A pretty dang great five below in Davie that is very easily accessible from university! The staff was very friendly because as I walked in I was greeted by many different workers, all of which were happy and eager to help me make sure I found what I was looking for. The selection of items here were crazy and the amount of Christmas/holiday gifts were great because I needed to find many different things for donations and gifts for friends or family. I found some cool gummy eggs that actually sizzle when you add sauce to it, they tasted odd but the novelty was the reason I bought it! The location was very nice, everything throughout the store had specific sections and I was able to navigate the store easily because it was very clean and spacious. I found a couple funny shirts that I ended up getting because the quality was nice for five dollars! Overall one of the better Five Below locations I have been to so I will continue to come here time and time again whenever I am in the area and in need for fun or cheap (but good quality) gifts for me or someone else I may know! read more

Another Five Below everything is great Town of Davie store. Love the low eye level shelves to see everything at one glance. Huge checkout area and big parking lot. The small action figure toys for $5 is a great deal for a gift or toy collector. Plenty of iron on t-shirt stuff here. Pillows and candy galore. There are some $1 and $2 items but most everything is $5. The mini dart set and the energy drinks are a great buy. I could spend all day in here. read more

I was in the area and decided to check this Five Below store for some home fragrance. I found a good selection of incense and sage sticks for cheap! I did not know they also sold crystals....This store never stops amazing me on the diverse and fun merchandise they have... Fun place to shop for things....most of them in the $5 +/- few bucks range. read more

OK so I never knew this store existed until my daughter told me about it. The concept of a store where everything is five dollars or less was interesting to me of course I've been to a dollar store where everything's a dollar but this was somewhat different. There is plenty of parking near the store. Upon entering the store it was large and had quite a few things. Anything from gift bags, tissue paper, cards, toys, clothes, food, and everything in between. The cards are a very good deal at two for a dollar. Great place to stock up on wrapping supplies like tape, gift bags, gift wrap and tissue paper. The shelves are somewhat messy I guess a whole bunch of people grabbing stuff for under five dollars leaves the shelves messy. I didn't however have any problem finding the stuff I was looking for. Check out was a breeze no problems there. Overall I would rate the stores four stars loss of one star due to the messiness. I would however if you need things they have definitely recommend the store. read more

This store is located next to Trader Joes in Plantation. It features items from $1-$5. I walked though the whole store and I must say they have some pretty cool stuff. The $1 stuff are mostly stickers and little things like that, but the $4-$5 range has some great items. Lots to storage and quirky looking decor. There is also candy. The place was a little messy, and I didn't see anyone on the floor. I wouldn't go out of my way to come to shop here, but if I'm in the area, I'd come to check out what they have for sure. read more

I have visited this location several times but only in the last year. Actually, I have only been to this location. I never visited because for some reason, I thought it was a children's store. I think their emblem reminded me of other children stores. I went in initially to check it out since I was running errands next door. It was around Halloween and I never had a balcony to decorate so I needed some ideas. I saw decorations through the window and ventured in. So five below means everything in the store is under $5. Lol okay I didn't know so I'm letting others know just in case! Some items looked like they were not worth the couple dollars but others were a bargain. I picked up a hanging Frankenstein and browsed the store. The majority of the store is marketed more for children so I did not spend too much time browsing. I mean if you want a sugar rush on the cheap though, this is the place! All sorts of candy and for cheap! The last time I went was a couple days before Christmas and needed stocking stuffers. Think of an updated, more modern, relevant, cooler, upscale, expensive dollar store and you have Five Below. This location is smaller than the one in Pembroke Pines but it is packed with merchandise! During the holidays there were tons of holiday themed items including wrapping paper, bags, candy, toys. Of course the store has toys and candy available year round. You can even buy movie candy boxes for a dollar. Not that I would take my own candy into a movie.... There are different types of novelty candies-beer flavored jelly beans anyone? Make-up, balls, cards, books, games... the list goes on. However, the favorite part of the store for me and my tween is the electronic accessories.: Chargers, phones, speakers, headphones, earbuds etc. They are probably not the best quality but hey, they chargers are still working and when my son loses his earbuds for hundredth time, I don't mind replacing them for five bucks. This place has lots of cool stuff, plenty of Knick knacks but also plenty of useful stuff at a cheap price. $5 being the highest price. I come here to buy their $5 plush blankets for my dog. I buy several doesn't matter if it's girly or not. I go through these since most of the time I end up throwing them out. Yeah I know, feel bad throwing them out since I know there's probably many dogs that don't have them. My dog sheds way too much fur and washing them at home ends up leaving too much fur in washer. I've also gone to a local laundromat but too lazy to go all the time, plus feel bad too since I don't want to mess up those washers. So coming to Five Below is great when the plush blankets only cost $5. They also have yummy candy from my childhood. First day here and I felt like a kid back in the 80s. I grabbed a bag and started filling it up. If you are ever in need of something and can't mak it to a Walmart or Target, they might have something you can use. Come check it out! read more

