Fish and chips
Alex K.

Huge cod portion with tartar sauce and lots of chips. You could get rock fish or upgrade to haddock. Cute little restaurant located under the train bridge that has been around for awhile. Good service, clean bathrooms.

One of my must haves being in London for the first time was to have fish and chips. This place did not disappoint! Small restaurant under the bridge not far from the train station. 3 of us ordered the cod fish and chips, and one ordered a grill fish (why do that?!). I read they leave the skin on the fish which wasn't issue for any of us. One bite into my fish and I was shimmying. It was excellent! The chips were really good too. Decent size portions. Prices were reasonable. Service was friendly and efficient. Our hop on/off bus tour guide even said this was the only place he would go in Waterloo for fish and chips! Highly recommend!

I simply love it, real authentic Fish & Chips like it's supposed to be, no fancy touristic bullshit just plain and honest food. Well, bad luck that the card reader wasn't working when we've been here but normally it should. You come here for exactly that food "Fish & Chips" and that's the place to go. Restaurant is small and located under a bridge but that's exactly what we wanted visit ... Somehow Yelp still says you get a free drink here on check-in but the owner told me they quit working with Yelp like years ago ... he still wanted to grand me a free drink, I didn't take it though, don't want to rip businesses off when it's actually not a valid offer anymore.

Amazing fresh fish!!! Can't say enough good things about this place. Had the haddock fish & chips. Delicious and the chips!!! Yum!!!

Fried cod and chips

I asked my friend from London if she could recommend a fish and chips spot and she said her friends rolled their eyes, but this was one of the spots they mentioned. We were planning to seek out a more traditional pub, but happened upon this one across from where we were doing a bike tour and felt like it was meant to be. They fried the fish, which is all locally sourced, upon order so it was hot and fresh. My son and I each ordered the cod and the portions were huge. We definitely could have split it if we ate all of the chips. Fresh tartar sauce, instead of the Heinz packet, would have topped it off nicely. Overall, it was a great place to check off the "English cuisine" box. The name alone deserves 5 stars (I was only disappointed that they weren't playing music from the Studio 54 era).

Very simple but fresh and delicious cod and chips! Their curry sauce is so flavorful with a little kick. I would eat here again!

We stopped here for a late lunch. We split haddock and cod and mushy peas. Everything was delicious. The mushy peas were my favorite. Great first experience!

Joined my travel group friends for traditional fish and chips. Excellent service - very homey inside - greeted at the door and room for all of us to dine together! Highly recommend to experience traditional fish and chips. The cod fish was served hot and very tasty. I had the medium which came with a very large filet of cod fish and bowl of chips. One side note is I did notice they did not serve any alcoholic beverages but bottle beverages only.

We were in London and had to Fish & Chips. Found this place on Yelp. Short walk from The Eye. Upon entering, it felt like being part of a Guy Ritchie movie. It really felt like a local resto. Great service and food was good too! Would recommend to others looking for something close.

The fish was good and the batter was nice. The service was not so much. I believe it's family ran but either way every time woman came in the men were all goggling over them and everyone in the restaurant knew it. I asked for plain water and was brought a bottle. Bad way to upscale the water. I sayed no thx, just tap and got a shrug. Also didn't like the rush to order. He asked three times before I had even read the whole menu. And then when he repeated the order I didn't realize what I had pointed and asked for was not read back. Again rushed..... not a fan

Amazingly crispy fish and chips. The best I've ever had. You gotta go here! The malt vinegar is the cherry on top of this dish.

Tiny place but great fish and chips. They have either grilled or battered fish and both are very good.

I thought higher but Fiance thinks lower so we will meet in the middle haha Roasted Duck-- I thought this was tasty and full of flavor, paired well with my noodle soup Crispy Pork Belly-- good and crispy, but Fiance thought it could use more flavor Egg Noodle Soup-- it hit the spot because it was freezing outside lol but i believe it was dry egg noodle vs fresh egg noodle that was used Stir-fry vegetables-- good but also a bit oily House Fried Rice -- Fiance's favorite dish So happy this time around we got to try Four Seasons, go early beause the restaurant will quickly fill up around lunch time!

There's a "Little Four Seasons" connected to the standard "Four Seasons" and an upstairs that (maybe?) encompasses both-- as far as I can tell the same menu and service applies to both/all. A poster with a review from the London Financial Times points to their roast duck as "the best in the world"-- I am by no means qualified to know if that is true but I ordered the 3 meat option with duck, pork belly, and barbecue chicken and found the duck to be delicious (as were the other meats). The rice is very good, not greasy at all. My wife had chicken and rice, and her chicken was a lighter grilled chicken that was also good. We had an order of the pork dumplings which were also great. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Prices fair.
