I wanted to leave an updated review after being a member for more than six months. I also wanted to respond to a review I saw here that I personally do not think reflects the environment of this gym. From my experience, this gym has been very safe and respectful for women. I have never been disrespected by any men here. I go at different times of the day, both mornings and evenings, so I see different groups of people, and my experience has always been positive. Overall, the gym is great. I really like that there have been upgrades with new machines being added. It's nice to see the gym continuing to improve the equipment for members. One suggestion I would have is adding more recovery options. The sauna is great, but many gyms are starting to offer additional recovery amenities. It would be really nice to see things like massage chairs, a cold plunge, or other recovery features added for members. Another improvement that could help would be organizing some of the machines a bit more by section, such as grouping leg machines together and arm machines together. Aside from those suggestions, I really enjoy this gym. It's a clean, safe environment and a great place to work out. The staff here are also great and very helpful. I saw some people mention that the blonde woman who works here is rude, but that has not been my experience at all. She has always been very nice. She may have a strong voice and might come across as serious at first, but once you talk to her she is actually very kind. She may just not be a super bubbly person, and that's okay because everyone has different personalities. I would also like to point out that all of the employees here have been nice and respectful. Be very careful with Fitness Mania. My membership renews on December 31st, but their waiver hides a clause saying you must email them by December 25th or they won't process your cancellation until the next billing cycle -- meaning you get charged again even if you cancel before renewal. When I called, I was told this was "part of the waiver I signed" in a dismissive tone. California has strict laws requiring gym cancellation terms to be clear and not deceptive. An arbitrary holiday deadline buried in fine print is shady at best. read more

Theres pros and cons. I moved to Riverside in 2022 Pros: Love the overall hard work ethic vibe here! Great music, cool machines, nice lighting, elegant restroom and sauna, plenty of cardio, lots of options if one machine or barbell or smith is taken theres plenty of alternatives. Except 1 more leg extension would be appreciated Cons: some equipment has tears and its gross to use it. I don't think they have formal cleaning staff, the windows and floors are disgusting. Some staff can give off stuck up vibes. Stare you down at the entry. Ay if youre not gonna smile or be cordial dont look at me then. Besides that, its a dope gym. Thanks Mike! The staff is really nice. The gym is always clean! They are extremely helpful. What I love about this gym is there's no rift raft inside. Autumn at the juice bar is amazing! Updating my review. Fitness Mania had an expired card of mine on file. I did not update it with them because I didn't want to continue going to their gym. I check my bank account and see that somehow, months later, they are withdrawing monthly dues. How is this possible if I never gave them an updated card with a new expiry date? They took it upon themselves to change the expiration date on my card in their system by taking a wild guess on what expiration date would work, which isn't hard to do since most expiration dates are another 4 years out once your old card expires. I never ever gave them authorization to do this. It is fraudulent and very scammy. I went in and questioned them about this and their response was "we don't just go in and change expiration dates on credit cards..." Really? Because that's exactly what you did to me. I got a refund for the months they fraudulently billed and I cancelled my membership in writing. read more

In regards to the women arent safe comment , this girl is always yelling at men everytime i see her. She clearly has an issue with herself and thinks everyone is checking her out when clearly if u see her no one is checking her out im sure its a regular eye contact people accidently make anywhere u go and this girl goes off so she clearly has her own issues ive been going too this gym a long time and have not had any issues. SO WORTH $50 bucks a month. Seriously, I was dreading the sign-up sales pitch and was pleasantly surprised by the zero drama to get set up. No contract (nada). Open 24/7. Clean and neat. KNOWLEDGEABLE staff. BEST SPIN class in town. Running track is my FAV. Fitness Mania is my go to gym primarily because of their location, the hours, equipment, running track and sauna. Absolutely BEST local gym. The only down side is that I can't really bring a friend unless they sign up, but aside from that it's worth it. read more

I was at this gym for 2 years. Great place to work out. It does get busy between 5pm-8pm. Yes, there are a lot of people who are fit as heck that go there. It's a gym. There's going to be a lot of them. Front desk is always friendly and always willing to help you. I've left items behind in the showers and they were always gracious to look and hold things for me. Showers, spa and lockers are great. I love that the lockers have a built in lock. I haven't tried their kids center because I have no kids. But, a lot of the gym goers use it and it's always busy. That must be a good sign. The cafe bowls are delicious. It's worth the price. The protein madness bowl is my favorite. The ladies are also friendly always serving with a smile. The only thing about this gym is their safety. There have been a couple break ins into people's cars. Granted, we shouldn't leave our things in plain view. But, it's happened more than once. Which should be a concern for all tenants and clients in that shopping center. Be aware that there are people breaking into cars in the shopping center. Don't leave your belongings in plain view. They will break your window to get your things. There is no security. This is a bittersweet review because I really loved this gym. I hope that the Corona location guarantees client safety and hope to try the gym as soon as it opens. read more

