We had reservations over the weekend. We showed up 15 min early and had to wait 10 min after our reservation time. The food was really good. It's family style sharing. So the server gives you a card to fill out and you mark how many dishes of each item you want. They bring it all out at once. Or as it's ready. There is no children's menu. No kids food at all. There are some appetizers but nothing for picky eaters. Our toddler had a melt down because there was no food she was used to eating. But lesson learned. We tried something new and exposed our toddler to new food. The adults loved the food though. We had to get her chicken nuggets and French fries after dinner. But it was worth exposing her to a variety of new foods. Our baby loves all the foods and enjoyed the flavors. read more

It's great to have this as one of the few high-end dining options in Everett! The location on the water is incredible and I love the interior/exterior design. 2 stars in Yelp = "Could've been better," and that certainly applies here. Not sure what all the hype is about this place, other than hype. Once you find the entrance, which is the red door, it's a visually beautiful place. However, the restaurant's outside signage leaves much to be desired. Remember the red door if you decide to go. Inside, we found the seating kind of meh. Very little inside seating for anything bigger than 2 or 3 people. The patio with garage door seating is okay but not particularly comfortable and a bit chilly (we finally asked for the heater to be turned on). The view is okay, but it's basically a marina view. The rest of the restaurant interior is basically a "Crazy Rich Asians" movie kind of celebration. Too bad the food doesn't live up to the hype. The food is just average at best. Temperatures vary wildly, from the almost cold soup we were served to the blistering hot soup in the soup dumplings. The spicing is far too weak or even almost absent in most dishes. They are visually pretty and very expensive plates of food but lack substance and taste. And that kind of sums up this entire place. That essence is embodied in the shrine to the owners, which is the painting on the wall at the end of the main dining room (see photos). We won't be back. Overpriced. Underwhelming flavor. The food is not bad, it's just barely below average and not anywhere near worth the prices charged. Far better Asian food places exist, both at more reasonable prices with less posh decor and with the posh decor but with food quality to match, and they are only a few miles away. read more

This was our first visit, on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. I have been told numerous times to try. The ambiance was to die for on the beautiful Everett waterfront. Went here a few days ago and I'm pretty impressed. When it comes to good higher end Chinese food in Everett, I would say there's practically a 0% chance you will find anything, until now. Fisherman Jack's is on the water close to the newer area of Everett. Good location with a nice view of the sound. Inside the ambiance definitely hits another note, and best suited as maybe a date place. We came for lunch so didn't have any drinks. We ordered a wide selection of food, and even though it was pretty good, I found it a little lacking in some spots and the prices were a little on the higher end for what you got. We ordered several dishes from the Bok Choy, the honey walnut prawn wraps, potstickers, xiao long bao, Neptune noodles, and sweet and sour chicken. Bok Choy is well... Bok Choy lol. It's green and healthy. Honey walnut prawn wraps was an interesting take, but for the amount of money you spend for a few pieces seemed like a killer to me. Potstickers were just potstickers. Xiao long bao to me was pretty good, but it was a little odd that the meat seemed dry but when you bit into it a massive amount of soup came out. Neptune noodles was pretty good and considering it had a good amount of crab on it, I think it justified the heftier price tag. The sweet and sour chicken was surprisingly good. Cool place! Came here on a Friday evening on a whim with a friend, they sat us almost immediately in the bar which was super nice! They had left over summer cocktails for $10, the mirage was really good. Our waiter was enthusiastic and very nice, the vibe of the restaurant is cool. I got the spicy wontons and added noodles, it was so, so salty. Not much spice, either that or me being so dehydrated distracted me from it. Walking in, I really like the decor and layout. It reminds me of Din Tai Fung. I'd give their ambiance a 5/5. We had a little issue with the host stand though. We walked in and asked for a table. They said they would put us on the wait-list and took our number. We said we'd wait in the car. We waited about 45 minutes and I saw there was an open table reservation and booked.it thinking we might be able to get in faster that way than on the wait-list. We walked back into the front and noticed the waiting area was pretty empty. The couple that had just walked in was able to get a seat immediately. I thought that maybe they had a reservation but then after the hostess looked surprised to see us, and we got sat, I saw all of the empty tables around.. then the couple right behind us in line got a table immediately right next to us... so they definitely forgot about us and we probably could've been sat way earlier. Sucks because we were just waiting in our car the whole time. So I'd say probably either stay inside if you go on the wait-list or book through OpenTable before going because it doesn't seem like the wait-list is something that integrates with reservations and things... Or they