The turkey was good, but the sausage was a little bland. The surprise highlight of the meal was actually the jalapeño poppers we ordered to start. They were excellent and probably my favorite thing we had. Overall, it was a good experience with a nice atmosphere, good service, and some solid food. There were a few misses, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. I'd likely return, although I'd probably try something different next time.

They're small, clean and cramped full of deliciousness. Whole Foods snobs, beware. My hubby and I lingered in the side of the store with the other meats (those smoked ham hawks though... DROOL!) and frozen goods for a minute looking for the fish before someone directed us to the other building (lol) aaaand there, my friend, is where all the magic was happening. We were greeted by a really cool guy (he didn't speak english too well, but I certainly don't give a sh*t) arranging fresh shrimp over ice and we were instantly amazed. The prices were flippin unreal! 8.99 a lb for jumbo head on shrimp, 10.99 for snow crab legs... It was almost to good to be true. AND THEN IT GOT BETTER! While the hubs shopped for dinner, I went ahead and started looking through the cold case for something to munch on. It was lunch time and I was starvin'. That's when the guy behind the counter stopped me and pointed to some signs on the walls... FRESH, MADE TO ORDER HOT FOOD COMBOS?! I was overwhelmed with choices so he said he would make me something yummy and I mean... Why not trust your fish guy? He grabbed two filets of red snapper off the ice and walked back into his kitchen. A few minutes later, he came back with a styrofoam to-go box full of crispy golden fish and fresh cut fries. SWEET LORD IT WAS SO GOOD! 1 lb of fried snapper, 1 lb of hand cut fries + 3 hush puppies, all for $8.99!? Be still, my heart. It was such a hefty portion that my man and I ended up sharing it. We got out of there with a 1lb filet of grouper, half a pound of head on shrimp, a pound of crab and my generous 2 filet lunch for only $33! What a complete steal! I can't even get farm raised frozen fish at Publix for those prices! Other than the Starfish Co, so far this is the only place we will be going for our fresh seafood. Excellent quality meats, excellent service.

EACH Christmas I selected all types of wonderous chocolates, unique gummy candies not available elsewhere and the BEST gingerbread Christmas chocolate enveloped soft yummy cookies for my very small daughters now 37 and 42. Last year I gave both of them again, stockings mailed full of unique fun small gifts AND Geiers delicious treats.... We are SSSSOOOO upset ..... not to see them reopen....... A major major institution of old Sarasota!! We need you back.....

We stopped in immediately and grabbed some of my favs for the week the Cranberry Orange muffins, the premade Cesar salad and I also tried a spinach salad with balsamic dressing topped with gorgeous berries too! I just love this place everything from the lighting to the cleanliness and organization of their stores makes me happy lol! They are very consistent across locations which I appreciate the muffins, salads and dressings tasted the same and just as fresh as my fresh market back home. Even my kiddo ate half of the spinach salad and loved it. After we ate the first one she was asking to go back for another one!! TFM is always a win in my book. Also, if you haven't tried their broccoli salad or their twice baked potatoes you are severely missing out they are so so good!!! Eventually she assisted us. I asked for the cake and she told me it was chocolate or vanilla. I asked her if I could see it. That was too much work for her. She eventually showed me the chocolate cake and not the vanilla cake and said they are exactly the same. I opted for the chocolate cake. I checked it out at the register and both of the people working there were much nicer. Enjoyed my cake. It was not too sweet and rich and it was perfect to share for two.
