a plate of seafood and rice

We had seafood buffet there and there were a decent selection of seafood to choose from ranging from steamed shrimp to crab legs. On top of seafood, there were non-seafood items, desserts, fruits, and a salad bar. It was a bit busy because we went during dinner time, but our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. If you are craving seafood, make sure to stop by Fish Bones Restaurant!

Every dish was absolutely delicious; we cleaned our plates! The portion sizes were generous and more than enough, but everything tasted so good that we still managed to finish it all. The-service-was-really-great A+ The staff were friendly and went above and beyond when we accidentally left our credit card behind near closing time. They handled the situation professionally -- verifying our identity before returning it safely the next morning. The-ambiance-is-warm-lively A+ The restaurant is welcoming ,warm ,filled with cheerful conversations of families sharing meals, creating an atmosphere that's relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable.

Lots of seafood options - nothing for vegetarians or vegans here though. Kids got popcorn shrimp and a burger which they liked. My husband got the two pounds of blue crab with boiled shrimp and a side of corn on the cob, hush puppies, and roasted potatoes. He said it was OK, but the crab was a little overcooked. I got the grain bowl, with Salmon. All in all it was satisfactory, but just didn't quite hit the mark. I think it needed a little bit more in terms of seasoning. All that to say, it's a decent restaurant with pretty good food. It's beach adjacent and you don't have to walk very far if you're staying at one of the hotels on the waterfront.

From the moment we arrived, the hostess, Milk, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. She made us feel valued from the start, and throughout the evening she continued to provide excellent service to every table she assisted. She truly deserves recognition and a promotion. Unfortunately, our assigned server provided one of the worst dining experiences I've had. After taking our food and drink order, she returned only with our drinks and then disappeared for 15-20 minutes without checking on us. My friend's daughter's entrée arrived before our appetizers, and our appetizer--fried hard chicken wings--didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later. When we asked about the delay, the server said it was because we requested the wings to be fried hard. She then made a comment about "Black people in the kitchen cooking." Whether she intended it as a joke or not, the comment was unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. Because of the poor service and attitude, we asked if another server could assist us. While Milk continued to be wonderful, another employee with purple-blue hair was also very rude when we asked for assistance. Her attitude was dismissive and unpleasant. Later in the evening, around 11 p.m., I asked a staff member near the kitchen if they had lids for our seafood buckets. She responded "No" with an attitude. I then asked if they had to-go cups, and she said they did but claimed she was off duty. Less than 30 seconds later, she went behind the bar and began making and serving drinks, which made her response even more confusing. Shortly afterward, she began arguing with my friend at our table for no apparent reason. At that point, we asked Milk to get the manager. The manager came over, sat down with us, listened to our concerns, and apologized. He explained that he was actually off that day but had come in to help support the restaurant. We appreciated that he took the time to hear us out and said he would address the issues with his staff. The food itself was good, but good food cannot make up for poor customer service and disrespectful attitudes. We wanted this to be a memorable celebration for my friend's daughter, not an evening spent dealing with rude employees. Customer service is just as important as the food. Sadly, because of the experience we had, we will not be returning. I hope management invests in better customer service training because employees like Milk show what great hospitality should look like, while others left a very negative impression.

While parking was a bit tricky, choosing Only at Renee's was 100% the right move! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt nostalgic yet fresh, blending traditional Filipino decor with modern touches. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a wonderful sense of openness and community. As soon as we were seated, the staff kindly pointed out the restrooms and let us know that self-serve ice water and extra napkins were readily available in the center of the room. A special shoutout to Paulina and Xavier--they were exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our meal! The menu offers an incredible variety. Next time, we'll know to order a bit less for our young kids--the portions were much larger than expected! We definitely aren't complaining, though, especially since our hotel room had a microwave for delicious leftovers. Even our little ones thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