just don't look at it often. Service at our table was good though. The waitress was really friendly and helpful, as well as the people who brought us our food. I'd probably give the food a 4 in terms of taste, but considering the pricing I'd give it probably a 3. In my opinion it's a little overpriced but I also think Din Tai Fung is overpriced personally. We ordered the green beans, clams, soup dumplings, pan fried buns, hot and sour soup, and chow mein. I'd say the pan fried buns,chow mein, and clams were my personal favorite. I'd definitely give the dessert a 5/5 though. The walnut buns and cheesecake were both really good and I'd definitely come back for that. The compote tasted like they made it in house. Overall, I'd recommend this place as a place to grab a dinner if you want to eat at a nice clean place and don't mind spending a little bit of money. For my experience this place is a 3 star. Service was terrible, hair in my food, and super small portion of sautéed green beans for $12.00. The name throws me off because this restaurant is 100% Asian cuisine, which all Asian cuisine includes the seafood items. So it is kind of weird that they would call it a seafood Asian fusion. Anyway, it's pretty much like a Din Tai Fung...even the way we ordered food reminded me of DTF. Ambiance is excellent. I love the vibe, the decor, the lighting, the view, even the table setting. For food, we got bbq pork bao, cucumber salad, gestured green beans, shrimp and brocolli stir fry, beef chow mein, chicken fried rice, two glasses of wine, and a scoop of mocha almond fudge ice cream for dessert. Let's start with service...we got seated right away and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Water was served to us promptly. The server came by and took our drink order. We got two glasses of wine and it took 15 minutes to arrive. We actually had to stop the server as they walked by to ask about it. After our wine arrived we ordered food. After our order was placed, we rarely saw the server. Food runner brought our food out to us. Food: Bao buns came out first and they were pretty good. Very fresh and tasty. Next was the cucumber salad, which tasted like bread and butter pickles with more vinegar. I liked it. The garlic green beans was served next and that's when noticed a blonde hair in my food and hanging off the plate!!!! We let the server know so that was re-made and removed from our tab. The main entrees came out next and everything was super flavorful and amazing. The beef in the chow mein was unbelievably soft, tender, and seasoned! Sooo good. And the fried rice was bursting with flavor too. I loved all the bright veggies in the shrimp stir fry. The thickness of the sauce went well with the shrimp and veggies. The ice cream was really good too, but I want to try the walnut bao next time I dine in. Server eventually came back, so we ordered dessert. They boxed our food up nicely for us and returned it in a reusable bag. We wanted the chocolate bao buns but they didn't have any. It's on the menu, but they don't serve it! After ordering dessert, the server brought the bill, however it was incorrect. There were three different items completely unfamiliar to me but still put on our tab. I was about to dispute it, but luckily the server already knew what was wrong. Phew All in all, I am happy we tried this establishment. You should too! I think fisherman jacks is one of my new favorite restaurants in Everett. I made reservations for the afternoon on a Wednesday and it was not busy. We got a nice table with a pretty view of the marina. Service was great and super fast! I loved all the dishes we ordered. My favorites are the Mongolian beef and crab rangoons. They have dim sum but it's not like din tai. Their gyozas are really good too. I loved the chili oil paired with it. At first I was a little skeptical because it's the same owners of China City in Mill Creek. Which used to be my fave but lately it hasn't been great. I will say I was pleasantly surprised. It was a Friday evening so it was packed but got a seat at the bar. The drinks were top notch and the vegan options were so good. Service was amazing as well. The biggest issue was the parking. When the waitress finally appeared we ordered then ignored most the meal. Food came quickly but all at once, soup, salad, entrees then the appetizer that we thought they may have forgotten at the end. The restaurant was loud and busy with lots of waitstaff but a total lack of service. Food was alright but surprisingly under seasoned with all 'spicy' dishes very mild and almost insipid. The staff had a few chances to improve the situation like moving us to another table that was open or at least checking in on things during the meal but it seemed they wrote us off since it was busy and we were not super happy with the large dick graffiti on our table. The staff was very attentive and were mindful of my orders - knowing when to put in orders due to the food having a prep time. We ordered 2 XLB, veg fried rice, shrimp mayo app, fried pork buns and bok choy. They were all pretty good. They don't serve ginger for XLB so you need to ask for it. They gave me julienned ginger last time but grated watery ginger this time. Not good.. please serve Xiao Long Bao with black vinegar/soy sauce and julienned ginger.. Of all the dishes we had, I liked the shrimp app. Crisp shrimp smothered with cream sauce served on top of lettuce leaf. Yum!! In short Yes, there's some emphasis on seafood, but the dim sum and other Chinese dishes are the stars. Huge dining room, gorgeous setting, fantastic bar. In long The city, port, and private businesses have massively transformed the