I joined this gym when it was one of the very few gyms open during the pandemic. I love that it is 24 hours and they have a good variety of equipment that you don't see at most franchise gyms. They even have an indoor track upstairs where all the cardio equipment is located. I haven't seen one of those since the old Bally's/LA Fitness in Riverside. I cancelled my membership recently and the process was fast and easy.. have not seen any recurring charges on my account. I would recommend providing some kind of confirmation email or number though. The staff member that helped me just told me the last day I could workout there and that I can keep the key card. I would definitely recommend this gym if you don't mind the crowd. It gets extremely crowded I guess due to the fact that so many other gyms are closed. read more

We have lived in the community for years and have belonged to this gym since it opened and it's definitely not the same. There hasn't been fitness classes for almost 2 years so it's false advertisement and there's a gentleman that works in the front in the daytime who is consistently rude when we go there. I'm assuming he's related to the owners. If you're looking for a gym just for the workout equipment and nothing else. This is your place but if you want amenities with a pool, group exercise classes , etc. this is not it!! Especially for $55 a month . read more

The new fitness mania is open as of august 1st 2020 and I have to say the place is amazing. All new equipment, well ventilated, super clean and plenty of complimentary cleaning supplies available, friendly staff and plenty of parking. The new gym has tons of free weights, machines, benches, squat racks a sauna, and the upstairs just opened (8/11/20)with a running track, treadmills stair master etc. the place is still being worked on and is well worth the price of admission. It's still open during the lame unjust governed mandate and it's great. It's mikes Buisness and it shows he cares about it and his employees. This is now my regular gym! COVID has doomed so many business and I'm glad some people are making sure that they can feed their families and stay open. The reviews seem harsh but listen to me. This is one of the very few gyms that remain open INDOORS in all of Riverside and San Bernardino County so it being packed during peak hours is to be expected. All the workers are nice and helpful, please don't be intimidated. While this gym seems like it full of meat heads it's actually a really nice place with some of the nicest people. All types of workout levels if you actually pay attention to the crowd. They don't enforce wearing a mask, but if you want to wear one, it's your choice. They pride themselves on keeping the gym clean and sanitized at all times. All the regulars at this gym know we risk a lot by continuing to come here and we would like it to remain open. So we all know to clean and wipe our machines down before and after use. Please be courteous and do the same. Peak hours are around 12pm-6pm so be mindful that this place gets CROWDED fast. I tend to go around 1am-3am and the gym is empty! Perfect for a great workout. They have all kinds of machines and free weight. They recently remodeled the gym and added a room where they keep their leg press, hack squat, and squat racks. The upstairs cardio machines and the track are a really nice touch. The locker rooms are always kept clean and they offer towels and disinfectant to clean your machines and weights after use. They also have a sauna in the locker rooms! Overall this place is great and open 24/7. It's a personal choice at the end of the day if you want to come or not. No need to personally attack the owner or it's guest because you don't see eye-to-eye. He has a family and kids to feed too. As do all of us. Keep politics out of it and come and train! Nobody cares! Definitely the most superior gym I've ever been to. Both in terms of the types of equipment and quantity of equipment they have, but also the amount of good-looking people who work out here each day! I'm always blown away by that even though I'm here everyday. I've learned how to stay focused and not get distracted anymore but it does take some effort The vibe in here is another huge plus. Super friendly staff and seeing the same friendly faces everyday has definitely encouraged me to stay disciplined to my daily routine. You can tell the owner takes great pride in his gym. LA Fitness is much more worth your money than this place. The floor was sticky for the entire hour and a half I was there in the weights section and no one came to clean it up. The staff at the front desk were also extremely rude and passive to most people, only pleasant to a few people who i assume they know. The service here is quite poor and you're much better spending your money elsewhere. At least at LA Fitness and others you can get sufficient service and be able to go to many locations all around. From the equipment, to the staff, the locker rooms and cleanliness... seems the only reason this gym doesn't have 5 stars is because of the no mask enforcement. This is a nice fresh change in the gym scene in Riverside if you're tired of the corporate big gyms like 24/LA, a well as the rinkadink ones such as Crunch and Planet. Although a bit on the pricey side, you are paying for a new facility with equipment that may not be at your other gym plus the 24hr availability. Also its no in the middle of some ghetto. Nice juice bar/cafe and i cant wait for the kids club to open because it looks way better than what 24/LA had! Yes, the gym is easily packed. Yes, no one here is "social distancing" and wearing masks for the most part. All personal choices. Everyone here is truly dedicated to healthy life styles and for the most part wont show up sick because they know the value in this place since its opened. Its america, you can always take your business elsewhere and mask up.
