I did the challenge and I'm hooked. Corey makes the experience happen right when you come in getting you hyped for class. All the instructors are amazing they each provide they're own style. Andres class is super challenging, Eli gets you pumped and hyped like being in a club, PJ works out your technique, and Halliday on the weekends circuit training really works you out. You'll never get bored and the hours fit with my work schedule. I gained weight with the challenge however, I didn't care because physically I was losing inches and that's what matters to me. Getting toned and fit. Highly recommend this gym and these classes they're energetic and they'll keep you on track for you fitness goals.

I 110% Recommend Fitbox Method! In 2 weeks not only did I lose 2.3% Body Fat (8 pounds), but also gained back my confidence, made a great group of supporters/friends, and feel ten times better physically and mentally then when I started last month. The staff and coaches are so encouraging and friendly, the gym is kept in pristine condition, and the combination of cardio/kickboxing/resistance/weight training really works for building muscle and losing fat. :)

Just completed the 21 day challenge and feel better than ever. This challenge lives up to its hype and during these 21 days I lost 8 pounds and 2% BF. Great way to kick start a weight loss journey or overcome a plateau. The facility and the instructions are great! Eli's energy is unmatched and Halliday's classes are a 10/10. I feel stronger and leaner than ever and weighing in at the lowest I've had in a very long time. Will definitely be coming back. Can't recommend fitbox enough :)!

Love working out at fit box method. The trainers Ellie and Halliday are awesome love the energy the put in

After 18 days of being at Fitbox

Tried the 21-day challenge after getting out of shape. The goal is to reduce 2% in body fat and I got 5.1% down in 3 weeks. That tells you all, a great place!

There's a handful of different class formats that rotate, and within those workouts are circuits that also change monthly. Epic is a national chain, so you may be doing the same workout as a friend who goes to the outpost in NYC, SF, DC, or maybe just Coral Gables. Each class is 45 minutes and consists of a warmup, circuit, and cool down. By the time you're done mopping the floors, it ends up going a little over, but you'll probably be in and out within an hour. Even though it's strength training and you do exercises you may be used to doing in shoes, you're actually barefoot which I love! I've only been a handful of times but plan on returning again and again. The instructors are super kind and motivating. I always feel like I get a good workout and know I'll get stronger with consistent attendance. Not only that, but I'm planning for my first Tough Mudder this year and know this is the perfect place to train. Would definitely recommend giving this spot a try, no matter where you are on your fitness journey.

Everyday of the week is a different workout, with all the workouts changing every month; this will keep you on your toes on every workout, challenging yourself to learn and master new moves. Aside for the ever varying workouts, the instructors are great, they are always there to motivate you to push you a bit harder, and if you have questions they will also be there to assist you. In contrast to Crossfit, the exercises at Epic allow you to work at your own pace and level, you will see people who modify the every station to make it suitable for them, while others will level them up. But the most attractive point about Epic for me is its sense of community. If you have ever gone to a gym by yourself you will notice the difference that comes working out with someone side by side, it pushes you to work harder, to improve, and to take the boring out of the workouts. This is not a place to go if you are looking to "build up" given that the exercises are of a high intensity nature, but if you are looking for a community that will help you stick with your fitness goals Epic is a great choice.

It honestly feels like everything is tailored to your body. I also love the structure, having two people per station and the ability to reserve your spot every 10 minutes keeps things flowing and never overcrowded. Time flies when you're there. The coaches are amazing. I've tried several of them already, and they all strike the perfect balance between guiding your form and giving you the space to do your thing. As someone who doesn't enjoy big, traditional gyms, I can honestly say I'm so happy I joined. I'm genuinely impressed and actually look forward to my workouts here. The classes are difficult but only as challenging as you make it because it's strength training -- if you're not in the mood one day, you can push yourself a little less. There are 5 stations and then a bonus optional station. There are videos sent to your app before the class as well as screen instructions during the class and a floor coach to help you through the exercises. It's a great way of learning how to do new exercises in a gym if you're new to weight lifting. I was scared of a lot of gym equipment and now I feel like I could workout in the gym on my own thanks to the techniques I learned at glutehouse Everything is top of the line and the gym itself is really beautiful. There are so many little touches to make it cute and peach-y :) My only complaint is that you can only do it 2 times a week so even if you get a membership, you need to supplement with other workouts. I personally like doing cardio on my off days but it's definitely pricy as a gym if you have to do a lot separately outside of the classes

