I started taking tennis lessons in January with iTennis and so far I've had a great experience. I signed up as an adult beginner since I've never had any tennis training other than just hitting the ball around with friends. I appreciated the scheduling options for both during the week and the weekends. Signing up was a little confusing through the website as the current session classes are offered alongside the upcoming classes. You have to double check which session you're signing up for. Once I was signed up, I received an email receipt but not a formal confirmation and no instructions as to what to bring or wear or what to expect. The tennis rackets are not provided so you do need to bring your own. The coaches are really skilled and know what they're doing so I suggest you trust their method. You will get better if you listen to them. They're really good at assessing where you're at and meeting you there. They will also make sure you're in the appropriate level of class so they will bump you up or keep you in the same level depending on your skill level. So far I've taken two sessions of Adult Beginner I and I'm excited to be moving up to Adult Beginner II. I really appreciate that they are flexible in terms of making up a class if you have to miss one or one is canceled due to weather. The parking lot can be chaotic at times but you'll always find a spot. The tennis area is gated so you have to check in but it also means that the rest of the park activities don't generally interfere with the tennis classes aside from the noise and occasional weed smoke (usually observed during the evening classes). If you've been curious to try out tennis I highly recommend group classes. read more

Even though it's a public club, specifically founded to include the poorly represented population, there is discrimination and mistreatment going on. Particularly, the lady at the front desk (Bethany) is a very nasty, racial woman. She has been very mean to me, whenever I ask questions. Also, onetime, she sent me to court 11 instead of court 4, while my friends were waiting for me for 1/2 hour on court 4. She did it purposely, because, she knew my friends always play on court 4 at 7.30 am every Tuesdays. Then, she refused to give me a make up class for the last clinic of that block that I missed while I was on vacation, Not only she verbally told me so, but also, she wrote in the tennis clinic schedule, that I have requested and not to give, in case if someone else let me come for a makeup clinic. The new director needs to look into it. otherwise it'll be a racial, unhealthy place for people like me to come and enjoy playing tennis...... so sad read more

Kids' instructors don't seem too interested in what they are doing. Started the sessions late. Too many long water breaks. Our "coach" often chit chatted with another and did not give their students their full attention. One time, the instructor got angry at a child for accidentally hitting a couple balls over the fence. These are 8-11 year olds! It happens. Front desk staff do not seem professional either. Did not receive notification of class cancellations due to heat. Overall disappointing. read more

Not the best customer service. Have had stellar interactions with training staff, but for some reason office staff has been very off putting and very unpleasant. When we pay for a membership and have spent a considerate amount of money on lessons and academy I don't think it should be an issue when my daughter goes in to use the restroom on the off chance we were in the park and not at the tennis center specifically. read more

Very unwelcoming and unprofessional staff. Me and my boyfriend have played here before with no problems before but after we went inside to purchase something from the store we were treated poorly and noticeably different from other patrons. The young white male rang us up for a grip and did not mention that it was a member only court. He accepted our money without mentioning anything else. This would have been the appropriate time to mention reservations and the like. Moments later this young white male comes out to our empty court (which is adjacent to many other empty courts) saying we needed a reservation. He doesn't not mention anything about daily passes (which are available for purchase according to the website) , and quickly leaves to assist someone else (his friend) in the store. It's upsetting that we were treated this way and I refuse to give my money to these people. Just be wary, if you are not white, there may be the possibility of someone flexing what little power they have to make their insipid lives interesting. The young white male ruined what would have otherwise been a decent park. He went out of his way to make this an unpleasant experience for me and my family. The public side of the park is lovely but don't waste your money for sub par tennis courts and pretentious staff. I have been to much nicer tennis clubs, with much nicer and welcoming people, for less than $75 a month. Andulka iTennis has lost their minds charging that much for what they offer. Be wary of the people you surround yourself with here because they need to revisit their values. I'm talking to you, Nick. read more

