Over a month ago I took 6 pairs of pants to this dry cleaners/ tailor. I have taken clothes before. There was no issues. Now in June I take them 4 of them that needed the hem taken and 2 needed hem and the sides taken in. I put them on to show exactly what I wanted. I paid half the cost which was over $100. Ok 1 1/2 weeks later I went to pick them up and paid the remaining balance. I got back to the house and tried them on. The pants that just needed the hem, were fine, no problem. But the 2 pants that needed the sides taken in. I was angry. I didn't see a difference to them. I go back the next day and they can't help me because the seamstress was not there. Days later, they tell me to return the first week of July because she was on vacation. Come July 5, I return and she was there, I showed her why I was not pleased snd all she could say was That it was done, perhaps but not what I wanted. No difference between when I first took them and this past week. They lost a customer. read more

I needed dress alterations. I called to make an appointment and they got me in the same day for a fitting. The dress was pinned and sent out to be altered. I was a little nervous but they came through and my dress was perfect. The hem was perfect. The top shoulder straps were still a bit too big but overall I was very happy with the quality of the work and the fast turn over! Highly recommend! read more

I walked in on Saturday to inquire about alterations price for a dress I need by 8/13. I told the man behind the counter I wanted a price before a left and he said yes yes yes no problem, he than began to make a BIG fuss about them being closed for vacation 8/1-8/6 I said whatever can you do it or not?? He proceeded to tell me yes and to try the dress on, I tried on my dress along with the shoes as he began adding safety pins. When I took off the dress he said he would have the alterations man call me by the end of the day (Saturday) never received a call. Was VERY hesitant to leave my dress there but I did. Being that they were closed Sunday I called Monday morning and was told the alterations guy would call me by the end of the day today, it's now almost 4pm Monday and I never received a call. Will be going back today to pick up my dress because I do not have the time to be waiting around!! read more

I was just physically assaulted by the owner After n altercation we has relating to my dissatisfaction with stains on my comforter that weren't there when I dropped it off. He mocked me in front of another customer and told me I was crazy. Then he walked away! I told the girls I'm taking the comforter. I had my 3 1/2 year old in one hand and the comforter in the other, the next thing I know he has me in a choke hold in the parking lot! Omg! Did you ever! Do not go here!!!! read more

I've been a customer here for years so I couldn't believe that after they ripped the entire sleeve of my shirt that they wouldn't replace it. They insulted me by telling me that my shirt was old and clothes don't last forever and it was cheap material. Then the owner told me that I was young and stupid and I don't know what I'm talking about. I told them I will never do business with them again and they said "that's fine just leave" This business is very unprofessional and I won't be bringing my clothes there anymore. read more

Fishkill Plaza Cleaners melted a pair of pants to a suit and tried to blame it on moths or a cat. Although I've been using them for at least 10 years this is the first time they have ruined something. The first thing the woman behind the counter points out when picking up the pants were a series of holes on one of the suit pants. After taking a closer look the holes were in a straight line and ran the length of the pants as though someone had melted them during the ironing process. I explained that those holes were not there when I brought them in but immediately I was accused of trying to have them pay for a pair of pants I purposely new were damaged and dropped them off so I could get a free pair of pants. ??? The gentleman who owns the store then comes out and continues to rant that I am a liar and I would get nothing. Then he tried to blame the holes on moths. ??? I'm not sure I know of any moths that eat pants in a straight line. Then he asked, "maybe you have a cat"? Holy cow!!!! I think I would know if I had a cat...how many people out there have a cat roaming there house without them knowing???? In any case, I have damaged pants and still had to pay for the dry cleaning.
