming to the area the excitement folks had was an understatement. Now that it is open...you see nothing but smiles from shoppers and employees! This store opening is such a blessing and a much needed change for folks in this area. The store is slightly smaller than most Publix, but still bigger than a few. They don't carry some things, but hey...they are just opening. Likewise, they have a huge selection on some things that you don't see at other Publix. They have all the basics and necessities. I was asked several times if I needed help finding something and they made a note of "it" to try to order it and/or have it in stock if they could...this is a nice gesture. Opening a new store in any area is a crap shoot even for a big chain...they can have a lot, but still not know until the store opens as to what will sell "there". Be patient please! Even if it's not cost effective to carry certain things at this location...it's ok. Why? Because there is a grocery there now...this is huge!!! Thank you Publix!!! Other than the above...it's a Publix...you know the deal! It's the best Florida has to offer. It'll never be a Kroger or a Lowe's Signature, but hey...we finally have a grocery store so it's something! It is located in the new area of "The Shopped at Palencia Commons". There is plenty of parking in this new shopping center. You WILL NOT be able to check in to this store until Yelp moves the pin to the location. For some odd reason it comes up 20 miles south of where it actually is. I have notified Yelp 3 times, but it's still not moved. You can go to the Publix website though and see the true location in addition to a few pictures I posted from their sales flyer for the location.