Our family has been a part of iTennis for almost a year now and our kids are taking group and private lessons. Coach Even Perry manages an organized program and is committed to helping the students improve their tennis skills. My 8 year old son made tremendous growth since working directly with Coach Evan. The group lesson coaches are engaging with the students and the classes are structured to include warm ups, drills, and games to incorporate what they learned. If you're interested in private lessons the office can refer you to a list of coaches to select from. My family has been playing tennis at Andulka Tennis Center for over 10 years. We learned how to play tennis here. Although the tennis facility is owned by the city, it is privately operated by the iTennis company. We are paying members who use the courts but it is also open to non-members to pay for reservation if courts are available. I have been seeing people come and go at Andulka Tennis Center. The only thing that doesn't change is the professionalism of the tennis coaches and care from the clerks. We all have fun taking group and private lessons, playing socially with members and competing on teams or in individual tournaments. We booked time through their Kourts app only to find out that they don't acknowledge the app. We also couldn't pay for a court when we arrived because apparently it requires 2 hours notice even though the place was empty. Not one bit of information online is correct for this place. The price, the times, and the system are all posted incorrectly. This place is a waste the staff were unhelpful. I have been attending iTennis Andulka Park/Riverside for approximately a month and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience so far. As a new customer, I was able to try a variety of classes to determine what I wanted for free. So I attended the beginner/intermediate class, cardio class, advance class. Weighing up all the options, I could have paid a season price for a set class, but the membership deal was a lot better and more flexible to my schedule I found. The membership price is $55/month with an initiation fee of $125. That allows you to participate in 2 specific "red" classes on the weekly schedule. Then there are additional classes which you are able to attend for free with the membership. I have only had experience with the round robbins on Monday nights at 7pm which goes for 2 hours. Then I attend Advance class Thursday nights at 8pm, then Cardio class on Saturday mornings at 830, all 1 hour each. So attending 3 sessions a week turns out to be 12 sessions a month, which would turn out to be $5 per session. So it is good value for money from my perspective. There are also stroke clinics, free general court play, and some other benefits which I have not been able to utilize. I figured 3 times a week is enough for me hahaha. Only downside, is that with the new membership, you get 1 free 30 min lesson which I asked to be contacted about when I signed up. But have not been contacted and it is coming to 3 weeks already. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for that. But, understandable. There are lots happening here. In summary, this is a great place. I live in Redlands/Loma Linda area, and there is nothing like itennis Andulka Park/Riverside in my area. So I was willing to travel to get in some good tennis play! Great coaches Allen, Cesar, and Minh. David is good guy who I see most times at the desk. Was here last weekend with my girlfriend and played for an hour with no issues. People were friendly and we had a great time. Today we were approached by Nick who told us we weren't welcome unless we had a membership. Didn't even mention the $10 pass as if it wasn't an option and had an attitude when I asked why he intentionally left that part out. I also asked why he wasn't haranguing others (hate to say it but they were of a fairer complexion) who walked right past all this. Long story short, Nick is a snarky, pretentious prick with a little man complex and this place should be avoided at all costs. I wanted to improve my game after years of infrequent play. I looked at several options in South Orange County and Riverside County, and decided to give iTennis a try. I booked a lesson with Coach Reuben Dumas, and am really glad I did. After weekly lessons, Reuben has helped me improve my strategy, identify my strengths and weaknesses and build my confidence as a player. He's really a great Coach, I highly recommend him. After taking a few lessons with Reuben, I decided to join the club. It's a friendly, well-maintained facility with a small pro shop. There are lots of membership perks including use of the ball machines, group lessons, cardio tennis and tournaments. Most of the adult classes/activities are at night, but there are a couple of morning classes included with membership. I'm really glad I joined, and look forward to achieving my tennis goals with Coach Reuben's help! read more

Terrible service and white lady with brunette hair was so rude. Came down to the park early in the day just to play for an hour with my in laws and was turned away. We were told we could only play for $55 for a month pass. I have a tennis court I belong to and just wanted one hour to play because we had a picnic at the park. I then talked to members outside and they said they have day passes for $10 if you want to play before they have assigned times. I would not recommend because they are trying to up charge when I only wanted to play once. The lady came out angry and was just unbelievable rude when we said we just wanted to play for an hour max. I would have paid the $10 fee after talking to the other members we saw outside but did not feel welcome. I would never come to play here again and will not recommend to my family or friends. People that are straight up rude are not needed working in places like that! Absolutely terrible!!!! People working should be family friendly I would never join with that attitude. read more

We have been coming to iTennis Andulka for 5 years. All of my three girls take classes here - from Jr. Development to Academy 2. The coaches are all very nice, yet assertive. My girls respect and listen to them. Whenever I have a question I can approach the coaches and they are very knowledgeable and willing to help out. My oldest has had private lessons as well and I've noticed much improvement. In the group classes they know the students by name and group them by ability. They push and encourage all the students to strive for their best. I've looked for other places that are closer to home but they don't compare to Andulka.
