Sauna always out of order that we didn't renew our membership. My husband and I just do our mike walk around the paved trail around the park. Used to be clean and kept well when it was renovated , now it's not at all well maintained by the city, what a shame cause it's pretty much so busy during weekend sports game being held here. When we do our walks in the morning we noticed vagabonds squatting by the covered main gazebo and other occasions others sleeping on Top of picnic tables or benches as well as on the playground equipment . Pungent smell of urine will be sniffed in certain areas but mostly by the covered main gazebo. Some who walks their dog at times won't even clean up after their dog's feces sometimes human's. One thing that is available here are the outdoor gym equipments wherein no need to get membership.. that's cool. Indoor pool is a plus for me cause during summer you don't have to be scorched under extreme heat exposure.

Fun memories when my kids were little playing in little league games. The emotional rollercoaster when games were too close. I tell my kids win or lose it's always a winner when they complain about losing. It's the experience, lesson learned and trying one's best makes it a winner. This park is a winner coming from where it was then and how it is now.

(Which would include the University). This park is located amongst it. Don't let the stigma of the area discourage you, you drive up & see a normal neighborhood filled with mostly working class folks and this park with a small playground, baseball field, basketball courts, skate park & parking surrounding it. Clean restrooms & Pet friendly too. Even though I saw dog crap through out, it wasn't as much as the other popular trails. You have lots of trails & options - no markers, but it's wide open, self explanatory & you won't get lost. You got a good view of the area all around. Although from pictures it looks big, it's relatively under 2 miles. I did close to 3 miles doing laps. Coming down can be tricky with the rocky dirt inclines - wear good comfortable shoes with good tread & just use caution going down because you'll slide. And your not too far to drive up towards Arrowhead & Crestline, etc., more options to explore.

I take my 20 month old here for the pool, so my review is based on the pool, not the center in its…read moreentirety. I like this particular pool because of the "kiddie pool". Unfortunately, for a kiddie pool, this means 9 year old and older "kiddies" throwing each other around in the pool and knocking my son and I around. When I expressed this concern to someone at the front desk, I was dismissed with "that's why it's a rule that the parent has to be in the pool with their kids". I WAS in the pool with my son and I take full responsibility for his safety, however, I shouldn't have to be pulling my son from under water because a 9 year old was thrown on top of him. On a sidenote: the older kids were not accompanied by their parents....hmmmm. I was a lifeguard for YEARS and this would not have been tolerated behavior with the pools I worked for. In fact, kids over a certain age (this was years ago, so I don't remember the exact age) were not even ALLOWED in the kiddie pool. I will continue to take my son here because he loves the pool, but it is with disappointment as to how they tolerate this behavior and dismiss concerns from their patrons and Fontana residents :(
