Gave it a try on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Had heard good things but wanted to see for ourselves. Greeted by the owner and directed to the outdoor patio/porch overlooking the Wisconsin River. Menu is limited to flatbreads, panini sandwiches and salads. Decided to split the chicken panini which was prepared perfectly ... crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Also ordered a flatbread to split. Tried the chicken, red pepper, onion, basal and cheese. Portion size was modest which worked out well for us. River view and herb garden on the deck made for interesting conversation. Will definitely return. Recommend without any reservations. read more

Excellent Hurricane mojito and trail walker panini. Small menu but what they do make is really good. read more

Que's Bar & River Deck - Hurricane Mojito - Pubs Near Me - Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin

Scott Scott Scott! What a gem, come for the delicious, premium Mojitos stay for Scott's Jamaica photos. Beautiful back patio with an amazing view, service, bar tricks and if you drink enough, you will go home with some SWAG. read more

To start, know there are two tiers of outdoor seating. No signage designates or let's you know this. There are only a few tables on the top tier and then against the wall is a wood staircase under the metal one going down to bottom deck. My spouse is THE most impatient human that ever walked the earth. The food was good, but the bartender has to make drinks and food; so it took over an hour. If you get hangry, do not go here. If you want a chill spot with a good view and are willing to walk back and forth to the bar for your own drinks- this is your place read more

Que's Bar & River Deck - Quejito and Mediterranean Flat Bread Pizza !! Next trip getting the Hummus platter :-) - Pubs Near Me - Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin

First time visitors after driving by for almost a decade. Pleasantly surprised! Clean, bright WI bar. Smaller space than anticipated. Staff (Scott) was more than friendly--he was quite a treat! We had the soup of the day (broccoli cheese). It was tasty enough and ample. My spouse and I shared a BLT with salmon on toasted sour dough--outstanding!! I'd never seen salmon offered on a BLT before! And the greens were fresh, not a leaf of iceberg. The mojito menu looked like fun but we defaulted to the New Glaurus beers on tap. We'll have to try the mojitos the next time we visit as we surely will! There's a little deck overlooking the Wisconsin river that will be nice in the summer. read more

Lots of fun flavors for your mojito! Great views and clean bar. Recommend for relaxing beverage. read more

The food was good and the view was lovely, but the mojitos had no alcohol in them what-so-ever (this from someone who gets bowled over by a glass of wine). I really don't like restaurants that will only offer their menu via QR code. Also having to guess what kind of bottled beers the establishment offers is not a great sales technique. The owner was nice enough, but made some questionable comments about a group of people hanging out across the river. Not a classy way to run a business. read more

Stumbled upon this place after leaving Wollersheim Winery. Very chill atmosphere, the owner Scott was very inviting and easy to get along with. The paninis were good and so were the mojitos! Please read the menu, it's cash only! read more

We used to enjoy this place when visiting the area until today, the owner was unbelievably rude to my husband and never apologized.... his sarcasm was over the top ! Do NOT patronize this establishment.... read more

Great view, great service and even better sandwiches. The only downfall is, it's cash only. Other than that I have zero complaints!

Not only was the bartender rude when I asked about the Yelp offer (which I never got) he was rude to my girlfriend when she said it was her birthday. He said there are only offers for local people. Overall, rude. If I could uncheck in, I would. read more

Didn't eat here I was kind of afraid to after the bartender/Cook look like he was the only one working guessing not his fault snapped at us because we wanted a menu gave us a barcode and told us to hurry up and order our drinks. Lol we had a drink and left. read more

This was a drinks only stop for us and we had a blast. Our bartender Scott had us laughing the minute we sat down. He and another fellow at the bar had a lot of insight to share regarding the beer list, local breweries and other attractions. The view from the back deck is really nice; easy to see how an afternoon could be spent out there. read more

Great place. Food was good and the bartender was awesome. Great outdoor area. We will be back!

I went here for lunch after golfing. The place has a nice sign and a beautiful view of the river, however the service is very slow, the staff is rude, and the food tastes like it comes out of a George Foreman grill. It's a shame such a great location is wasted. read more

The owner was very friendly and initially the service was excellent! The view of the Wisconsin River from the deck is really nice. However, despite the COVID pandemic (and mask mandate in effect), the owner was not wearing a mask! COVID is real folks!! read more

I was with my wife in her hometown visiting in-laws and other relatives. Being FIBs, my bro-/sis-in-law, my wife, and I wanted to watch Game 1 of the Cubs-Dodgers NLCS. Doing some Yelp research, we figured this might be our best choice in the Sauk Prairie du Sac City area. And we figured right. For starters, the bartender was incredibly accommodating. He kept the sound of the baseball game on for us despite the fact that there was also a (I'm assuming important) Wisconsin Badgers game on as well. With ample televisions to view multiple games, the place is a great spot to watch sports. Again, being FIBs, we were a bit anxious and overstimulated for the Cubs game, but the bartender handled us with aplomb. As for food, my sister-in-law had a sandwich that looked good, but the rest of us were too busy pouring Moscow Mules and Coors Light down our gobs to think about chowing down. We had no portion control for drinks. The outdoor area, though dark when we were there, appears to have a fantastic view of the Wisconsin River. I think the deck here would be a great place to sit outside, drink a coffee and vodka, contemplate the universe, and watch eagles. I plan on doing that when we're up again for X-mas. read more

