I've been wanting to try Fit Eats for months! My husband and kids were out of town for several days this week and I thought that would be a great opportunity to not cook at all and give this a try. I was skeptical, especially with the breakfasts because I've never had good experiences trying to reheat eggs and microwaved food in general is just blah. I was so pleasantly surprised! I use the reheat button on the microwave (so it's not just a constant blast of full heat) and everything comes out wonderful! The food tastes amazing and even though some of the portions look small, they really fill you up! It's hard to make such nutritiously balanced meals without buying a ton of ingredients and ending up throwing some away. Also it's been really hard trying to plan healthy menus and keep portions and calorie counts within my goals, but this makes it super convenient and easy! I will need to start cooking meals again for my family in a couple days but I plan to use this service for breakfasts and lunches at least. No processed foods, no preservatives, and well rounded nutrition make this a wonderful healthy and convenient choice! read more

We've been ordering Fit Eats foods for two months and are happy with the healthy choices. Some foods taste better than others, but that's a matter of personal choice. Some of the problems we've experienced include damaged ice packs, which result in a slimy interior in the insulated bag, damaged insulated bags, and the temperature of the food seems to be above the safety zone (not cold enough) when delivered. Their customer service in resolving an incomplete delivery and getting the refund for the missed item has not been handled nor communicated efficiently. read more

I'm generally a very picky eater. I was super skeptical about Fit Eats working for me. I have to say though I am hooked. It truly makes life so much easier not having to worry about meal prepping or making dinner. The portions are filling and the pricing is fair. Changing over to fit eats easily fit in our budget with removing grocery shopping and going out to eat all the time. We're probably actually saving money! Absolutely love it! I've been using this service for about a month now and am mostly satisfied. I love the convenience and the quality of ingredients. The meals have always been waiting for me on delivery days when I walk out the door to go to work. I love that they are always adding new ingredients. However, lately there have been some issues. Today I had the roasted chicken with yam soufflé. This is one of my favorites and I order it at least once a week. Unfortunately the yams were not cooked enough and had quite a crunch to them. Last week the teriyaki chicken meal was very scant on the chicken. And my gluten-free pancakes were burned black on the bottom on more than one occasion. It seems like quality control has been on vacation. The prices are reasonable but I can't justify spending it when the food isn't consistently prepared correctly. I sincerely hope things improve because I don't want to go back to slaving away in the kitchen every Sunday to have lunches for the week! read more

I had 2 deliveries for a total of 6 meals. Everything I ordered was really good and I love knowing that the food is non-gmo and organic. The only thing I would say is somethings just dont re-heat well such as the yam fries. They were good but soggy when I ate them the next day. I would definitely order from them again! read more

My friend has been getting meals from Fit Eats for more than 6 months. I've been struggling with weight gain and controlling my dinner portions lately, so she recommended I give them a try. I'm also not fond of cooking. I bought a Groupon and stopped by the Sacramento store. The saleswoman was super friendly and helpful. I bought 13 different lunch/dinner meals and froze half of them. It's now two weeks later and I would repeat 10 of them. I also had meals delivered for the first time this morning. Very convenient service from start to finish. I plan to order again. read more

A woman my sister works with told her about Fit Eats and she shared the information with me. At the time, I was seeking a prepared meal delivery service to help me with portion control issues as I am morbidly obese (but shrinking) and have health issues as a result. After looking at many programs, such as ediets, freshology, bistro MD, etc., it became clear to me that having a considerable amount of disposable income is necessary to utilize a prepared meal program that isn't loaded with scary food additives. So, I took a look at Fit Eats and gave it a try. If you need bold flavors in order to keep you from being bored by your daily menu choices, this might not be the for you. I like many of the meals because the food is simple, filling, pleasant, and portion controlled. When eating these meals I do not get hungry. Keep in mind that this is not a diet program. I know this, but that is how I use the foods. If you are seeking a diet plan, that is on you. I was eating three of these meals a day, but it is just too much protein for me. Believe me, if you are a meat lover you will like these entrees. My main criticisms--vegetables are in short supply in these meals. I wish they were more veggie rich. The second is more serious. Fit Eats delivers meals in bags they collect from you when delivering your next batch of meals, or when you turn them at the time you pick up the next batch. I am not sure if they clean the bags between deliveries. The ice packs (which are reused) have been moldy and slimy recently, and I am starting to fear contamination from bacteria. While the ice packs don't touch your food, the interior of the bag and the exterior of food containers are exposed. My experience with calling their office to express a concern or ask a question...well...the woman who always answers the phone when I have called is a rude, confrontational, non-customer service oriented individual. She makes you feel as if your business doesn't really matter to them. I am not the first person to say it. I really want them to address these issues. If they do, I can give them a five star endorsement...if not, I have to stop ordering from them. read more

