This is the best gym I've ever been a member of. Personal training and workouts every time you go in but they don't stand there breathing down your neck like personal training sessions at other gyms. They make sure you're doing everything correctly and that your form is good and then they leave you alone. But they are always right there in case you have questions or need modifications. They're the best! read more

Best trainers in Riverside! Personalized workouts everytime you go in, my high school son trains here and loves it!

Absolutely love this place! Andrea and the team are very helpful, informative and bring a family atmosphere to the gym. We use her batting cage facility mostly for our travel softball team but she also offers great speed/agility/weight training courses for the girls as well. If youre in need of a gym or cage work for your athlete, look no further. A Taylored Body is where its at. read more

By far joining A Taylored Body was the best decision I have ever made! I have never been "new" to going to the gym, but here I have learned so much about working out and proper technique. You also meet new people and most people at the gym wouldn't say 2 words to ya. Not to mention I have transformed my body! Love ATB! read more

I cant say enough about how much this place has helped me thus far. I've been apart of this gym for a year. Prior to joining I had severe back pain. I was unable to stand for short periods. After my second child I started putting on weight and needed help. Andrea and her team has been a life saver. I started slow but I've gotten to the point that going is part of my daily routine. A taylored body is family friendly and also offer kids classes. Its an amazing gym all around. Its a top notch personal trainer any time of the day read more

A Taylored Body - My daughter and i working out together - Gyms Near Me - Riverside, California

I am wayyy late on my review here! I joined this gym a few years back when I had first moved to the neighborhood. There are lots of gyms around but this was the only one that was personable enough and that offered more one on one training with a wide variety of equipment. Unfortunately I lost my job a few months after signing up for the year membership. Andrea is a literal angel because she was so understanding and made accommodations for me. So sweet. Whenever I'm able to id love to rejoin but until then I highly recommend it to everyone! read more

The best decision you can make for your fitness goals! At ATB you always have an accountability partner guiding you. The trainers are with you every step of the way. The workouts are custom to you and your goals. In the past I've done everything from CrossFit, bootcamp, regular gyms. This gym is hands down the best!! The workouts are varied to give you a challenge along with results. ATB's facility has everything you need from weights, resistance, and machines! The trainers even guide you with nutrition to really get things dialed in! Highly recommend to anyone at any fitness level. read more

This place saved my life. It's not just a gym, it's a family. When I started here I had A LOT of anxiety about working out. I didn't really feel comfortable at all. Fast forward to now and I lost 32lb in a little over a year and strengthened my body, mind, and soul. Andrea and the trainers here truly care about their members. They work with you to meet your fitness and health goals. They are professionals as well. There all people of all ages that come in. Your membership gets you personal training at an amazing cost and there are also classes offered throughout the week. And in these strange times have researched and executed measures to ensure that their members are safe. Like I said, this is a place where you can meet your fitness goals, most likely new friends, and don't get lost in the mix of things. But don't take my word for it, come in and see for yourself. :) read more

Love this gym! There is no place like it. I am more confident in my workouts and consistent because of the results I've seen over the years.

I joined this gym on Memorial Day in order to get fit for my wedding. Although my weight loss isn't what I had hoped, I can safely say that I am the most fit, toned, and strong that I have ever been. I didn't imagine that I would be lifting such heavy weights and I am proud of how strong I am right now. The trainers are very knowledgeable, and I love how the gym tailors the workouts to your goals and how flexible it is that you don't have to make appointments (except for on Friday evenings or Sunday mornings) to do your workouts. It's a really cool and unique concept to get flexible on demand personal training. I think the price is reasonable for what you get and it is a really friendly atmosphere. It is also extremely family friendly - I've never seen a gym that allows babies and kids to come in for free, which is also unique and helps mothers stay fit. My only complaint is that I wish they had better hours on weekends, especially Sunday because I am not a morning person! I would also like to add that even though I am quite COVID conscious, the fact that half the gym is open air with ample ventilation, and that it is so small (would be rare to see 10 people in there) makes me feel safe to attend even though we are still in a pandemic. read more

Great place for one on one fitness! Trainers are knowledgeable, caring and ship you into shape! This place is kid friendly, family friendly, and the price is fair. read more

Always greeted with a friendly smile and all the employees go out of their way to greet you and remember your name. Workouts are different each and every time and there's always someone to ask about modifications or alternate exercises if you have an issue. Seeing great results. If you want to be comfortable in a gym with ppl who care, this is the best personal training gym to go to. They offer challenges and even give back with little competitions to volunteer for. I've created friendships here that I am so thankful for. I have pushed myself like I have never before working out here. Nick and Dre are my go to trainers but there are also more who give you a great work out. This is more than just a gym it's a home. read more

Love this place. The trainers are amazing. You don't need to know anything about fitness, they will guide you and get you in shape in no time. read more

This is a UNIQUE gym. They offer personalized training every single time you show up and can work with you no matter what your skill level is. They find out what your goals are and tailor the workouts to meet them. All the trainers are friendly and show you the exact way every exercise needs to be performed. Also, I have a nagging knee injury and they are able to adapt the workouts around it and have made the muscles around my knee much stronger. All the people working out are very nice and do not judge you on your fitness level. Actually, many of them will share stories with you about how this gym has changed their lifestyle for the better. I have seen the before and after pictures of some them and can't believe the transformation. Your membership includes group classes like yoga, boot camp, spin, kick boxing and others. The yoga classes have helped me with my flexibility and boot camp has increased my endurance. I highly recommend trying this gym out. It's not like all the others. read more