waterfront up here, and this is is one of the centerpieces. Brand-new construction overlooking the marina and facing west out to Jetty Island. It's not much for architectural aesthetics, but it's certainly nice, and it's all about the setting, anyway. There's a bit of parking around here, but spaces fill up fast. Kinda like seats inside--make sure to book ahead. You walk in through a massive heavy door and find a lobby with nice decor and a bit of seating. You can see the bar with big custom steel wine racks, lots of brown liquor up on the shelves, and a huge flatscreen. They're serious about making this a nice place to eat and drink. It's also welcoming and unpretentious. Very nice balance. Quick note on the host station. Last night, the only glitch in service was at check-in. The kids taking us to our table were friendly and nice, but the hostess herself was abrasive, just bristling with impatient condescension. Might have been a bad day, or maybe she's just been at it too long and has gotten burned out. If there's any repeat of that attitude, they'll need to put different people up front to create a more welcoming impression. We walked past cool decorations and a football field worth of floor-to-ceiling windows facing out over pleasure-boat moorage and sparkling saltwater. There are covered and uncovered patios outside as well. We sat down next to a 10'-tall abacus. Handy for splitting the bill! Nothing looks antique or cluttered, but there's a clear pattern of adding Chinese touches to functional pieces. Everything flows. You order dim-sum-style, marking everything you want with a pencil on a small sheet of graph paper. There are nice chipboard food and drink menus on the table as well. We had waters instantly and cocktails did not take long at all. Hot & sour soup 2 of us ordered it. All 3 of us dug it. Nicely done, mildly seasoned, veg still crunchy. Lobster dumplings Pork soup dumplings Siu mai Spicy wontons All excellent! Just the right amount of chewiness to the wrappers, beautifully flavorful fillings. Ask for chili sauce and they bring you out a pretty little dish with an elegant little spoon in it. I don't mind the little plastic jars most places offer, not at all, but this felt nicely sophisticated. We had a wonderful sisters dinner with the spouses' last night at Fisherman Jack's. Thankful we made last minute reservations online as they were very busy at opening and even more so around 7pm. The restaurant is massive and well decorated. It is clean with well placed art and deco. The massive windows that look out to the water provide a gorgeous view. Service was impeccable. They do not hover by somehow know when you need something. Recommendations for drinks, dinner and dessert were all spot on. I ordered amazing mocktails. A concoction of what I was looking for and what the bartender came up with. The beer , wine and hard alcohol available was extensive. We ordered so much food. There were 6 of us. We had 2-3 items out of each category. Garlic cucumber salad, really too but not a huge serving. Seafood fried rice, the seafood was fresh and well cooked. Chicken chow mein. Lobster dumplings, lobster had great flavor and cooked to perfection. Spicy won ton, the broth was very good. Not a lot of spice in the wontons as it was in the broth. Pork XLB. Hot and sour soup. Walnut shrimp wraps, 1 walnut shrimp in one cup of lettuce. Great finger food size. Dungeness crab Rangoon, not like other places with cream cheese. It was fresh crab. The ones that stuck out were the Mongolian beef. The beef was very tender,not fatty or chewy. The desserts we had were amazing. Spicy wontons were soo good! I could drink the broth. The Mongolian beef also was extremely tender and flavorful with the perfect little kick of heat at the end. The garlic cucumber salad is delicious, the pork wonton soup, I feel like there's something missing in the soup, and I wish the greens there include some cilantro, the wonton itself is okay, right size but taste wise I've tasted better ones. The sampler is okay, except for the gyoza, the rest tasted like something I've already had from the Asian stores. I sort of expected a certain unique taste that is just theirs. We have been to Fisherman Jacks a few times and always have a great experience. The food is fresh, delicious, the cocktails always hit the spot, and the service is wonderful. Plus they have a wonderful view of the Everett marina. We started our meal with the Hot and Sour Soup, which I would *highly* recommend. Our other favs were the Walnut Shrimp Wraps, the Miso Black Cod, and the Sautéed Green Beans. We will be back (again!)! My other recommendation would be to dress warmly. I am surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating! I have been twice, once for lunch and once for dinner and was really impressed each time. I am excited about the Port development and all the upscale dining options coming with it. This is a great spot for a date night or just a night out. Absolutely loved Fisherman Jack's! The food was such high quality and service was spectacular. Our favorite dishes were the honey walnut shrimp, the mussels, the spicy wontons, and the miso black cod, which was cooked to perfection. Lovely ambiance too. We'll be back! read more

Came here for a nice lunch/dinner and was pleasantly surprised! Ambiance was lovely, interior was nice and the large windows out to the water is great. Service was good as well, no complaints. Food was delicious! Enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, especially the dumplings. Food also came out quickly along with the drinks. Drink menu has fun options too. Overall great experience. read more