Beautiful view of the river off the back deck and a great sandwich.... not to mention the GREAT mojito! read more

Found Que's Bar and River Deck by accident - parked in front and could see the river out the back door, strolled in, received warm greeting and sat on the deck overlooking the beautiful Wisconsin River. Met Mr Que as he took our beverage order -a fresh muddleded Mojito and a tall, Jack & Coke - served efficiently and cold! Try the chunky guacamole and chips - fresh and delicious. Ordered Panini sandiwches - Hot Ham and Cheese and the house favorite - Italian - both were stacked thick with meat - very tasty. Had a fun time for lunch, Mr Que was very accommodating and the view is spectacular. Give Que's a visit - I think you'll enjoy the hospitality and a delicious sandwich read more

Owner is not nice. Issues with sarcasm from start. Hope it gets better for community. Won't go back unless I hear there is change.

We were pleasantly surprised by the mojitos and Moscow mules we ordered, but were a little disappointed that they had to reject their avocado order for the week, hence no guacamole...but we appreciate that they have quality control. The staff was friendly enough, but were a little scarce at making their rounds to the deck. When we were ready to go we had to go in to pay our bill. If you're in a rush, this is not your place, but we'd head back if we're ever in that area again! read more

This is the nicest pub in Sauk-Prairie! Very appealing atmosphere and a great deck out back from which you can enjoy the river view. The beer selection is fantastic and they serve very tasty cocktails as well. They recently started serving food and offer a great selection of sandwiches, salads and a daily soup, too. read more

This is definitely a hidden gem. Went here on the way back from Devil's Lake. So it's, for the most part, a bar; however, they have a backyard terrace with places to sit. The menu is mostly sandwiches and salads (although there is a hummus platter for vegetarians). The sandwiches were delicious. I ordered the bodega and would highly recommend it! All the sandwiches come with a side of coleslaw or chips. Plus you can get cheap beers (and craft beers or mojitos) with lunch. THE PLACE IS CASH ONLY (but there's an ATM). read more

Nice bar with a giant jenga game and good tap beer selection (I had some sort of porter that I would definitely drink again). There is a deck that overlooks the Wisconsin River that I'd love to check out if I'm back there during the summer. I had a veggie panini that was really good (there's a decent size menu, but I don't know how long they serve food, as I was there for lunch). read more

I recently went to Ques Bar and River Deck for lunch with my mom and sister, it was FANTASTIC! I had the Bodega, it was amazing! My mom and sister both loved their sandwiches a lot too! The guacamole was super fresh and very flavorful! One of my favorite things about this place it the mojitos, very fresh, very good! I great place to sit outside and enjoy the deck! I will be back again! read more

We got odd looks when we walked in, for some reason. Maybe it was cuz we had our two young kids, but it IS Wisconsin, and children in a bar is commonplace! Despite the cold welcome, everything else about our visit was top notch. Each of us got sandwiches: The Bodega, chicken pesto, and grilled ham and cheeses were each really very tasty. Very nice beer selection too, and my wife and I each got beers from a brewery in Lake Mills. Our waitress was great - nice, courteous, attentive, with good recommendations. We'd definitely go to Que's again. read more

Stopped here for a light meal after finding ourselves in the area on a Monday night in February. My traveling companion was thrilled they had Leinenkugel's Big Butt Doppelbock on tap. I accidentally ordered her the wrong pint but it was no problem! The bartender simply poured a replacement. We were looking for a light, quick meal that wasn't fast food, as it was past the normal dining hour and Que's certainly fit the bill. My friend ordered the continental salad with chicken. Her salad was good sized and the greens were über fresh. I had the grilled chicken with pesto. It was served on a grilled ciabatta roll with roasted red peppers, and served with a pickle spear and slaw. It was very tasty. The service was fast, efficient and extremely friendly. read more

Que's was a great choice for me and my friends to stop after visiting Wollersheim. The food and drinks were awesome and the bartender (Que himself!) was super friendly and fun. It isn't quite a dive bar, but has that comfortable small town feel. It's nice and clean and has a great view from the deck! I recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, great drinks, and great company. read more

Great location and good food. Service was personable if a bit slow. Food was not typical bar food, it was much better! We went on a Sunday evening for a friend's birthday and it was a perfect setting. Unfortunately they butchered her meal which she asked to have with no gluten. So she got the chicken salad sandwich without the bread and they also forgot the bacon, cheese, and onions. The other sandwiches however were excellent. Highly recommended for a quick evening out in Sauk. read more

This was a great stop to make after a long day in the Dells with a couple tired kiddos (And parents:/)! The deck was great for them to walk around a bit (no one else was out there with us) and the beer/wine was just what we needed:) Surprisingly the food was delicious and not just your typical bar food. The hummus platter was awesome and the sandwiches and Maui Sweet Onion chips were great! read more

The owner Scott is a great bartender. His food is amazing. You must try the sandwiches. On tap he has a good selection of speciality brews. My recommendation though is to have him make you his Moscow Mule. You will compare every mule you have some place else, to that one- it is that good! read more

Such a treasure! It's a bar- nothing fancy, which is fine. We sat on the back deck, which is small but friendly- chatted with other customers, which was nice! Not typical bar food- we will be back, and bring friends. Very impressed. read more