This post is all about love: My love for a taylored body began with my love for groupon (where I found a deal for a 3-month unlimited group classes pass that introduced me to ATB) which I am preaching on my ultimate love-line, yelp! I purchased the groupon deal on a whim but it was the greatest purchase of my life! For the group classes, they have a great selection: bootcamp, spin, Zumba, yoga, boxing, R.I.P.P.E.D., pound, groundworx cardio, karate-- all worth trying, and all taught by great instructors! For the gym, you have personalized workouts made for you by personal trainers EVERY time. I could go on and on about this place. There's not a single thing not to LOVE! read more

I joined this gym back in June. I am a former competitive athlete and this place has reawakened that part of me. All of the trainers are tough but genuinely want you to meet your goals. They create workouts customized to your goals. They will ease you into it and gradually up the intensity of each workout. Personally I've lost 9 inches from my waist since June. Andrea, Smitty, Kenny, Hailey, Sydney, and Troy each have their own style which keeps things interesting. I'm definitely glad I decided to join this gym. I just wish they were open on Sundays. read more

It is easy enough to find any excuse in the book not to work out. Luckily, this gym dispels all the reasons you tell yourself you can't look better, feel better or get stronger. For instance: 1. "I don't have any time." The gym has both personal training and group classes throughout the week that can fit into any person's schedule. When I had a personal trainer in the past I was worried about having to cancel workouts and lose money because something would come up or I would feel too tired. However, you choose whatever time you would like to come in during the typical weekday hours of 5AM-9PM and a personal trainer is always there to individually design your workout. No appointments necessary! Also, they have a great variety of group classes scheduled at different times of the day. The "Boot Camp" class in particular is three times a week and effectively combines both strength training and cardio. 2. "Gyms are intimidating." Since day one each person at this particular gym has been positive and welcoming. For instance, in the past the trainers have asked me what sort of music I like to listen to and then switched to that music channel. In addition, it's nice to have your name remembered when you return. I've tried LA Fitness and other gyms in the past, but I disliked the impersonal feel and it was uncomfortable that the weightlifting section appeared to be dominated by men with very few women thrown into the mix. A Taylored Body has a more balanced gender ratio with a community feel. There is no "meat market" vibe to be found here either. 3. "Working out is so boring." Let your trainer know what you do like to do and what you would like to avoid and they will fit the workout to your specifications. Each trainer also has their particular style to keep you motivated and improving upon your body. Every single workout is different on each day so you are constantly learning and mastering new skills. It's a challenge, but a challenge that entails your attention and feels rewarding. 4. "I won't see any progress anyway." I've had a baby in the past year. As many women can testify they do a number on your body! Yet, I can physically see that the exercises I am doing at my training sessions are getting results. Not only can I see the results, I've noticed a marked improvement in my energy levels and I have clearer cognitive function throughout the day. Finally, I'm noticing that my overall strength is improving as exercises I could barely do at the beginning are starting to come more naturally. This is a great feeling! 5. "A gym membership costs money." If you've hired a personal trainer in the past then you know how expensive they can be. However, at this gym I pay about half the cost of training sessions at another gym, and I get the classes thrown in with the membership as well. While a gym membership does cost money, so do the repercussions of an unhealthy lifestyle. This should definitely be one of the areas of your life in which you "treat" yourself. Overall, I've been very pleased with my experience at A Taylored Body and would highly recommend this as the gym to join in Riverside. read more

A gym that quickly becomes a home. What I enjoy about this place is not only the friendly trainers but the acceptance of all at any skill level and the ability to challenge you constantly to make you better. Smaller facility that offers personalized training any day any time you come in. Set up more like a cross fit gym than a big chain. Group classes available smattered throughout the week. Only thing keeping them from perfection is the weekend hours are limited (7-12 sat and no Sunday) and lack of showers (facility structure doesn't allow for it) To me it's worth overlooking for the amazing atmosphere and genuine concern about your fitness and goals. Excellent communication about class schedules, and changes to hours on holidays. I've been here now since April and I won't be going anywhere else as long as I live in the area. They are so accommodating to special circumstances that may come up for members as well. A legit community gym that cares about you Tip , if you frequent and have no chance of dropping off in your fitness regime, pay for at least 6 mo and save some bucks . Price tier changes based on length you buy. Please do yourself a favor and at minimum give this place an honest try before you settle on something that likely won't live up to what you could be offered here. read more

Amazing gym in Orangecrest/ Mission Grove area. The trainers here are knowledgeable and give you workouts everyday Taylored to your needs and goals. They're not only good at what they do but also are approachable. If you come in, you'll hear a lot of people talk about this place as family-it really is. They also offer tons of classes (spin, yoga, boxing, and an intense bootcamp) and each one is usually easy to sign up throughout the week. Some of the trainers also offer body massages offered right within the facility which is convenient. Come in and give them a try! Look for any specials they have on initial sign-ups read more

Please do not use this gym, overpriced, and frankly, overrated. Not only that but the owner of this gym has no regard for the safety or health of her own clients. She clearly only cares about making money. During this time she is still charging for a membership to her gym even though it is not open. Please do not use this gym at all! read more
