Lots of trains, models, and all sorts of fun toys! I think you'll find something appropriate for everyone here!

Joe, Transformers, and Masters of the Universe/She-Ra toys were among the many offerings this shop has. They also had loose toys in clamshells. Comic book new pull selection was good with many longboxes being priced at three dollars. They had no dollar boxes. Graphic novel selection was good and they have Manga offerings. Several retro arcade cabinets are located in the back room and they were busy during our visit. Prices were more on point then other shops like this in the area, with my friend getting two She-Ra toys that were in EXCELLENT condition for a great price. Tosche Station Echo Base is a must stop when in the area for the selection and the staff were also excellent to chat with.

In addition to the various hobby shop related wares - there are lots of neat little bits to the store - a miniature old school pinball machine; a little red wooden wagon mounted on the wall; upstairs on a door - a sign that painted with the words: "The Speakeasy," harkening back to an earlier time when a previous business conducted wine tastings and such upstairs at this location. All the staff members I met and interacted with were helpful and very nice! #WarrentonHobbyShoppe

Every time we've been in, the staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. We started coming here when I brought my little guy in over a year ago when he started collecting pokemon cards, and they always slip a few extra cards in his bag. It was his birthday today and the owner saw him looking at magic cards and asked him if he was interested in learning. My little guy said he was, and so he reached behind the counter and got us a couple of starter decks and some extra cards because he said that he wants to encourage anyone who wants to learn how to play. It's just the kind of interaction that sets a comic book shop apart and it made a real impression on us. If you're in Manassas (heck even if you're not!) swing by Keep It Strange and support your local comic shop! Thanks for keeping it kind Keeping It Strange!

To my surprise, when we walked in, there were no customers--just the cashier (the owner's wife). It genuinely seemed like she was watching us to make sure we were "only looking," and it gave the impression she thought we might take something. It was extremely uncomfortable and made it hard to shop in peace. The whole experience changed how I feel about the store. I wouldn't shop there again, nor would I recommend it.
