Seeing how it changed their lives, it sparked my interest, but not enough to try. Fast forward 9 years and 35lbs, I finally decided to try the challenge for myself. I will let you in on my thoughts during those 6 grueling weeks. On orientation day, the trainers discussed the program, the diet plan, and the term FTDI, which is short for "follow the damn instructions". They then demonstrated proper form for some of the common exercises and made sure we understood so that we don't injure ourselves. After the orientation, I felt pumped and ready to go! Now onto the first workout session. The first session will always be the hardest since everything is new and unfamiliar. I didn't know what a HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workout was, nor did I know how effective it can be. My first thought after the inaugural workout was "what the hell did I sign myself up for?". After the first week, things became familiar, and workouts became less intimidating and somewhat fun (but still intense nonetheless). The diet was by far the biggest hurdle I had to face. The hardest part was trying to keep up with eating every 2-3 hours in set portion sizes. Also, there are only so many ways to prepare tilapia and chicken breast before it becomes repetitive. Week 5 was especially difficult for me due to a loss in motivation. I'm not sure if it was from the diet or if I was just feeling a bit burnt out from pushing myself. Whatever the case was, I took a couple days of rest and felt like myself again. Overall, my experience with the 20bl challenge at The Camp Transformation Center Riverside was positive. Would I recommend this place to you? Yes. Would I recommend the 6 week 20lb challenge? Yes. Is it easy? No. Will you lose 20lbs? well.. it depends on if you FTDI

And as I see on my card they charged $62 despite me not going. So the fact I wasn't provided with accurate information this is very disappointing I went to one class and got charged over $200 and I can't get addressed Over this matter. Check the hidden fees and speak to a personal in person and not on the phone as you won't get accurate information.

The colors really complement each other. They also have different weight options, exercise balls, some mats available, stretch bands etc. For the grand opening they hosted 3 classes for the community. They had charcuterie cups, mocktails, different vendors and sign up specials. The owner, Samara, is so kind! It looks like they have a wonderful little community going on here. Parking is also not too difficult. She definitely gave this place a beautiful makeover. :)

Unfortunately, canceling was essentially impossible. The toll-free number was never answered, calls to the location went unanswered, and no one was available in the office. I sent cancellation requests via USPS mail, emails, and messages through their website, all without success or response. After months of unsuccessful attempts, my bank advised me to stop the automated ACH payments to prevent further unauthorized withdrawals. Despite this--and despite my contract term having expired--I was shocked to receive a call from a debt collector over a year later, claiming the gym had continued billing me and sent the account to collections. This experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and completely avoidable had the gym honored basic cancellation requests or provided any customer service support. Continuing to bill and pursue collections after repeated cancellation attempts and after the contract term ended is unacceptable.