I had been here a bunch of times in the past before the pandemic using ClassPass. The biggest draw…read moreof this gym is that workouts are circulations through 4 stations for a total of 40 minutes and start every 10 minutes. This means that, for example, if you are signed up for an 8:00 am slot but run late, no problem, you can join the 8:10 am or 8:20 am start. I went to this location a couple days ago for the first time since its reopening at the beginning of January 2021. They were on the first floor before, but they have signs saying they moved upstairs to the second floor in the same building. You do have to wear a mask during the workout at present. There was originally only enough space in each station for 4 people, so I imagine they would restrict more spots in each workout slot now. The reason they are able to have rotating stations at 10 minute intervals is that there are no instructors at each individual station, just one trainer in the overall workout area overseeing everyone. (During busier pre-pandemic times, there were two trainers sometimes.) The way you find out what movements to perform at each station is a monitor with videos of the movements and an interval timer that sounds sirens for the start and end of each 40 second exercise interval. You do have to be able to quickly grasp the movements shown before the next interval starts, but you have 3 rounds to get those movements right. The first station has a long turf that usually involves ropes or sled pushes, and the middle stations include sandbag movements and weight lifts. The last stations usually have a core movement like plank rollers or supine weight lifts. You are now expected to grab a cleaning towel and cleaning spray and wipe down the equipment you used at each station during the one minute break between stations. With this kind of structure, you're sure to get a great workout and stay busy during every second! I would advise taking some time after the last round to stretch because they do not include a cool down in the round. Bring a water bottle, a towel, your mask and get it done here!

So i tried it & decided to give it another shot. My experience was the same as 2018, and i was happy to see that there were very few people in classes (usually less than 7). The trainers are all different, not the same quality as before, still just rush thru the WODs. The gym advertised 1 month for $69, so in January i signed up for it. The gym heavily advertises to sign up for focus meetings, which is fitness assessment. I signed up for it, and received a confirmation email, upon arrival first i was told i was not in the system, later i was told they had double booked, and long story short i was not able to do it. My schedule is tight due to work, it was really tough to be there on time, and the fact that my appointment was not respected was unfortunate. The staff doesn't seem organized, or customer serviced focused. I complained on site, all i got was attitude and 'sas', despite the fact it was their bad.. anyway.. Upon arrival, you check in via iPad, my first two weeks of January, were fine (January I paid for the $69 special). Suddenly, upon checking in, the screen started saying 'unpaid see front desk', along those lines. I did and I requested that to be corrected, as I did pay.. and once again, attitude, sas and rudeness stating 'i had done two trials, i was not supposed to, but whatever, they would still allow me to attend'. I was invited in December by a friend, and I did pay the full month on January. I didn't really get any fine print with details.. so my last two weeks were annoying & uncomfortable as every time i checked in i had to basically show my payment receipt to the front desk (unnecessary), as they never corrected the check in process... considering my gym (TruFusion) is still closed, I would have signed up for a few months at burn paying regular price, i had those intentions... i was surprised at how the customer service dropped.. when the gym was managed by Jennifer the staff was always very nice and welcoming.. and the trainers, (with the exception of Ben, and patrick) don't seem that focused on helping or correcting posture.. i wonder why one of the girls teaches & walks around barefoot? That flexible schedule was important here, because I personally would not have been able to motivate myself to get there in the morning, just way too many burpees for me to start the day! While bootcamps aren't my favorite style workout I did appreciate that the classes were always different and there were some really fun exercises on occasion - my favorite being the pull ups we did with elastic bands. I like that they are trying to foster a sense of community with evening activities for their members and different theme days at the gym and Mark definitely grew on me. At the end of the day though I decided not to sign up after the trial, my main reason being their lowest commitment was for 6 months and it was for a steep price tag compared to other gyms in the area. They offer 'free' childcare so I imagine if you are able to take advantage of that then it is a great deal. I went to the gym here 2-4 times a week during my month trial as well as supplementing with other types of workout. I don't think I noticed any huge difference from coming here. (I normally work out that much a month, just not as part of a 'bootcamp'). Another thing that bothered me a bit is I felt like a lot of times each station of exercises was a bit too long, so that you were bound to give up and take a break before the round ended. I would have preferred to know how many reps I need to do or see a clock countdown. Otherwise 2 minutes of plank jumps can feel like an hour.