This was the first Five Below I have ever been to and I've heard of it on Instagram years ago so I'm glad we finally have one in SoFlo with many more locations to come! Fun Fact: Five Below originated from West Philadelphia *cue Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song* (I asked one of the cashiers where Five Below came from lol) The best way I can describe this place is probably a high end dollar store but with better quality products than most dollar stores and the max price you'd find is $5. I saw a big pack of assorted earrings for $3 and the quality is comparable to the earrings you find in Forever 21. They even have workout clothes -- I bought a sports bra there and I love the breathable material and the color. Another favorite find of mine is this glitter nail polish that lasted for more than a week WITHOUT a top coat. Best $2 I have ever spent on nail polish! Candy is such a score here, with $1 boxed "movie" candies and even assorted individual candies you can get by weight (think of the candy section in Party City). If you have a party and need to party favors or even a quick, quirky present, you will find cool, affordable things here. In my recent visit, my honey and I found a good quality birthday card (from an actual card-making brand) with a funny pun and I'm sure our friend really liked it. I bought 2 8-lb weights here for my home workouts and they were much cheaper than the weights I found in department stores like Marshalls or Ross. And so far, I've had no problems with the iPhone charger cable I've bought from here and it was only $5. So yes, you can find a lot of random things here. I legit could look at everything, every time I go in and I have no idea why because I'm an adult and half of it is kids stuff everything is $5 or below (hence the name.) there's a great selection of kids toys, games, fun decorations, phone cases, nail polishes, workout equipment (hand weights, medicine balls, yoga mats) socks, and believe it or not I have even bought a few pieces of clothing and two pairs of shoes here. This store is probably a kids/tweens dream hence why I came. Jeremy Cs son is turning 10 and I needed a small gift for him. I'd never been but thought I would give it a shot. I walked the entire store and they had cute tchotchkes for kids and adults alike. While shopping I found some Golden Girls stuff- SCORE! I got my grandma a magnet of Dorothy that said, "Shady Pines Ma!" She's the one who got me started with loving the girls at the tender age of 5 lol! These stores are a relatively new addition to the South Florida market place. I usually go to the one in Deerfield Beach but this one was right next to to the Trader Joe's I visited today so after I was done there I wandered in. Everything in Five Below is $5 dollars or less. If you have a child or a teen you need to know about this store. Some of the different sections they have are crafts, books, room decor, party supplies, candy, electronics, and clothes. They also carry items related to whatever is popular in pop culture at the time. In addition they rotate in seasonal candy and decor. For instance, today they carried items for both St. Patricks Day and Easter. At Halloween they even carried costumes. Last summer I bought a bunch of the most adorable pool floats. My daughter absolutely loves this store but I think anyone can find something. I have even bought portable speakers and flashlights for my husband here. If you have to go to a child's birthday party this is the perfect place to get a gift without breaking the bank. I would call this like a upscale dollar store. Some things you can find cheaper (nail polish and candy), but definitely a convenient spot that literally has everything. A variety of cook books, educational text for kids and activities books for all ages were my favorite section in store. If you have kids, the toy section is not too bad. This is a really quirky store, I'm a huge fan of dollar stores, and when I saw how huge this place is I was definitely excited. They have EVERYTHING from smartphone accessories, to school supplies and even clothing. I was immediately greeted by someone @ the door (most likely because it's their grand opening) but the store was fully stocked. Everyone was very helpful, once again (it's the grand opening) I ended up buying an iPhone 6+ storage case for $5. I really like the design but I hate that it only stores one card. It was very hard to get the card in and I had to take the case apart completely to be able to get my card out. But hey, that's what happens when we go for the cheap stuff. Other than that I think Five Below is a great one stop shop for school necessities, a friend sleeping over who needs some cheap clothes, and all that candyyyyy on the wall! Haha.
