Service was great! Ambiance was fun! (Flies were abundant...the fly strip in the corner was PACKED.) The idea of a salad bar was fun, but half the items were empty and had pieces of neighboring bits in them. We went on a Saturday night and both of us ordered their special, Prime Rib. We both had two pieces on our plates, which we guessed was so that they could get the weights correct....but no other restaurant has done this before. The meat temp looked like it was right when it was served, but within a moment it turned from pink to brown and we both thought it was also oddly dry. The veggies were very, very cooked and the hash browns were just barely browned and the cheese on top hadn't even been melted. We decided the next visit we'd stick to ordering items like the hot wings and cold beers. The Bloody Mary and old fashioned were very, very good! UPDATE: Since visiting Fritz's, I have asked a few people who have eaten there how they felt about their experiences. It appears everyone agrees that the drinks and the atmosphere are typically very good! So, there you have it. Order a beverage and enjoy the waterfront views!

Cozy holiday atmosphere tonight. Christmas music and and a jolly festive holiday atmosphere to celebrate the holiday season.

Fish tacos, great flavor, absolutely loved the chilli lime sauce

This is a great little weekend spot, you can literally drive there, spend a few hours and when you get home you feel like you've been on a getaway! The food is solid and they had a very delicious rum punch at only $8 a glass it packed a punch, Fitz is a hidden gem.

This place was on the side of a lake, as the name says. In warm weather it is fun to have dinner outside. I was there on a Saturday evening. There was a 30 minute wait to get a seat. Prime rib au jus, which was the Saturday special was my favorite item. Beer battered fish sandwich was my other item. It was good as well. Chili soup was flavorful. Kids chicken strip was very nice.

This may not be a lot it's because I already eaten it but it was delicious and I love the taste and everything

Everything was amazing it was perfect our waitresses was so nice and respectful there was ice cream and that was amazing and there was games to and a lake to take pictures it was beautiful

Really fun place to boat up to for lunch. Very nice menu options and the drinks are ready to go to the patio!

Great spot right on the lake with a good view. Food here is excellent, but definitely overpriced for what you get. Service is slow.

Easy jet ski parking. Friendly bar service. Fun atmosphere. Limited healthy options - but not expected on the lake.

I love going for the salad bar. My husband gets the fish fry on Fridays, but I enjoy the herring.

The stainless steel diner has been well cared for and updated enough to make it more comfortable for staff and customers. There are some tables out front and two different seating areas inside (it's bigger than it looks). All the cooking is done behind the counter, where you can see it all happening. It can be a bit noisy as the metal spatulas hit the grill, but you can still have a reasonable conversation. It's a busy place, and the servers are efficient, with a no nonsense approach to taking your orders. The menu is large, with lots of traditional favorites (no avocado toast here). There were two pages of breakfast items, and it was a tough decision. We ordered a number of different items: corned beef hash, pancakes, and potato pancakes with eggs and sausage. It did not take very long to get our food. Very good portions, everything was plenty hot, and all flavorful. Everyone was happy with their choices. The corned beef hash was not the kind you get from a can. It was large, fresh pieces. The pork sausages were plump and well seasoned. The poached eggs were perfect. My only complaint: I ordered my potato pancakes extra crispy, but they didn't seem "extra" to me (extra extra crispy next time). The regular pancakes were good, but not fluffy enough to be "excellent". A very nice place for breakfast, and somewhere we would return to.

We came here on a Friday for fish fry, and arrived shortly after they opened. Good thing, because…read morethey filled up very quickly and we hadn't had a reservation. It was the first weekend they had their patio open to dining, so we naturally chose a spot outside -- in the shade, it was a bit much in the unabated sun. I thought we'd have a river view, but it was hidden behind some trees and a few cabins. Oh well. Still a nice outdoor spot away from the city. We were warned that there was a party of like 20 people coming in shortly to the patio, but we did not notice and interruption in our service as the gang flowed in. I will never love the ability to smoke cigarettes on an outdoor patio, so maybe I should have sat inside, but still worth being outside despite the occasional irritation. To each their own. Our server was great, and was very patient with our slow proces of ordering drinks, appetizers, and the meal in relatively spaced out time periods. The Old Fashioneds were great, without too much of the muddle and soda and more emphasis on the booze -- still a Wisconsin Old Fashioned, though! I enjoyed the cheese curds and was very intrigued by their potato and cheddar crusted cod. I usually get the fried cod during a Friday Fish Fry, but this sounded somehow elevated. Alas, I didn't find it to provide any extra or new flavors, and there was nothing crispy about it. The breading was more like a mooshy exterior that didn't do a ton for the fish. The fish was cooked nicely, but the very high price was very much not warranted. I can get crispier and lower priced cod closer to home, so just can't justify the trip for the fish fry. But then there was dessert. I'm always looking to recreate a favorite (late) childhood dessert that involved brandy infused ice cream. I always ask at a Friday Fish Fry if they can make a Brandy Alexander that's thick enough you need a spoon. They claimed this to be the case, and they did not disappoint. This was a delicious Brandy Alexander and definitely worth a trip back. So, while I wasn't crazy about my overpriced, non-crispy fish fry, I still enjoyed myself and enjoyed my food... I'm glad we came and tried it out, and if you're looking for a nice supper club spot, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Onion rings seemed like they were frozen, fried and served. They were the same as any other restaurant. The deviled eggs were 75% mustard. The clam chowder would rank in my top 10 ever with tons of flavor, clams and potatoes. I wish I could eat an entire loaf of that bread. The bluegill and cod were better than the lake perch. The lake perch was fine but not amazing. The hashbrowns ordered with onions and cheese were not flavorful and the cheese was packaged American cheese. I would think a supper club would have real cheese.
