The employee (wish I knew her name) recognized the shopper and opened the door for her and even grabbed a chair from outside that was on display so the lady could sit down and rest inside the store. Some days the staff is friendly and inviting, while other days they are short with their answers to the point they are rude when speaking to you. Once on a recent visit, 3-4 employees were taking up so much space with racks to restock (buggies or rolling racks both in the aisles and walk ways), no one could get through. They didn't notice because they were talking about their plans after work. With a few attempts from me and other guests failing, I had to find a new path to my destination. This isn't a one off thing. It happens more times than not while visiting this store. As for cleanliness, it is about the same. Not talking about having rolling racks out for restock here. It looks as though no one is sweeping/vacuuming for weeks or longer when you see the dust and debris pilled up. They have an excellent variety of shoes, clothing, and housewares, and the children's section is always on point. There are so many other fun finds throughout the store too. It's in a great location near the beach area, and even though there's a Marshalls closer to where I live in Palmetto, I will gladly drive out of my way to shop at this one. I always find something here, and the inventory is consistently fantastic.

I was short-changed at the register, and when I brought the mistake to the cashier's attention, she became rude. Even after pointing out the error, I never received the correct change. I understand that mistakes happen, especially in a busy store with long lines. My concern is not that a mistake was made, but how it was handled. Treating a customer rudely and failing to correct an overcharge does not reflect the biblical principles this company publicly claims to uphold. Because of this experience, I have a difficult time supporting this business. I believe a company's actions should match the values it promotes
