    Alaskan Crab legs

Live music, ocean front view, delicious and fresh crab legs! Definitely coming back specifically to have the crab legs again!

We stopped in at Ocean House for a quick meal. We ordered the Shrimp basket for appetizers and they were fantastic. I love that it is a flour based coating and spiced just right. Loved it so much that I ordered the shrimp po'boy which was amazing. The fries and po' boys were fried perfectly and delicious. The burgers are served well-done which is less than ideal but still delicious. We had a picture taken by Sader Eddine from #HollywoodPictures to commemorate our visit to Virginia Beach. He is super friendly and courteous and we loved our pictures. Our waitress, azaliia, was friendly and accommodating. We will be back! We sat outside with view of the beach. It doesn't get better. One thing...get extra shots in your drinks! They're about on the weak side.

While walking around the ocean front my husband and I decided to stop in here for dinner. We sat outside since the weather was nice. We were seated quickly and the music from the rooftop area was a great addition to vibe set. I got the crab cake sandwich and my husband got the combo basket which consisted of fried fish, shrimp and a crab cake. He let me have one of his shrimp and they were seasoned perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by the crab cake and hush puppies. The crab cake was moist and did not have a bunch of filler. The hush puppies were cooked perfectly, with corn in it and had the sweetness that I grew up on. I also got the rum runner cocktail which definitely gave vacation vibes!! After dinner we went upstairs and listened to the music for a while. This is a great spot to check out while on the ocean front.

I loved Ocean House so much ! I'm obsessed with the rooftop view and bar area. Staff was outgoing and friendly. I got the crab dip and steamed shrimp. The shrimp was delicious and I enjoyed every bite. The server said the shrimp are local. We ordered drinks and enjoyed the views. There was good music playing and I saw some games in the back area. Restrooms were clean. Location was excellent, right on the oceanfront. I loved the ambiance and food! Can't wait to go back.

If your around 22nd on the boardwalk you need to check this place out. You get to have some yummy drinks. This one was a Horny Rita!! Delish. The view was amazing especially if your a people watcher. Just seeing the people enjoying their day along with the ocean view. Best way to be outside without the sun in your face enjoy a snack with a yummy drink.

The menu looked good from the street but inside this place was dead. I know it was a Monday but it's summer. We had to find someone to get a seat because no one was at the hostess table. The bar next door also plays super load music. The waitress acted like she didn't want to work there. Food was good ok. I ordered the crab cake sandwich. It was a little soft but good flavor. The outside of the restaurant looked promising, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it. When we arrived there were only two tables filled inside and a handful of tables filled outside. There was one person on the list in front of us as we were told it would be a 30 minute wait due to a staffing shortage. We got a drink at the bar (which appeared dirty) and decided to wait it out. The view from the restaurant was nice and definitely the best part of this experience. When we were finally seated inside (where there is no view) the waitress hurriedly took our order and the food arrived about 20 minutes later. There's nothing special here. The food was just ok. The crab legs were very small and not steamed well so they were hard to crack. The peel and eat shrimp was ok, but honestly not flavorful. We also had salads which were fine. I would not recommend stopping here.

One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list. You'll be glad you did, and you can rest assured that you're helping support one of our outstanding local restaurants.

She had always wanted to try it, it had a happy hour menu with food and drinks, so why not. We parked, walked the few feet over, got seated outside, and waited. Our waitress, Taya, was an absolute gem. Only 2 months working there and she was in her element for us. It was quite humid outside but it wasnt uncomfortable. The inside though was big and spacious (the big wall of Makers Mark alcohol bottles was quite a site to see). Now onto the food and drinks: For drinks I ordered their Catch 31 Orange Crush (delicious) and they went out of their way to prepare me a Irish Car Bomb (shot of Baileys Irish Cream in a pint of Guinness) the best they could and it worked out beautifully. My wife just had her favorite Blue Moon on tap and she had no complaints. For food we ordered a Buffalo Mac and Cheese (wife), The Mack (me) and coconut shrimp (share). The Mac and cheese my wife had blew her mind. The couple bites I took I could see why. The buffalo chicken on top was melt in your mouth tender and the cheese sauce balanced the spice out nicely. The Mack I had was a double cheeseburger with thousand island dressing, lettuce, onions, tomato, and pickles. I've mentioned the best burger I've ever had came from Smashed RVA but now it has competition in this one. It was fresh, juicy, and the toasted bun made it all come together. So good in fact I ordered a second one to go. Speaking of... The coconut shrimp we shared was so tender and the sweet chili dipping sauce would make your eyes pop out your head. It was spot on cooked, nice golden brown color, and very flavorful. My wife doesn't even like spicy food or coconut even but even she said she loved all of it. We got a second order of the shrimp to take home too. I talked to the manager on duty, named William, and told him my feelings and thanked him for a wonderful experience and meal and that we would definitely be back again. I can't speak for the people who gave this place negative feedback but I can say for my wife and I we had zero issues with the service, staff, and food.

Everything was good, though our other table ended up being ready way faster than expected, so we had to take most of it to go. One small PSA: the menu calls them "jumbo" quail eggs, but quail eggs are tiny creatures of nature to begin with, so don't walk in expecting chicken egg-sized deviled eggs.

BAD: Not much, a little pricey but if you stick to the sandwiches, given it's beach town, the value is reasonable. Other menu items get into the 30s quick and appetizers are steep. The fries are seasoned, very crispy and came with the burger which I liked. They had a great line up of burgers, I'd love to try another. The Knockout burger was fantastic, but the Cowboy burger on texas toast sounded great as well. You'll quickly leave the 17 to 20 dollar range if you leave sandwiches, but the service, the portions, and the quality make it worth a treat. Kudos to the wait staff. We did wait a bit for our food but as soon as we sat down someone greeted us and gave us water! Thank you. Our waiter was very nice, not very professional though, like we were talking like we're besties. She really did love her job and was talking everyone up. We love the positive vibes queen. Said she didn't want the cooks to get mad and yell at her cause it took extra time so we couldn't get that. That really kinda pissed me off.
