She was very quick to answer phone calls and reply to text messages when we were to enroll but won't even return our calls anymore after we had issues. I cancelled the sessions after the second day because of the unpleasant experiences that we had in two days that we went to her swimming lesson. The unprofessionalism and lack of organization is really disappointing. Some of the details are: - She messed up our schedule and had us at the same time with another kid which she keeps insisting that she did not, but she had no clue on our first day that we were supposed to be there at 1pm. She thought that our schedule is at 10am, and I think that is because I texted her around 9am that morning asking for the address. She might even have no idea that we are coming that day since I never heard anything back from her 2 weeks before after I paid her in full. - Her teenager assistant rolled her eyes to us and openly showing how irritated she is with my kids, and Marjorie letting it happen under her supervision (she defended her saying that she was just like that because they never had a student who got sick before). Both my kids never had any swimming lessons before so I'm not really expecting for an immediate result. However, I am expecting that they will have patience with them as I assumed that they are professional kids swimming instructors who would know how to properly deal with kids. Unfortunately, that's not the case. - After telling her that we would like to cancel and requested to refund our remaining credit (we paid her in full for the 8/30mins sessions for 2 kids), she won't answer or return our call anymore. I've been calling her using my cellphone for days with no avail. However, when we tried calling her again using another phone where the number is blocked (just few minutes after I called her again and left a VM using my CP), she answered immediately. - just an additional info for everyone: the address for the swimming lesson is NOT 975 Canyon Crest Country Dr. as stated here in Yelp. The "lessons" are done in a residential house in Chesterfield Rd, Riverside - I have to mention this as the first reason why we chose Crush Bubbles here in Yelp is because of the distance from our house and it was a let down that the location was actually about 20mins farther. I already paid when I was told about the address so we decided to just continue. As of for now, It's already been more than a month since I've been asking her to refund us with our remaining credits or the days that was not used. Unfortunately, all I've been getting so far are excuses. But that is not because of the documents that she submitted but because the service is not covered by Paypal's purchase protection. Today, right after her morning class, my daughter took a 23-minute Uber ride there. She was scolded for being 3 minutes late and told never to return. In shock, she sobbed for half an hour outside before taking an Uber back to campus. The Uber cost a total of $33.90, the sadness was immeasurable. She loves working with kids, and her first job as a surf camp counselor this summer was wonderful. Having danced since she was a child, she was excited and looking forward to this position. What a heartbreaking, soul-crushing experience.

At 2, my daughter could swim across the pool by herself outside of lessons. Before lessons, my daughter would freak out anytime water touched her face, after just a few lessons with Cathryn, my daughter was literally dunking her head in the bath, and is the biggest water lover now! This summer I took my 1 year old to survival float lessons with Cathryn. The first 2 weeks, my daughter absolutely hated them. Screaming, crying, but floating entirely on her own already. By the end of week 4, my daughter was laughing and lunging herself into the pool. And she absolutely loved Cathryn, cuddling into her every chance she got. Cathryn is so positive and tough in the best way. Both of my daughters absolutely love her. I look forward to taking my youngest back next summer for swim float swim! I genuinely cannot recommend SoCal Water Babies enough. Good swim lessons are SO important, and I have serious faith in her technique. The relief I feel knowing both of my kids have strong survival instincts around water now is great. 10000/10 recommend.

I started taking tennis lessons in January with iTennis and so far I've had a great experience…read more I signed up as an adult beginner since I've never had any tennis training other than just hitting the ball around with friends. I appreciated the scheduling options for both during the week and the weekends. Signing up was a little confusing through the website as the current session classes are offered alongside the upcoming classes. You have to double check which session you're signing up for. Once I was signed up, I received an email receipt but not a formal confirmation and no instructions as to what to bring or wear or what to expect. The tennis rackets are not provided so you do need to bring your own. The coaches are really skilled and know what they're doing so I suggest you trust their method. You will get better if you listen to them. They're really good at assessing where you're at and meeting you there. They will also make sure you're in the appropriate level of class so they will bump you up or keep you in the same level depending on your skill level. So far I've taken two sessions of Adult Beginner I and I'm excited to be moving up to Adult Beginner II. I really appreciate that they are flexible in terms of making up a class if you have to miss one or one is canceled due to weather. The parking lot can be chaotic at times but you'll always find a spot. The tennis area is gated so you have to check in but it also means that the rest of the park activities don't generally interfere with the tennis classes aside from the noise and occasional weed smoke (usually observed during the evening classes). If you've been curious to try out tennis I highly recommend group classes.
