    The Subaru BRZ I was interested in.

    Buying a car is a huge investment and never to be taken lightly and thus my extensive research led me to Fitzgerald Subaru in Gaithersburg. They had the best listed online price for the Subaru I was interested in. The first day I was out test driving a few vehicles that I was considering to buy, the Subaru BRZ was on that list. I arrived at Fitzgerald Subaru and was looking over the BRZ I saw listed online. I looked over the vehicle and then my sales person Erol walked out and asked if I was interested in the car. This was a nice touch as I was not ignored and taken as a serious potential buyer. (I look young and have been ignored as well as mistreated at another dealership recently) Erol was nice and after some talking I proceeded to test drive the car. I liked it a lot but did not want to make my decision on a car yet so I left. I came back a week later to make an offer on the BRZ as well as have my car appraised for trade-in. I worked with Kenny the main manager as well as Dave in sales and Erol. Dave was nice but did not seem very knowledgable with cars. Once Erol was free I was transferred back to Erol. They tested, drove, inspected and thus appraised my car for a good trade-in offer. This incentive is what pushed me to proceed with buying the car that day. Fast forward through five hours of paper work I was sitting in my new BRZ! Once arriving home I realize that it is missing the factory floor mats, I call Erol and he has replacement floor mats ordered which I picked up the next week. Then I realize the car is missing center caps on all four of the wheels, so I contact them and they have ordered those to ship to my house. They have not yet arrived but it's only been a few days. So overall my experience has been very good, the missing parts was frustrating but they instantly resolved the issues for me. 8 days after trading in my car and buying the Subaru I receive a call from the service manager he is yelling at me about how I did not disclose my "modified shocks and struts" they were not "modified" they were simply new oem-type replacements with only a few thousand miles on them as my car had over 80000 miles and the shocks, springs, and struts were due to be replaced. He was extremely rude, and condescending. I contacted Kenny the next day about the issue and as always he was a pleasure to deal with. We resolved the issue and he really is a prime example of a quality manager and leader. Kenny is the one who made my experience a great one even despite the negatives. The other sales managers seemed nice and helpful as well however Kenny is the one I had majority of involvement with. I want to also note working with Renda on the financing portion of buying the vehicle was a pleasure. She was helpful, informative, showed me add on options without being "pushy". Overall the experience was a positive one, a few hiccups along the way but I would certainly do business with the sales team at Subaru again. I unfortunately have no interest in their services after the incredibly unprofessional dealing with the service manager who would hardly let me reply as he barraged me let alone tell me his name. That is why this is a 4 star review and not five stars. Bottom line is this dealership has some of the best pricing around and if you are interested in buying a car here I would highly recommend working with Kenny (the manager), Kevin (the manager) Erol(sales) and Renda (final paperwork and financing).

    I got my car in 2009 a Subaru Impreza and I love getting my car serviced. the service advisors are always sweet to me but maybe because i probably look like a 18 year old girl who's just trying to get an oil change haha. none the less everytime i come here they always greet me and make sure i am good, offering refreshments and such. i love that there's a quiet little corner that they have where you can wait and charge your phone, laptop etc do some work while you wait. I always work on my Trumaker emails and it definitely helps that they have wifi that works!

    Thank you Jenna Keller and Fitzgerald Subaru Gaithersburg for all your help on this great purchase! I am happy with the buy and I love Jenna enthusiasm, professionalism, and great personality! When you talk to a sale person, you would think the person only goal is to sell cars, but not Jenna! She explain the ins and outs of the car and introduce me to the pervious owner, who kindly tell me the history of the car which made me feel safe . Chatting with her since that night for the test drive have been pleasent! She have knowledge on things I don't know about the Subaru WRX/STI! She also not afraid to use the wrench to fix her car! If you are looking to buy any car ask for Jenna!

I was told they couldn't figure out the issue so they need to call Toyota headquarters which takes a whole. Couldn't wait longer so I rescheduled. May 2022: on my rescheduled trip, I waited eight hours for them to tell me they contacted the headquarters to fix it but of course it was not fixed. I did lose faith July 2022: came back to drop off for the same issue. I found out that back in October 2021 Springfield Toyota installed my break pad and associated parts incorrectly so it was making a cracking noise. Therefore Fitzgerald was able to put on new hardware to fix the whole issue. I tell you once my issue was fixed my life was so much easier. Thank you to the technician that figured out the issue finally. I am satisfied. The one less star was because when I picked up the car the lady who processed my pickup was less than enthused to work there.

They require sellers to deliver the vehicle to the dealership, stating they will reimburse the cost of a rental car for the trip home since they do not pick vehicles up. I followed their process exactly and rented a car for the return trip. Despite multiple attempts to contact them afterward, I was never reimbursed for the rental they recommended. . Payment was also delayed. They received the title on February 5th but did not issue payment until February 13th, and that only occurred after I reached out twice asking for an update. Another concerning point: the truck was listed for sale on their website before they had paid me or even received the title. To make matters worse, my license plates were never returned. I have documentation of the agreements, the premature listing, timeline of title delivery and payment, and my attempts to follow up about the rental reimbursement. Overall this process felt disorganized, poorly communicated, and far more difficult than it should have been. If you plan to sell a vehicle here, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and being prepared for delays, last-minute price changes, and follow-up issues.

    DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! I had one of the worst…read moredealership experiences I've ever dealt with, involving the following "managers" Paul Angel, Rob Buaynstein, Jason Buts, and Mussa Fowl. I live in Virginia and went through the full process of purchasing a vehicle from this Maryland dealership in good faith. Here's what happened: * I contacted the dealership about a specific vehicle and was told multiple times they expected me to come purchase it. * I paid out of pocket to have a mechanic drive 40 minutes to inspect the vehicle before buying. * I repeatedly asked to place a deposit or hold on the car, but was told they "don't hold vehicles due to corporate policy." Despite that, they continued to tell me things like "see you tomorrow" and prepared me as if the deal was happening. On Friday morning: * They had me submit a credit application (which I was told would be a soft pull, but it turned into a hard inquiry). * They sent me a signed buyer's order with the VIN and price, which I submitted to my credit union. * My credit union approved the loan and issued a check payable directly to the dealership for the full amount. * I sent them proof of the check, and they told me to come pick up the car that same day. While I was literally on the way (3 hours out), after sending them the check confirmation: * They informed me someone else was coming to look at the vehicle. * Then told me whether the car sold was "above my pay grade." * Shortly after, they sold the vehicle to someone else. When I called to resolve the situation, I was given the runaround by multiple managers: * I was told the check "doesn't hold the car" * They claimed someone else "was already in the system" * And ultimately said they were no longer selling it to me The call ended abruptly with no resolution. Key issues: * Misleading communication throughout the entire process * Hard credit inquiry after being told it would be soft * Sending a signed buyer's order, then backing out after financing was secured * Accepting proof of payment and telling me to come in, then selling the car anyway * Complete lack of professionalism from management Bottom line: I spent money on a mechanic inspection, took a credit hit, secured financing, and drove hours based on their word--only to have the vehicle sold out from under me at the last minute. This dealership does not honor its commitments and does not operate in good faith. Proceed with extreme caution.
