I did a slow walk up and down the aisles. Checking to see what all there was to be offered here at this location. Stopping to see a new item I haven't seen before and grabbing the ones I knew I'd use. I had come to the last of the aisles and made my way to the registers. This is where a lot of the wait time came in here. I was in line at one of the two registers open and it was moving slowly. I didn't mind the wait as the employees were doing their job. What was a bit off putting was the other customers. No one seemed to understand the concept of personal space. They were dropping items right next to you and just not understanding the words 'excuse me.'

Friday the majority of the things in the store are $10 and it goes down from there. Ii imagine it is slim pickings on Wednesday when everything is a $1. There were a decent amount of folks inside for a Saturday afternoon. You basically just walk the aisles and sift through the bins. They tape shut a lot of things so it's hard to see what's inside. There are some labels on boxes that make it easy to look the item up for value and description. On social media it says they restock the bins every hour but didn't experience that. Maybe that's only on Friday or maybe we just missed it. I didn't see any of the name brand goodies that are in some of the other photos on Yelp but I imagine those all get taken on Friday morning. I did find a tea storage box and a nice rug. I was able to find both on Amazon for $30+ and good reviews so not bad to pay $8 for each. Try to bring cash because they do charge 3% for using your card...although there are no signs telling you that.

They need help in the dress department. They have a small home-goods section which some cool pieces. The clearance rack was full, with an abundance of mostly boring sweaters. They entice you with candy and sweets in the check out line. There was only one cashier working the register, but she was quick and efficient. Security is very active at this location, as stated in previous reviews. My only complaint is that it's located in a super, dicey area of town, be vigilant. Not a place I would go often, but definitely a hidden gem.....during daylight hours.

It was the night before Thanksgiving, so I'm going to assume that is not the norm. The store was clean and organized for the most part, so no complaints there. My biggest complaint however, is about the treatment from the staff. First of all, there was an older lady who almost knocked me down trying to show another customer an item that I was standing in front of. I quickly moved out the way, but if I didn't, I'm convinced she would've bumped me out the way. A simple "excuse me" would have sufficed. Next up was the cashier who seemed to have an attitude before I even approached him. Since I was only getting a few items, I didn't bother getting a cart or a basket. Instead, I carried most of my items in the small aluminum pan I was purchasing. Apparently, he did not like that. Instead of taking each item out one by one to ring them up, he dumped all of the items on the belt. Not only was this unnecessary, but he didn't even check to see if there was anything fragile in there. Next, the card reader wouldn't read my chip so I had to swipe the card. The cashier asked me what did the screen say and I told him. Then he asked me if I was pressing the 'yes' button, and I told him I was. Apparently, I wasn't and quickly realized I was in fact pressing the 'no' button. He was really irritated by that and shook his head. I then told him that my mistake did not add any additional time on his work schedule, he would have still been there regardless. I understand people have bad days, but he made me remember why I do most of my shopping online. If you need to go to the Dollar Tree, try the one at the Bowie Town Center.

The reason why you can never find any items that correspond with the 50% off color of the day is because as soon as this place opens, there are employees assigned to hurry up and REMOVE items with that color. I was in the shoe aisle and all of a sudden saw a woman grabbing shoes and quickly tossing them into a bag. As I looked closer, these were all shoes with BLUE stickers (which happened to be the 50% off color of the day). No one else was in the aisle which is why she likely felt comfortable doing something so grimy. The fact that everything in this store was received for FREE and literally just put on a shelves and hangers--but you people have the NERVE to not only price gauge but intentionally HIDE items that would have qualified for the 50% off color is egregious. Your greed knows no bounds.
