I'm extremely tall and have struggled for years to find jeans that fit me the way they should until coming across FITTED recently. Eric is great to work with and very knowledgeable about his craft. It's cool seeing all the details he works into the jeans and listening to his explanations of the types of denim used. He's very patient with the fitting/alteration process and also does a great job listening to your specifications or concerns and providing his own thoughts where appropriate, so it feels like a very collaborative process. The price point is also an excellent value for what you're receiving. For the same amount you'd spend on some mid-tier jeans at Nordstrom, you're getting custom-fitted clothing that is better than anything I've ever bought off the rack and has a cool story behind it. The whole feeling from the fitting to the final product is that I was working with an authentic brooklyn-based small business and can attest that the level of attention and customer care from Eric is incredible. I very much wish I'd discovered FITTED sooner. It would have saved me a lot of money on pants hanging in my closet that were the best option at the time but I'll never wear again simply because they don't compare to my new pairs from FITTED. In late 2018 I stumbled across FITTED and Eric on IG, I was looking for a NYC based craftsman to make some jeans for my wedding that was happening in March 2019. I visited Eric's workspace for fitting and choosing the fabric and details of the jeans. As the jeans were for my wedding Eric went the extra mile and have my name and my wife's name and the date of the wedding sewn into the inner of the waist. The small details like the pocket lining, the leather name badge and the Brooklyn Bridge stitching on the pocket really make these jeans special. Something I could never have gotten from a store or other online boutique denim retailer. I Will be using FITTED's services again in the future for some of their Brighton 13's in a Duck Canvas. What a great experience from start to finish! I received a pair of Eric's custom jeans as a present from my boyfriend. Eric was kind enough to venture into women's jeans even though he specializes in men's, and I couldn't be happier with them! He has a great variety of colors, weights and finishes from which to choose. It was so fun picking them out. He even added zippers at the ankles as a special request and made the waist a bit higher like I prefer. Fitting couldn't have been easier, and then 2 weeks later they're ready! I'm 6'6", slim, hard-to-fit and admittedly kind of impossible to please when it comes to clothes. Off-the-rack jeans never work for me.