The food at superfoods is really good! I really enjoy the fact that there are so many meals to choose from and they even have desert! We placed an order several days before the delivery date. Even mentioned it on their Facebook page that we just placed our first order to be delivered Monday and they responded, "Yay!" Come Monday morning we open the door to see that NO food was delivered. Totally threw my entire day off schedule. It took an email, two Facebook page posts, a contact note on their website, and two phone calls for a return call at 10:00 am to get a response. Their response was it was a computer glitch. Well the site charged us just fine but they weren't able to ship out the food? If they would of said to us "we will get the food out to you ASAP and the order will be free of charge or your next order will be on us" I would of given them a second chance to remedy whatever happened but their idea of resolving the issue was to deliver food to us between 6 pm and 8 pm and that isn't useful at all. So we requested a refund. Keeping our fingers crossed that they are able to handle the refund process. Totally bummed out. It would of been a great service to use if they were actually able to fulfill their orders. read more

Update for both weight and menu options. I dropped another 12 lbs and ended up settling around 190. Im using Superfoods for 3 meals 5-6 days a week. One cheat day (usually Sun/Mon) and I have been eating oatmeal (half cup) each morning and juice or some fruit. I also have many friends try and they are more than happy with the product as well. They have added some new meals as they normally do. Try the Lasange, the Mongolian Beef as I said earlier, and also the new Turkey Bacon Burger which is great too. (My typical Friday night meal) Many friends favorites are the breakfast burrito, but I haven't tried yet. French toast is another one I hear is great. I also like how all the ingredients are posted so you know exactly what you are eating. The long and short is that this is a great little local company, and they are nailing it. Food is great, you can't eat any better any easier, and at the end of the day is is very reasonable. I am actually saving money by using this service and staying away from the restaurants I was typically going to. If you want to eat better and learn to cook/eat healthier, this is the way to go. If you can find a way to eat 4/5 times a day every 3 hours, you are golden. Best of luck on getting healthier! read more

Fit eats is a time saver for our busy lifestyle. They compliment the days we need a little extra help with meal prep. This is the start of the 3rd month my husband and I have ordered meals. They are here on time, early in the morning, for the days when we need help with breakfast. At night after getting home from the gym at 8:30 pm, nice to know there is a healthy Protein packed dinner ready in seconds. My husband and I have very different food choices and Fit Eats compliments both of our needs. Portions are matched to a balance Carb, Protein, Fat, and Fiber content. Sodium content is coming. We cook with spices and do not add salt, so if you are on a Low Sodium diet, in our opinion, they do not over season with sodium, which we like. They use fresh ingredients and delivery is on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays and new items are added each week. We look forward to what the new items they will be serving. My favorite breakfast is the Strawberry Banana Waffles which are gluten free. My husband's favorite dinner is the Korean BBQ Beef. read more

I have been keeping a food diary since 2007. Every Saturday, I was preparing meals and inventing new recipes to ensure my meals were nutritious, low calorie and tasted good. This had become my new part time job. It was so overwhelming that I started eating out several times a week or stopping at the grocery store to get a "low calorie" already made meal. Who knows what the nutritional value was? I started ordering from Fit Eats last month. WOW!! I'll admit I was a little scared because the portion size seemed small. I thought, I guess I will have to prepare snacks for the day. Nope! I can't believe it but actually I get full before I even finish my meals. Having my breakfast and lunch meals prepared for me to take to work has been so beneficial. I only need to worry about the dinner meal and I can cook one meal for the entire family. I am so excited about the meals. Not only are they fulfilling but the best part IT TASTES GOOD. Do NOT use this service! My daughter sent me an order and I liked it so I thought I would try it. I placed an order and didn't receive it. When I called, the manager named Stephanie told me the driver couldn't get in to the gate with the gate code I provided. I asked why the driver didn't call me or contact me from the gate. Stephanie told me it wasn't allowed. She was MOST unprofessional. She was rude, screamed, yelled at me, implied I was stupid and refused to provide me with her supervisor's contact information. She made no attempt whatsoever to resolve this matter even though Fit Eats website clearly states that it there is a problem with delivery, the company will make every effort to resolve the matter. The only resolution was for me to take off work without pay and permission and go pick up my order. When I explained that I was unable to do that, Stephanie told me they would charge me a 25% restocking fee! When I asked for a refund, all Stephanie was scream at me so loudly that my office assistant could hear the shouting and came in to ask if I was ok. Contrary to what Fit Eats claims that the company will replace your meals or workout a solution to your satisfaction. All I wanted was for the meals I paid for to be delivered during the next delivery day. I don't that that was an unreasonable request. I have NEVER been treated so badly by someone who claims to be the manager of the company! read more