They give you the option of buying their heart rate monitor to keep track of your heart rate during your workouts but I keep track of it with my Fitbit. Give it a shot!

I've been going to this gym for several years now. I get a good workout most of the time, but…read moresometimes the routines can be a little disappointing. Their class times are less convenient than they used to be. They have one class starting at 6:45 and the next one isn't until 8:30. The latter being too early for me, but 8:30 ends pretty late in the morning (and is after free parking ends on the street). There's definitely some instructors I like more than others. I stopped going regularly over a year ago, when my shoulder was bothering me and I found that some classes I would have to modify a whole zone and it was a struggle to get the instructors to suggest other exercises. Because they continue to play their music very loudly, I've taken to wearing earplugs to protect my ears, but then it's hard for me to hear the instructors. Doing a lot of the exercises on the floor hurts my tailbone and forearms (I wish they had yoga mats) and I miss the rowers (and towels!) they used to have. At least one of their bikes is slightly broken and their ellipticals have been broken at times too. They use monitors to show you what routine to do, but I would say 80% of the time something is cut off like the # of reps. Meanwhile other TVS will have nothing on them. I wish they would invest more effort in making it easy to see what exercises you are doing, especially when they have TVs they aren't using. Almost no one seems to use their heart rate monitors anymore. I stopped bringing mine ages ago, because 50% of the time it wouldn't connect to the screen and I rather use my watch, and who wants to be the one or two people up on the screen? What I find most frustrating and what prompted me to update my rating, is they constantly text me with offers that they will not honor. If they say they are for new members, I've just ignored them, even though it would be great if they didn't text me offers that aren't for me at all. Recently they texted me offering a free week to try their new workout version, with no mention of it being for new members only. Throughout the years, I've noticed changes such as added or removed equipment, but never noticed something drastically new, so I wasn't sure if it had been rolled out already or not. As someone who already works out there occasionally, but hadn't been a member in over a year, I thought maybe they were encouraging me to try to come more frequently like I used to, so I asked if there were any catches and they said no, and I accepted the offering, cancelling another class for next week to go to this one instead. The next day they told me they were revoking the free week. When I expressed my frustration that were not honoring the offer, they called me and aggressively made up a bunch of excuses such as that I texted back too late at night for them to know if I qualified (they texted me after closing time themselves and I responded that same hour) and that their system cannot tell if I come on classpass or not, but not taking ownership of that. Ugh. While I'll continue to partake in their workouts while they are on classpass because as I said I mostly get a good workout, this shady communication was another reminder of why I didn't want to be a full time member. There's been times I was charged a no show fee for a class I didn't sign up for (and therefore didn't attend). When I was a member, I was constantly stressed about if I would be able to use all my classes and I stopped looking forward to my workouts. When I did try to cancel or pause my membership, I always felt harassed about it, having to provide a reason, which is annoying. It has to be done 15 days in advance, which if you are new member, it's especially hard to know after two weeks if you want to keep going or not and I've even had them cancel my membership effective immediately even though I had classes left over! Other times they've been more accommodating, and extended my membership when their was a death in the family and I didn't get to use most of my classes. I wish they were more consistent and reliable with their practices and workouts. So while I recommend trying this gym, I do not recommend becoming a member.

Obviously, as visitors, we had no idea where that was. Despite this, we gave it another shot the next day with our full group ( as we booked it weeks before ). We left early but got stuck in Miami traffic due to a bridge delay, arriving three minutes before class. Even after calling ahead, we were turned away because new students must arrive five minutes early--no offer to reschedule, just a blunt refusal. If this is their protocol, then they probably should have enforced it the day before when we also arrived late. I'm grateful they didn't, but the inconsistency is frustrating when you expect one thing and are then told there are strict rules.
