I have been coming here for two years now and I commute from Menifee because of the great owners and excellent trainers!! The trainers are very supportive and always give me that extra push I need !! Even the clients are supporting when they see me struggling!!! I do not like going to gyms where people tend to be intimidating and feel that they are better than everyone else and u don't get that here...except for maybe one older menopausal unfriendly lady...but all the other good people outweigh the bad. For every question I ask I always get an answer. My experience coming here has been rewarding. I really enjoy the kickboxing sessions. The WOD is written on a board and they always explain every exercise without hesitation. On Sunday mornings they have a body conditioning class from 7-8 and kickboxing from 8-9. read more

I started coming to Gymrats fit end of June. I was really looking for a gym that had excellent client results, so after trying them out for a couple of weeks (groupon deal) , I made the decision to sign up for a year.. (Best birthday present ever lol )... Anyhow , this gym's classes are WORK....there are no games.hard work pays off.. I bought the 4 week bootcamp Groupon and loved going here. The coaches are great and always help to correct your form and I got some great tips to help me with my future workouts. Each workout I did was challenging and I always felt sore the next day. I met some nice ladies who also worked out there but there are also some that were just there to workout and don't even make eye contact or say hi. I was actually going to join but no one ever called me back after I left a message and I even attempted to call during different times of the day in hopes to get a hold of a real person but found it impossible. It makes me wonder how much business they lose because of this. It's unfortunate. After not hearing from them, I decided not to join and just to focus on improving my current workouts at home. read more

I definitely recommend this boot camp to anyone looking to get into shape or wants to shake up their existing workout routine. I was exclusively doing weight training before joining this boot camp and decided to try it with a roommate of mine who had success with it. I needed some cardio to add to my workouts in order to burn fat. I will say the boot camps are difficult but addicting - the trainers challenge you to do your best and make sure you are using proper form. They care about your health and safety and it is definitely a family type atmosphere. Boot camps aside, the lead trainer Andy can do meal and supplement plans, workout plans, and 7-site body composition, which is much more accurate than those handheld devices. I am currently doing the meal and workout plans and have dropped body fat already. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! read more

My husband and I came across Gym rats, through a friend of mine. She mentioned that they had group on options, so I checked it out. Great options! She's a current member there, so we decided to sign up so that we could get back into gear of working out together. Such a great environment, focused trainers that are constantly pushing you and helping us to work out in correct form. This was my second time in a boot camp environment and my husbands first. I absolutely love being in this kind of environment. They provide the workouts, give you the tools... it is just your job to make use of it and get the most out of your workout. When I first started, I could barely run around the building without taking a break to walk, in just a month I can see the huge difference of running. I was afraid in the beginning that I won't be able to keep up with the bootcamp environment but I was challenge and here I am always looking forward to workout. Everyday is different so you'll be push to your limit. Prepare to be sore but in a good way. Amazing trainers, they know what you are capable of so no playing games with them. They will help you with the workouts, correct your form and will always encourage you. Everybody is friendly and you become gym buddies. We motivate each other and they're like classmate, always excited to workout with them. They also have one one training, meal plans and they particiapate on marathons. Awesome environment to workout! The classes are small groups. This helps keep you motivated thru that session (which is needed because they push you!). The other members are friendly. The trainers are knowledgeable and helpful. Each class is different than the last so it's not boring or repetitive. I am challenged every week and work harder than I ever have.
